Did the right thing

I thought my dishwasher wasn't working and it turned out the switch on the wall that I didn't know was there was off. Dumb on my part but really required no work on their part. It was a second service call; the first time the replaced the latch on my dishwasher and got paid. They did the right thing and didn't charge me again, eventually. They are competent and quick.

They flooded our kitchen

Unfortunately a hose was not tightened after their repairman unclogged our washer pump. But WORSE they had the gall to blame us for it. Needless to say the insurance company dealt with them.
You take a chance everything will go right with them, because if it doesn't, it's your fault.

My home warranty company uses this company. They have been to my house over the past 3 years at least 5 times. All they ever did was load freon. After coming to my house yesterday (for the third time this year) and looking at the problem -- which wasn't an easy fix of putting freon in my unit -- they told my warranty company they "COULDN'T fix it" because a previous repair had been done by someone else. When I called and spoke to the service technician myself, he told me he COULD have fixed it, but he WOULDN'T. However, if I would have paid him cash instead of going through the warranty company, he would have fixed it....instead of leaving me to sweat it out in a hot and sultry house. When I asked for some compassion, he flatly told me "That's what you get for using a warranty company instead of paying cash"!

Speedy refrigerator repair!

My side-by-side Whirpool fridge went out on Saturday. Sears said they could send someone out in 10 days! I called around on Monday, and scheduled an appt with Arrow for the next morning. Dan called 15 before showing up, and came within the 30 min appt window (9:00a-9:30a), and figured out the problem in a few minutes - it happened to be a bad relay. He replaced it and was done in about 15 minutes. He charged me a flat rate of $239 for this kind of thing, and waived the $75 service call fee (standard policy) since we went ahead with the repair.
Overall, I am happy with the service. Dan was presentable, cheerful and knowledgeable. I would suggest specifically asking for him if possible.

Came out the next day to fix our microwave. Very clean cut and friendly guy went right to work and was done in 15 minutes! A little more expensive than I would have thought, but certainly reasonable--especially considering gas prices to drive out here! I will definitely use these folks again.

Very disappointing service! Refused to take resposibility for error!

We chose Arrow for washing machine repair based on pretty fair reviews. If the initial problem was the end of our concerns, other than price we would've given them 3 stars.
Their repairman did find a problem with a clogged pump and explained why we were having problems. Unfortunately after diagnosing and unclogging he did not attach the hose onto the pump tight enough with the clamp.
As a result, on our next use we experienced water damage in our kitchen and carpet. And worse: they would not accept responsibility for the error. They justified it by claiming it was a week later (so what, we don't do laundry daily), it was tested before the repairman left (water did drain but the machine was at an incline), and we voided the warranty by taking the machine apart (we removed the cover to see the source of the leak...AND the repairman later asked if we could see the source of the leak).
In short, beware this company. Mistakes are bound to occur for any company but this one will go the extra mile to remove themselves from responsibility.

I called Arrow Service Center because water was leaking from my air conditioner. I was given a 12-3 window of time for that same day; they came just minutes after 12. They diagnosed it is a clogged drain and had it fixed within a half hour. Along with that, they gave me some tips to lessen the chance of it happening again. All the while, the guys were super nice and accommodating. Don't hesitate to call Arrow Service Center!

Honest and dependable

My outdoor unit was not working when I came home around 7. I was getting frustrated when I was calling around and none could come out till next week. I called arrow and they said we will send someone out to your house within the hour. 10 minutes later, the tech contacted me and arrived within 30 minutes. The tech asked me a few questions about what my system doing, then checked my filters. He found out that my outdoor unit was not running, he found the problem and gave me a price. He had the part on his truck and within 20 minutes my house started to cool down. I wish to thank arrow for their fast service. I would recommend them to my co-workers.

Honest Service

I have a 5 year old Trane air conditioner that had a problem. I called Arrow Service because they are listed as the Trane factory authorized service company. The technician Michael called me 30 minutes prior to arriving at the house, right on time Michael showed up and asked me what the a/c was doing or not doing, I told him what the problem was then he went outside to check it, he found the problem and told me it was under factory warranty. (I did not even know it was under any warranties). He explained the problem, the price for the labor and had the part on his truck. I agreed to pay the labor and he fixed my a/c. It is blowing cold air in my home again. I thank you Michael for your honesty and knowledge to cool my family from the heat. I recommend Arrow Service for all your a/c needs, they are fast, reliable, honest and take pride in thier work.

I have had multiple a/c companies out to look at my a/c and nobody could figure out the problem until i called Arrow Service. They sent out the service manager Michael who diagnoised the problem in less than 30 minutes, he then explained the problem to me with a price breakdown and told me he could have it cooling in less than an hour. I agreed to the price and sure enough my house has been cooling since. I first want to thank Michael for such a wonderful job and also Arrow Service for understanding my situation and sending the service manager. I will recommend you to all my friends and family, Thank you again guys.

I would not use these guys! They wanted to charge me almost double what two other companies quoted. They said I needed XYZ when all I really needed was X. Save your money! Call someone else!

WOW WHAT FAST SERVICE!!!!

I came home one evening and my house was hot, so I called some ac companies and they said they could not get out till next week. I asked my neighbor who they used and they told me Arrow Service. I gave them a call and they came out withing the hour. The tech was polite and explained to me that my outdoor unit was shorted out and I had 2 options on fixing it. One was to replace the compressor and the other was to replace the outdoor unit. I asked how soon they could get me an outdoor unit and he told me he could get it one within an hour. A couple hours later my house was nice and cool again. I will recommend Arrow to my friends because of their fast response.

