I can say confidently that this salon employs the best stylist i have ever used and I will continue to see her.

It's your average place to get a haircut... and its always pretty busy when i go so.. be advised,, make appointments.

I've always left happy here, although it's usually just a trim. But the hair wash and service is tops. Friendly staff, not overly chatty either. Great for when you don't feel like doing the whole "salon" thing and just need to get a trim, etc.

I was in desperate need of a manicure. I usually paint my own nails but it was right before the holidays and I knew I would never get around to it with my hectic schedule. The manicurist, Galina, was friendly though on the quiet side. Other than asking "square or round" she barely spoke but it was nice to be able to relax and not feel forced to make "small talk."
She is extremely precise and my nails have never looked better! I have gone back twice since my first visit and plan to continue making appointments. Friendly atmosphere, great front-desk staff.

I've never done anything here besides get a wax from Olga, but it was one of the best salon experiences of my life. Everyone here is so friendly and courteous. I feel like they really cared about me, especially since I'd never gotten my eyebrows (or nether-regions) waxed before. The first day I went, it was really hot and humid outside. They gave my friend and I some bottled water while we waited. Olga was awesome; she's very professional, explains what she's doing step by step, and did a wonderful job on my eyebrows.

Oksana's the best hair stylist I've EVER gone to. She is incredibly talented and aware of what works with different types of hair, face shape, etc. One of the best things about working with Oksana is that I can actually recreate the style on my own. And she does a great job with my husband's hair too! Going to the salon is a great experience...it's a wonderfully relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and everyone who works there is adds there own special talents to the mix. I've recommended several friends and am constantly encouraging people to make the drive up north because I know they won't regret it!

I just went here for the first time and had a great experience. Everyone was really friendly and I got a great haircut. I went from superlong to supershort and was really nervous but once they started cutting I couldn't stop smiling. I am getting tons of compliments now!

I had my first cut with Oksana the other day and I was so happy with the experience that I promptly booked her to do my hair on my wedding day.
This might be the first time I have ever truly *loved* a haircut. My only tip: get someone else to drive you home after your haircut. When I left, I couldn't keep my eyes on the road because I was too busy admiring how great my hair looked in the rear view mirror.

I finally tried this salon. I was hesitant. But I really love it here. My curly hair looks amazing. I do have trouble recreating it at home - but everyone here is happy to give me tips, and it's so easy, so it's really probably just me getting used to it. If you have curly hair, this is the place to go.

If you are looking for a fantastic colorist, seek out Oksana, and do it soon! She is talented and honest and will actually sit with you and determine what color would look best for you - not what you pick out of a magazine that looks good on someone else.

If you're looking for a real no-nonsense massage, ask for Mark. He's incredible with his hands and sweet as sugar!! He listens to where you need extra care and finds spots you didn't know were sore. That's the sign of a great professional!

I just tried this place for the first time and I highly reccomend! Don't let the outside fool you- inside is simple decor, very clean. The prices are right and my massage was better than more expensive ones I've had at high end spas.

Loved this place. I recently had a massage there and I had never had a massage before but I will definitely be going back. The place was , clean and comfortable, the staff was professional and accommodating; I plan on trying to hot tubs next time. My shoulders feel decidedly less tense as do my calves: the two places where I have the most problems. I highly recommend this place!

I just got a massage there last week and was very satisfied. They were friendly when making an appointment and were very attentive to meeting my needs. The place is very clean and comforting. The massage therapist did a nice job. I would have liked more communication but overall it was great!

What can i say but wonderful things about this adorable, friendly salon. My hair stylist was Oksana, who was instantly personable and took a good amount of time investigating what my hair wants to do naturally. She gave me a sassy cut with lots of easy layers and great shape. That on top of a shampoo with scalp massage, hand massage and complimentary tea! I was truly pampered and had a great experience here.

This is a great salon.... you walk in and you immediately feel welcome. The people are so friendly and it feels like you are kind of in a home. It is nice when they wash your hair they give you a massage and don't rush it. Also, while you are getting a haircut, someone comes by and massages your hands. It is really relaxing! I would definitely recommend it!

