Went in after a foot injury from running back in January. After I had x-rays performed by a very nice and friendly assistant, I was then treated VERY rudely by the doctor saying my injury was ALL my fault. I was then told, if not ordered to, buy $90 orthotics to put in my shoes. He did not ask what shoes I was running in or even my SHOE SIZE. When I said I did not want to buy them and they would not fit in my shoes, he made a note, shut my folder and stormed out of the room. The assistant then took 5 minutes to wrap my foot in something that caused it to bruise on the bottom and swell. That was it except for the anti-inflamatory pills prescribed. No therapy suggestions. She even apologized for his rude behavior. My chiropractor and information I found on webMD to strengthen my foot has been 100 times more beneficial than this man and guess what? With my chiropractor's help and exercises, I AM RUNNING MARATHONS AND IN IRONMAN COMPETITIONS WITHOUT ORTHOTICS IN MY SHOES.
Today, I received a bill in the mail for very odd procedures that never happened during the visit and now owe them money. Please avoid this place. DO NOT GO HERE. I have never felt like I was the stupid one for running, the stupid one for going to this doctor's office to waste his time and the stupid one for not wanting to buy expensive orthotics because, "everyone else runs in them. You just don't know they do."

I saw Dr. Brook about an injured toe. The device he gave me hurt and could not be used. It was not covered by insurance and they did not take credit cards. They have turned this "debt" over to a collection agency. No way will I ever go back!

Dr. Joel Brook and the staff at Dallas Podiatry Works fixed my feet when I was training for the Breast Cancer 3-day 60 mile walk. I had developed a number of issues, including plantar faciatis and blisters, and they were able to fit me with just the right shoes and pads to relieve my problems and make my experience of the 3-day absolutely amazing. Dr. Brook was supportive and knowledgeable. I would recommend this practice if you have foot issues.
