Highly recommended! The best Thai food and superb service... 5 Star Rating - World class

Sai Mai is the best Thai restaurant for miles around! The food is fresh, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We've tried many of their dishes and have enjoyed each one. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and attentive. The interior of the restaurant has been fully remodeled since its days as the Ming Palace restaurant, and people will be amazed at the transformation. The decor is tastefully elegant, and yet it is a restaurant that is kid-friendly. The restaurant's exterior is non-descript and uninviting, but if you go inside and order any of their tasty dishes, you will have discovered a new favorite restaurant. It is by far the best Thai food in the area. Penn Thai is decent, but Sai Mai is clearly superb.

Not your average "thai place"... 5 Star Rating - World class

Five stars! I can't recommend this place enough. If you are looking for a place to eat dinner tonight, try Sai Mai. If you want a new, local place to bring friends and show off to your out-of-town guests, try Sai Mai. You can even say you found it, I won't tell.

Not your average "thai place". The food is not only delicious, but beautifully and thoughtfully presented. In other words, it tastes as good as it looks. The service is fantastic, the drinks are excellent (mmm... Lychee Martini!)... Oh! and Happy Hour every day from 4 to 6 pm means $3 appetizers on the Happy Hour menu. My favorites are the crab salad on fried wontons and the chicken wings. I'm telling you, my mouth is watering right now just thinking about it. Fortunately, I'm only a short drive away from this place, but I'd gladly drive much further for this.

So what I'm really trying to say is, go eat at Sai Mai, you will not be disappointed. And who knows? You might just find a new favorite restaurant.

Great Thai food in Bothell! 5 Star Rating - World class

My wife and I were hooked on our first visit and now we've been Sai Mai regulars (at least once a week) for almost eleven months. It's our go-to eatery in Bothell... simply outstanding. While we enjoy some favorites, we also like to branch out and try different entrees and appetizers. The staff is very friendly and attentive and every dish is presented with the same high level of quality. This establishment is fastidiously clean at all times and is well thought out and pleasant to see. These people clearly care about their food and atmosphere, and work hard to maintain very high standards for their guests. If you go to Sai Mai and try their dining experience, there's a very good chance you'll become a repeat customer too. A nice bonus: you receive good value for your dining dollar... the choices are many and the prices are reasonable. It's hard to imagine a better Thai restaurant in the greater Seattle area.

The food was absolutely outstanding. The service was very attentive and friendly.
I have been Sai Mai twice for Dinner and it was wonderful both times.
Don't be afraid to go Sai Mai because of the last Chinese place.
I definitely recommend Sai Mai. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised to find such good Thai food out in the suburbs.