This is my favorite salon in the city, and I have tried quite a few. The perfect combination of cutting-edge talent in a warm, inviting atmosphere. I've had Oksana for cuts (really good), and Anne for color. Not for bargain hunters, but worth every penny.

Completely worth your time and money! Everyone is friendly and chatty - and does a great job as well. When I was there on a Saturday, they had drinks and snacks and I was pampered with a complementary hand massage. My colorist, Oksana, was amazing; she is the BEST! I'm so glad to find a place I can trust with my unruly curly hari... I just can't say enough good things about this place.

everyone really likes this place. The salon is adorable and everyone there is so nice. The second you walk in everyone says hi and offers to make you as comfortable as possible. I love getting that kind of service in a place that isn't stuffy and old. i would highly recommend them anyway.

FINALLY I've found a salon and stylist that I am planning on sticking with. I've been through 3 salons, one of which is horrible, the other 2 of which are inconsistent. In any case, my hair highlights have been a disaster ever since last June. Finally, today, after nearly a year of awful color, I went to Osana at Consept...she really knows what she is doing. She is very friendly and conscientious. Everyone around me at the salon seemed very friendly.

I like the hair stylists here--they seem to have so much character. It is also the first salon where the hair stylist asked me to stand for a minute while she cut my hair. Most importantly, I liked my haircut, and I'll go back again.

Ohhh, this place is like heaven. I am so stressed during weekdays and nothing relaxes me then some of the massages offered there. And it's not just for relaxation. One time I had some neck and back pain which went away thanks to some magic hands. And it's not that expensive....

This place is EXQUISITE!! every thing has been absolutely fabulous and WELL worth the money!! It's clean; the staff is friendly, and it is a day (or a few hours) well spent!

Oksana gave me an awesome haircut AND she was fun, funny, and the best person to talk to for an hour while he snipped at the mess on my head. Everyone else was wicked nice, too... and the salon (whether interior is your thing or not) really does add a little bit of color.

I used to love coming here, because I loved how Oksana could do anything with my hair. And I love how when you know your stylist well enough, or rather how your stylist can know you well enough, you don't really have to say anything when you come in. They just KNOW.

I have not been able to find a hair stylist that actually listens to what I want and tells me if that will work or not until I came to Oksana ! She is awesome!! Not only is she an awsome stylist but she is very friendly and easy to talk to, which I have not been able to find either. Then a couple days after my cut I had a random stranger ask me where i get my hair done because she thought it looked so good! So I told her Concept day spa, and see Oksana!!! =)

LOVE this salon. After 10+ years of hopping from salon to salon, I finally found someone who consistently gives me a great cut. It's my first monogamous client-stylist relationship and I'm very happy! Oksana is a rockstar!!!

This is the only place in NY that I have gotten a bikini wax. The estitician did a very good job. olga was very pleasant and professional. It is a clean, friendly environment. I like it!

I really really like this place. I moved here in June and had put off getting a hair cut b/c I was too scared. I have tons of long hair that is pretty wavy. I had a couple of people recommend this place to me so I figured I'd give it a try. I was pretty happy with the cut, happy with the new and improved waves! I can wear this cut straight or wavy, and the stylist was knowledgeable. Oksana also didn't try to sell me any products and told me the drugstore ones I was using were fine (that's a new attitude in a salon). She showed me how to lessen frizzies, and was overall very positive, very helpful, and I'm really happy with the cut. I'd highly suggest this place!

The place is beautiful and relaxing. I've had two different bikini waxers here, both did a great job and were very friendly (but not in an uncomfortable way given the situation). I've also gone for a massage with Olga, and she was great. Highly recommended.