Worst Experience EVER!!!

Our A/C went out on June 1st. They came out on June 3rd, diagnosed the problem, charged us a service fee and put in writing that it would be "*3 to 5 business days*" for our problem to be taken care of. 6 business days later I called them to find out what was going on. I was scolded, informed that they did not have the part, and I was treated so incredibly rude. The man was yelling at me so I raised my voice and he yelled at me to "calm down LADY". So I told him that "it's a 100 f*ck*ng degrees in my house and I just want to know what's going on". He yelled back at me "Watch your language LADY" and hung up on me.
I called back and was ignored to a dead silence. I was contacted by them on June 12th and told that they could come between 4pm and 6pm. I said that I could do 5:30pm and the guy said that would not work. I asked why (afterall, he chose 4pm - 6pm) and he complained about my home being too far out and stated that his guys wouldn't get home until 7:30pm and that is just too late for them. He was being very rude again so I told him that I was no longer going to talk to him and we agreed that my father would contact him.
He told my father that it would cost an additional $250. $125 for a permit and $125 for a disposal fee. My father explained that we are outside of the city and that no permit is required so he agreed to waive the fee. My father then told him that he did not have to dispose of the old unit as it was to be left on the property. After hearing this the guy told my father that he would not do the service they agreed to do and hung up on him.
It's Summer time in Texas and my house temperature is 103 degrees. I understand that I could have easily called someone else and paid them but guess what. . .THIS IS A WARRANTY and we were told that we had to go through Arrow Service Center!!
Obviously we were not important enough to them.

I called about 5 other companies and none of them could come out. Called Arrow and they sent a service tech to my home within an hour. The tech was really polite and informative about what was wrong with my air conditioner and was able to get up and cooling the same day. I highly recommend Arrow for their quick response and information they provide .

24 hour service

I came home from work around 6 pm and my ac wasn't working. I called other companies that said they were a 24 hour service and all i got was an answering machine. Called arrow and got a live person on the phone. They helped me check some possible causes on my ac to get it to cool and when they didn't work, they said they would have a tech out within an hour. The tech called me within 20 minutes informing me he was on his way. Upon arrival, he asked me some questions about what my ac was doing and not doing. After his diagnosis he informed me of what needed to be done to repair my ac and gave me a resonable price. My ac was up and cooling before i knew it. I recommend arrow cause you get a live person to talk to when your ac isn't working rather then a machine that tells you someone will call you.

WOW what a great company to rely on!!
My a/c broke on a very hot day and I did not know who to call. Well my neighbor told me he used Arrow for his a/c problems and gave me the phone number. It was late in the evening when I called and to my surprize they were able to come out within about an hour. They arrived promptly and repaired it that night. It is cooling just fine now. I want to thank the wonderful people who work there for all the hard work they provide. I highly recommend Arrow Service Center to all my family and friends.

I would highly recommend these guys. They were able to come out the same morning I called (although I asked them to come the next morning) when other companies that I called couldnt come for at least a week, or didnt even call me back. They also gave me a call to confirm the appt and let me know they were on the way. After arriving, they quickly diagnosed the problem, which was much cheaper to fix than the motor replacement that Austin Energy told me I would need, and fixed it in less than an hour. Great Service!

WORST SERVICE BY FAR!!!!

GET A SECOND OPINION BEFORE USING THESE GUYS! OUR AC QUIT WORKING, WE CALLED THEM, THEY CAME THAT DAY AND TOLD US THE WHOLE OUTSIDE UNIT HAD SHORTED OUT AND THAT WE WOULD SAVE MONEY BY JUST PURCHASING A NEW UNIT INSTEAD OF REPLACING PARTS. THE TECHNICIAN QUOTED MY HUSBAND $3,500. WE WERE NOT TOTALLY CONVINCED SO WE GOT A SECOND OPINION AND WHEN THIS PERSON CAME OUT HE HAD DISCOVERED THAT THE BREAKER SWITCH ON THE OUTDOOR UNIT WAS TURNED UPSIDE DOWN SO THAT IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS ON BUT IT WAS ACTUALLY TURNED OFF. THEY OBVIOUSLY THOUGHT WE WERE TOO DUMB TO DISCOVER THAT. ALL WE NEEDED WAS A COMPASITOR AND OUR AC NOW WORKS GREAT, WHICH ONLY COST US $200.00 . WE DID NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING FROM TUESDAY(LAST WEEK)- MONDAY(MEMORIAL DAY) AFTERNOON, IT WAS EXCRUCIATING BUT WORTH IT IN THE END BECAUSE WE NEARLY GOT SWINDLED BY THESE GUYS.

When i got home from work i noticed my house was hot, come to find out my a/c was broken.
I called several companies in town that could not help me that night until i called Arrow. In less than an hour a technician came to my home and identified the problem immediately. The technician quoted me a fair price and was able to repair on the spot. I would like to thank them for all their help and i will tell everybody about the great service they offer.

Our A/C stopped working and we tried several shops but no luck getting service..we were lucky enough to call Arrow Service. They arrived the same day as our call, the tech was friendly and knowledgeable. They fixed the problem and the air conditioning has been working perfectly ever since. The price was 1/2 of what others were quoting. The owner even called later that day to check in to see how his technicians performed. Now that is what I call service... I highly recommend Arrow Service Center!
