5 Stars: Primrose Schools is the best - save yourself the search, look no further!! (by Christa B.)

Not sure about the gentleman's comments below, sounds like a unique experience or individual situation (always 2 sides to every story). I have had my child at Primrose BC for 3+ years now and ever since he was 11 weeks old, have had nothing but positive and healthy experiences both for him, his development and his care. I highly recommend the school as both the owner, director and the teachers are all passionate and dedicated. As with any organization or school or company, there certainly can't be expectations for perfection, however, in the instances that I have had a concern or question or even provided feedback - I have had rapid, respectful and kind responses or resolve. Additionally, I feel the staff is good about balancing kindness with professionalism and yet still keeping up with their regulatory and legal obligations in order to effectively keep our children safe and well cared for. If people are late or don't pay their bills - how will the school provide for the care, the supplies, the safety and the faculty? I'm sure if the gentleman below dropped by the school to pay his bill and then pick up the lunchbox or toys (which I'm confident were not "seized") , all would be resolved. I have referred over 1/2 a dozen families to Primrose and all have had excellent remarks/experiences and therefore have referred more families. I conduct lengthy research as part of my role in my profession and did the same for the value and investigation in "best" childcare for my son - to that extent, I am confident that Primrose is the best in Colorado - all locations seem to carry out the same high expectations for their school and results. I have relatives whose children have graduated from other Primrose schools in Colorado and have gone on to excel in both public/private schools settings and be remarkable students. Additionally, I'm proud that the school teaches to give back to charity/community, about teamwork, love, ethics, and being a good citizen. Could you really ask for more?! It's not a "daycare" - it's a school. And one of the best. :)

1 Stars: Primrose Schools is a place to avoid (by mike m.)

Primrose Schools in Northeast Jefferson is sketchy. This is simply my opinion, but I have had such a horrible experience that defies logic, that I feel compelled to warn others. According to Kathy Andersen, Director, they feel that it is their right to seize your personal property if you have an outstanding balance. While they have a right to be paid, they have no legal (let alone common sense) argument for holding their customers personal property hostage. In my opinion, the director should be ashamed and this practice should not continue. For the record, my son's lunch box and toys were seized before we were ever presented with an invoice. Which was for $150 for 3 days of service last week. He and his sister had been attending on and off for more than 3 years (never a late payment). Find another child care provider.