For the past few months, almost every time I comment on a haircut I like I discover that the head it's on got it done at Luna. Hair grows, so I figured that I hadn't much to lose and booked with whomever was available.
When I got there it occurred to me that I might be in for a very expensive haircut, but I'd rolled the dice and I knew there was no turning back. Whomever was available turned out to be ERick. Totally to the point, down to earth, and really excited to have a head of hair with no agenda. I told him I just wanted it to look good. He found this wacky curl that has always popped up by my ear, no matter what I do, and said "Let's do something with this". And he did. And what he did was so different from what I have had in the past that I didn't know what to think. I had completely enjoyed my hour at the lovely salon, so all in all I was pretty happy to carry on and see if I could get used to it. When I got home my husband took one look at me and said "Wow! Does he do men's hair?" That is huge. My husband doesn't let ANYONE cut his hair (except for me, and I don't particularly enjoy doing it... but that is another story)

I have been seeing Erik for cuts and for color for a few months now, and I really couldn't be happier with the results. Erik is super-speedy with the color, and the way he carefully paints on each highlight generates the best results I've ever had. It ends up looking very natural and the placement of highlights is very flattering too. He is an expert with scissors, and a blowdrier. Now I think he has my next cuts already planned out.

That deserves 5 stars! This is mine and my family's favorite hair salon. They are very cheap considering the prices that are out there these days. All of the employees are very friendly and include you in all conversation- so you're not caught in any of that awkward hair salon jibber-jabber like most of us with long color treated hair usually go through. I've had the best luck with Oksana, so request her! If you're in the area or new to the area and searching aimlessly for that perfect hair salon, Concept day spa is definitely the choice you should make.

I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices, and warm, inviting atmosphere of Concept day spa. The ladies who work there are friendly and fabulous. Erik is amazing. I have very curly hair and Erik always cuts it well and takes the time to blow it out just how I like it. I am grateful to him, i am eternally grateful for the effort he puts into my hair.

I had gone to the same salon for years and was very hesitant to try a new place. A friend convinced me to try Concept day spa and I am so glad that I did. I have always walked out of there happy. Erik is my stylist and he is great!!! I highly recommend this salon not just for hair, but also for waxing and manicures.

Oksana was my stylist and she is wonderful. She listened to what I wanted but gave it her own spin. She is easy going and very talented. I never really return to the same stylist twice, but I will for her. She gave me great tips for how to manage my hair and the price is very reasonable. I love my hair cut and plan to return to Oksana soon to have coloring done.

I have had two facials with Olga, and absolutely plan on continuing to make appointments with her for this service. Not only have I learned so much about the right products and treatments for my skin type, but I have continually left the salon looking brighter and smoother. Olga is incredibly knowledgable, friendly, and talented. I highly recommend booking an appointment with Olga if you are less than thrilled with your skin's appearance.

If you want to get AMAZING highlights, go to Oksana. I haven't had anything else done at the salon, but every time I go in for highlights I am always thrilled with the outcome. I am one of those clients most hairdressers probably dread--I am super picky, I want to explain it just the way I want it, show pictures, etc--and she is always completely patient with me and listens thoroughly before starting. If you want natural, gorgeous blonde, I highly recommend making an appointment with Oksana.

Oksana is outstanding. She has done fabulous blonde color & highlights for me . She knows what shades will work and which won't. The salon is comfortable and relaxed. There are big fluffy sofa, coffee, tea, and snacks. They also offer facials, manicures, and massage. Although I have not had a massage, the manicures and pedicures are great. Prices are very reasonable.

This is the best salon by far and I'll tell you why. You're greeted in a happy lobby with a giant flat screen TV and urban dance music. You can VH1's 101 hottest celebrity moments by the time you get your mani. The manicurists are friendly, knowledgable, and most importantly, they care about the health of my nails. There was no pressure into buying anything- but how can you resist anyway? Open late and 7 days. Crazy, huh?! You can't lose!

I started going to Oksana a few weeks ago and she has been very responsive to me and my crazy curls. She listens, makes changes based on my comments, and of course adds her professional advice. I had a pretty questionable experience for my last haircut. Erik cut and colored my hair and he was really great to talk to and he did a great job on my hair, too.... and the other girl working and all of the other people that came in and out while I was there were really fun as well. The place is cute, it's not pretentious, has great music and is not disgustingly expensive. I will definitely go back!!

