I tried the pancake flight and the theme was Ben & Jerry's. They served four small stacks of pancakes with various toppings/sauces reminiscent of Ben & Jerry's ice creams (i.e. Cherry Garcia). The toppings were a little sweet, but it was a fun way to try something new.

I know a lot of my friends really love this place, but I've never really had a great experience. The wait is long and the food has never impressed me. My friends like the orange coffee, but I have always hated flavored coffee and this is no exception. Avoid the eggs benedict and get something sweet. I tend to get the chai french toast, though it's a ridiculous amount of food and the last piece is always soggy from the amount of sauce they pour over it.

I like Orange and have been several times but I know not to come completely hungry because you are guaranteed a long wait. And I don't mean just waiting in line to be seated, which can also be a nightmare, but I've had servers forget my juice and our food always comes out at different times. That being said, I come back because the food is very good. The options are unique but the combinations work well together.

There are a couple of other locations in the city but this is my favorite one because it is so well-lit and airy. Everything here is a real treat--the orange-scented coffee is a great pick-me-up, and the "frushi" (coconut rice and fruit arranged to look like sushi) could be gimmicky but is actually really tasty. The fresh squeezed juices are delicious and they have just about any kind you could want. I love the rosemary french toast as well. Sometimes the pancake flights can be a little uneven/weird (it's a set of 4 small pancakes designed around a theme, once they had a pork and beans one that was a miss) but for the most part it's really great. It's a little pricey but definitely worth it if you're in the mood for something fresh and sweet, and have a little extra cash.
