Moving to SF 2 years ago was challenging! There were 5 different temp agencies working with me. I went on over 30 interviews and the first year hopped around on 7 contract jobs throughout the bay area. Kevin Bell was very encouraging when I was down- then he found me the perfect job . I have been in this permanent position for over a year and I am very pleased with Manpower's capabilities.

You could say these folks have ruined my chances to get in to a company I wanted to work for. They are the most unprofessional, disrespectful, and unorganized people around. I would recommend to any IT professional, so stay away from them. A recruiter named Brian Davis of San Jose branch have got me an interview, then after it, for a month and a half wrote me emails asking to "hang on just a little bit more" because he told that I was "definitely still in the running". Then he wrote me a bizzare email saying that the managers wife had a baby and because of that(!!!) the position has been discontinued. I have not been formally rejected after being interviwed and told job offer would close. This type of treatment is inexcusable and abhorrent; but to push the envelope a little further, the Same Brian Davis contacted me soon thereafter for another position in THE SAME COMPANY, and so I had to go through the same process again, and after the telephone interview which went extremely well, he had told me that "YAY! GOOD NEWS! The hiring manager wants to see you ASAP". When we scheduled the appointment, Brian Davis contacted me ON THE DAY OF the INTERVEW to tell me that the recruiter(another sloppy Manpower agent named Jessica Cook) who handled my file left for vacation and so this had not have actually been scheduled at all. At this point, I encourage anyone who reads this review, to caution their friends and coworkers, as well as help spread the word on the Web about a company who shows willfull disregard to their customers, who have no professional etiquette or any respect to the people who are the "hand that feeds them", to stay away from these guys as far as possible/// In the world with so much competition, I do not know how Manpower exists or functions, but I am sure they will not last long.

PROS: none
CONS: Unprofessional, show willful desregard to their customers!!!