I got my hair done by Erik for the second time, and once again I love it. From the comfy and clean salon, to Erik's very sweet and engaging personality all the way to the time, thought, energy, and care put into my hair, this place rocks. I have had many a bad hair experience and being treated like I don't deserve to be in their presence.
You get nothing like this at Concept day spa. In addition to all of this, Erik is a color master. He knows way better than I do what will look good, and he integrates beautiful shiny color on the tiniest of strands so that hair looks sparkly and natural. My highlights lasted about 2 weeks longer than they ever have. I will definitely be back in a couple of months when I need a trim and a color update.

The best! I have extremely thick, extremely curly hair, which most stylists are intimidated by. I am 25 and have NEVER been happy with a haircut,usually because stylists refuse to take risks with my unpredictable hair. I called Concept day spa to make an appointment with Erik. He dove right in and not only took risks, but he also executed them perfectly and left me with the only haircut I have ever truly loved. I highly, highly recommend this salon.

I have pin straight hair. Oksana does a great job with it, I've been going here for 2 months and she never gives me a bad haircut. My hair is very thick and its manageable the way she layers and razors it, without looking choppy.Plus she highlights it and it always looks natural and I get tons of compliments.

Great clean place. I came to the salon in desperate need of a haircut. I'm extremely picky with my hair but ERIK blew me away. I left with light flowing layers, and I'm happy that he took the time in carefully cutting my hair. I have found my new hairdresser and will surely be returning.

I went for a cut yesterday. Oksana is the best. She was very careful and meticulous. I am at work today and have had many many compliments. I think she did a nice job giving me a feminine short cut, and that isn't easy with my very fine straight hair.

My reasons for going to Concept day spa were a bit unusual, but I am SO glad that I did. For years I've been wanting to put a pink stripe (or two) in my hair, but either I didn't have the guts, I was interviewing for jobs and didn't want to look too funky or, most recently, my stylist told me she didn't 'do that with hair.' Oksana could not have been sweeter or more accommodating, and she did WONDERFUL things with my hair. The color was fantastic (and really lasted a lot longer than any of us expected), the cut was the best I've had in years and the whole experience was both fun and soothing.

I've only had my hair cut there once but I'll definitely be going back. The cut I got was certainly easy enough, so I wasn't worried there, but Oksana is really nice, and have an easy time of making you comfortable there. The prices are reasonable, and good for the quality of cut you'll get.

Erik cuts my hair, and I'm usually very satisfied with his cuts. Erik pretty much knows exactly what I want, and all the random aspects of my hair, and does a fantastic job cutting my hair every time... I used to get my hair cut every 4 weeks, because I couldn't stand the way it looked after about a month, but now, i wait about 6 weeks because it always grow in very nicely and still looks fine for a long time.

I have nothing bad to say about Concept day spa. I use to get my hair cut at different places and I was never thrilled and always walked out with haircuts that were never really what I asked for, but what the stylist thinks I should have. Then one day, one of my coworkers with the same problem, chased down a woman on the street and asked her who cuts her hair. It was none other than Erik from Concept day spa, my coworker went there that same week and her hair has never looked more amazing. After a few weeks, I book my appointment with Erik. Actually, I just got home from a hair appointment, not only did all the stress of the day melt away when I was in there, but I walked out with great hair! And my boyfriend, who's the world cheapest man, is now hooked and loves going there to. It was the first time he was ever satisfied with a haircut! All thanks to Erik. Erik- you're the BEST!

When I moved to Brooklyn, I need to find a new salon.Had the best haircut of my life here. Felt so good about the experience that I decided to get a highlight done too (never had one before and wanted to combat the increasing attack of grey hairs). I was thrilled with the result. The color looked completely natural -- not streaky or too light.

Great place! I went here after I had a disastrous dye job (my red highlights made me look like Bozo the clown). I came out with fabulous low and highlights. I saw Erik, who saved my hair from the agony that is the "growing out" stage. The staff is super friendly. No pressure to buy products.

I left Concept day spa with an excellent haircut (goodbye poofiness, hello smooth(ness)!), and a smile. I usually have an awkward time with stylists, mostly because i never know what to say to someone who's hacking pieces of my hair off. But Oksana, my hairstylist, and I had a good chat. She told me to go out and party with my new haircut tonight.

