Tangiers is located inside the Zituna World Food Market at the north end of the Promenade. This small buffet offers a variety of Mediterranean dishes that I don't know the name of but I see a lot at Mediterranean restaurants. You'll find dishes with eggplant, lamb, fish - the tabbouleh salad seemed a bit too "processed" - maybe they left it in the food processor a little too long because the parsley was almost ground. But it didn't taste bad. There were interesting meats in interesting sauces - sorry I can't tell you the names of these dishes. Even though the buffet was small the food was pretty good - especially considering the price. I thought $6.99 was a good deal!
Because Tangiers is located inside the store the smell is fabulous! There are all kinds of spices, cheeses, meats, and olives for sale. They advertise that they serve Halal meat only.
