Sure it doesn't have a very romantic atmosphere - the lights are all on brightly and it looks more like a pizza place than a fancy restaurant - but it's not trying to be fancy. Harini is a great place to just get some quality Indian food. Their dosas are HUGE and their other food is delicious too. The Pav Bhaji I ordered when I visited was perfect. Highly recommended.

Harini is a welcome departure from the college student's nightmare of pizza and Chinese food. Unlike most Indian restaurants, Harini is very affordable - you will usually spend 10 dollars on a reasonably portioned dinner.

As a side note, this is definitely the best place to eat some introductory Indian food. Compared to other Indian restaurants, the food is not too spicy and not too sweet - it seems just perfect. Once you've tasted Harini, move up towards a more upscale Indian restaurant - it's not quite authentic, but it gets the job done.

I'm a personal lover of Indian food and I had trouble finding a place close to TCNJ, but my friend introduced me to Harini and it is delicious! It's not very expensive and it's a great place to have authentic Indian food. The owner was our own personal waiter and he was extremely friendly. I really liked the dishes that we had there. I forget what we ordered, but it had paneer in it. If you're craving Indian food, I'd definitely recommend Harini for you! It's not a super nice or decorated place to go, but it's decent and it's affordable!

The weekday lunch special features a hearty buffet for under $9. I'm not an Indian food expert, but I enjoyed most of the food. Nothing seemed extraordinary but most of it was spicy or flavorful. If you plan on dining there on a weekend, the price increases to $11. Make sure to take advantage of the free water refills, most of the items will require you to quench your inflamed tongue.