After a year of searching for a new hair stylist, I can finally say that I have found someone that understands my hair. I am ridiculously pleased! Erik cut my hair and rescued it from the mess it was before. He is very detail-oriented and down to earth. Everyone who works there is very personable. I felt like I had been going there for years; that's how comfortable it is. It was so refreshing to go to a salon and not feel out of place. I highly recommend checking Concept day spa out next time you need a haircut.

I love this place. I dread having to find a new place to get my hair cute, and Oksana has been awesome since the first time I came here. She really listens to what I want and executes it in a way that leaves me happy. I've been back four times since and going again next week. The price is great, the atmosphere is nice and I'm very pleased in general. I really recommend it.

Excellent service and amazing cut and blow dry. I needed to look good for the weekend, I called for a same day appointment and they were able to get me in right away.
Oksana is excellent, listens and takes the time to get your hair done right. It is a nice small salon so you don't feel like you are just a number. The service was personal, courteous and very friendly. I'm definitely going back.

I went to this salon for the first time on Friday. I had my hair done by Oksana. She is very professional and listened to my concerns. I usually don't like my hair until a week or so after the fact but I loved what Oksana did and the style kept through Sunday! I will most certainly be back!!

Terrific, nice smelling spa with friendly, well-trained specialists. The music is a little too new-agey for me, but it's a spa, so what are you gonna do. It's very clean and comfortable, and they serve tea and water in the waiting area. I haven't tried their other services, but Concept day spa is definitely a good place to go for waxing.

Oksana gave me the best haircut I've ever had, I've been to her three times now and she colored my hair. When I got my hair colored I loved it but she was very honest with me and said she had wanted it to be a little bit more intense, and even though I loved it I agreed, I went back a week later for a complimentary "fix up" and left the happiest I've ever been with my hair.

i'm obsessive about my hair and LOVE the way Oksana cuts my hair. The salon is really relaxing and feels upscale without the pretentiousness. I have recommended Oksana to so many people and have only heard good things about their experiences.

Great service and I couldn't be happier with my haircut. I got my hair cut and blown out by Erik. I have curly hair, and he knew exactly how to cut it and style it. He told me exactly what he was doing each step of the way, which was reassuring and really sweet. He was tons of fun and my hair looks amazing! It looks spectacular and I am definitely going back.

I think that I found my new salon and stylist! Not only was the staff great , my haircut was great too! My stylist, Erik identified the problem with my previous cut and fixed it. He also gave me a great blow out and I was just like WOW! my hair has never looked so fabulous straight and he said that he just really likes blow drying hair a lot and it was no problem. I've had the cut for four days and several people who never ever see me have commented on how well styled my cut is.

I was really impressed by the way Oksana sat me down in front of the mirror and immediately sensed what my hair needed. I'm terrible at telling a stylist what I want, so I just have to hope they understand what will look good on me, and she totally did. She put in some really cute layers and then used thinning shears on my out-of-control thick hair, to keep it from being so weighed down. I'd never had that done before and was a little freaked out by the idea, but it definitely worked. I look and feel awesome!

I visited Erik in this salon. What I loved about the whole experience was that I told Erik that I was feeling kind of tired with my color and wanted something new, but natural. He spent HOURS on the whole process and my hair came out beautifully. He then styled it for a holiday party, and I've never seen such genious with a flat iron. My favorite part of the whole thing was when he put the "glaze" on my hair. It felt and smelled like cool honey all over my head and my hair came out glowing.

My hair stylist was Oksana and she was really sweet. I had explained to her that this was my first time getting a hair cut from someone other than a mutual friend of my aunt since I was a child and i was kind of nervous. Oksana reassured me and went right on to cutting my hair. I had a few ideas and explained to her what I wanted and she seemed to "read" me really well. She gave me an excellent hair cut that was low maintenance and complimented my face shape really well! I look forward to doing business with this salon in the future. Bottom line: really friendly to their clients and listen to what they want and find a way of delivering it to them.

I really like this place- everyone is nice, and the atmosphere is fun and upbeat. I go to Erik for both cut and color, and he does a fabulous job! I have curly hair, which has ended in some disastrous cuts. However, Erik did a great job, and it looks good both curly and straight!
