Philadelphia Carpet Cleaners

They did the worst job ever. One room wasn't even clean when he was done. I would NEVER let them do my house again. I guess I'll stick with Stanley because they did a much nicer job for me.

We called them to clean our couch. We showed them the tags and asked if their method would damage the color. They insisted it would not (in very broken english). They cleaned the couch and charged us $250 cash (they wanted another $100 to pay by check or credit card). They cleaned the couch and left, the next day when it dried we realized the color was completely washed out in streaks, it looked like a blue zebra. We called back, the technician came back over and insisted it was like that already, then he got very aggressive and tried to intimidate me into backing down, when I didn't he said if it didn't return to normal in a week he'd buy me a new couch. A week passed and I started calling the company. I should ask for them to reupholster the thing but I felt generous and simply asked for my money back. They said they'd call me back that evening, but no call. I called again and got the same promise but no call. This started repeating itself every couple of days until I had been promised returns to my calls 11 times but never got a single call back. Eventually I insisted to be put through with some superior and I was not going to take no for an answer. They gave me some secretary in some other office and she told the boss was on vacation and would call me in a week. She acted super nice and concerned and said she looked at the pictures and I was clearly due compensation, she then promised emphatically that the boss would call me in one week when back from vacation, and she told me what honest and great people they were and she said she would personally follow up to make sure I got the call. A week came and went, then another, then another... I waited a month, no call back. I finally called and talked to somebody named Jo. He said whoever I talked to before had no authority to tell me what they did, then he accused me of damaging the couch myself, then said he'd investigate and I should call back the next day. I called back, no answer, so I left a message. Nobody returned my call (this is the 12th message I left and never got a call back). I called back on day six, no answer, so I left yet another message. Next week I'll be filing a claim in small claims court for full damages and legal fees. Avoid this company like the plague, they do not stand behind their work, they may do your job right, but if they screw up they will put you on hard ignore and you'll be jerked around so hard you'll have whiplash by the time it's over.

i want to recommend to others this local service, especially for rug cleaning, or rug restoration related services.

my rug collection is very dear to me and i am having a hard time trusting a company with it. the two men that came to my house, after we examined each rug with great patience from their side, took great care, bringing back the rugs intact and looking beautiful.

i thank them here and advise other rug owners to check them out.
