Germaine Hawkins, D.O.

I heard so many great things about this doctor and had to see him. Dr. Hawkins is a very caring and considerate doctor. He always gives me samples ans even coupons to help me as a single mother of 4. He listens and asks questions and you can tell he takes his profession very seriously. He goes the extra mile to see that you get better! His staff is not a good example what caliber of dr. he truly is!

Dr. Hawkins has been a breathe of fresh air for me and my psychiatric illness! He ACTUALLY listens! He didnt just tell me what to take he asked what my concerns were and told me upfront side effects. Unlike other psych doctors who just give you whatever and the see there nurse every month. I have never felt better in my twenty years of fighting manic depression! I would refer my mom, my best friend and my child to him! Seeing Dr Hawkins puts you in good hands

Dr Hawkins is by far the most compassionate, caring , professional and knowledgeable psychiatrist I have seen since moving here 3 years ago. I was so worried I would nt find another good doctor after moving here but after hearing s many good things about Dr. Hawkins I decided to make an appointment. Wow! This guy is impressive. After just 7 days he changed my medications and I haven't felt this good in 20 years! Ever since then he always listens, show he cares and goes the extra mile! In the waiting room you will more than likely even hear his patients say good things about him. He has a busy practice but I never feel like I am just another number on the assembly line. I even sent my co worker to him and she is doing great too. I could on and on but just know that Dr. Hawkins is a psychiatrist who truly cares and WANTS you to get better!

Dr Hawkins is an attentive listener. He asks questions and is genuinely concerned for the welfare of his patients! My son is doing much better with his studies now. I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Hawkins listened to my issues and my goals. He helped me consider a probable cause hindering me from reaching my goal. Together we explored which medications would create the greatest success! I appreciate that he listened to and validated my observations and made prescriptive adjustments based on that. A successful collaboration; I feel like the "real me" is alive all the time now!

I recently started seeing Dr. Hawkins after I was unemployed. I couldn't seem to concentrate and focus. I went to several MD's and specialists to have every test under the sun run but all they could tell me is that I look healthy. I was at my wits end and very frustrated when I did a search online and came across Dr. Hawkins website. The very first appt. the Dr spent the whole time just finding out about me as a person and the symptoms I was feeling. He told me his diagnosis and put me on two medicines. Within a week I felt better than I ever have in my life. I've found a new job and couldn't be happier. Thanks Dr. Hawkins! John in Arlington

I went to him in 2006, after my son was very ill and had brain surgery..my job was not understanding and I was so stressed out. He was great and I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Hawkins is very professional and nice. He discusses options with you unlike alot of docs who just tell you and hand over a prescription. Really like the guy. My wife will be seeing him soon too.

From my first session with Dr. Hawkins I knew he was the doctor for me. He was polite, easy to talk to, very knowledgable and showed a sincere in getting me better! I would recommend him to anyone!
