VERY LOUD AND VERY RUDE INSTRUCTORS!

.

I highly recommend ORS Pilates & Yoga for people who want to get into shape. The mat classes are fun and laid-back, and excellent for gaining flexibility and toning - especially in the stomach area. The classes are also kept small (usually between 3 and 8 people per class), so everyone gets a lot of attention from the instructors. And the instructors I've had (Sarah, Tomono, and Amanda) have all been very cool people and very knowledgeable about fitness.

ORS is an amazing studio. Everyone who works there is so friendly. I've been going to the 7am Happy Hour class for awhile and it's a great way to start the day. Plus it's by far the best bang for your buck in town. Amanda has been the instructor for most of the classes I have taken and she ROCKS. She makes us work hard and I have seen incredible results. I have been taking classes at ORS on and off for over a year and will probably stick with it for a long time. I run marathons and ride long distances on my bike and the Pilates classes have been instrumental to my cross training and injury prevention.

Cons: None

I love to come here for yoga. I have noticed in the last several months that I am more flexible and able to breath a little easier. Yoga is very fun to do if you have been considering it.

I've been coming to pilates classes at ORS Pilates for 3 months now, and I've seen incredible results. I'm now more flexible, have much stronger abs and back muscles, and (with the help of a better diet) have lost about 23 pounds. I strongly recommend this place if you want to get in shape and lose weight. The environment is fun and not intimidating, but you still get a great workout.

ORS Pilates is the best studio in downtown Los Angeles. I have been working out there twice a week since it opened its doors. My instructor, Sarah, is the best. She really pushes me at every session with new and challenging exercises. She attends training sessions for instructors frequently, so we never do the same old thing week after week. The studio is clean and well-lit and has new equipment. It has a very friendly vibe and the other instructors are also great. It's conveniently located on Figueroa and 23rd Street in Texere Plaza, so there's plenty of parking and easy access to public transportation (the Dash "F" route stops right outside). I highly recommend this studio for a great workout.
