"SPECTACULAR!

I just spend much of the late afternoon and evening at Invidia pampering myself. I couldn't wait for my appointment, because two of my girlfriends went there last week. I spent the weekend listening to them and how great the place was. I made an appointment for a facial and a soothing massage. I even then decided to get a pedicure, which happened to also be the best I ever had, after my service. I just didn't want to leave! They also have an incredible relaxing private woman's lounge that I almost fell asleep at. I needed a day like this to energize myself. It was almost surreal being in the spa.... the music, the lighting, everything was so relaxing. I am so happy to be local, but I would drive an hour or more without hesitation if I wasn't. By far the best spa I have ever been to, here in Brooklyn. I am going to refer all my friends for sure.

Concept Elite has very experienced hairdressers. They go to classes weekly and are up with the most current hair fashions. The place is a bit pricey, but sometimes you do get what you pay for. Concept Elite has also given my not for profit agency that i work with a lot of free coupons for us to raffle off and make money on. Concept does excellent work and it is a place with a heart...

I went to Concept Salon recently because I really needed to change my style. I could not have found myself in more capable hands. Everyone there was very nice, creative, great looking, and very professional. I was also impressed with the way they interact with each other, which was very composed and professional. It made me feel very comfortable and excited to be there. Best of all, I love my hair now!

Blatant abuse of this review system

By looking at the reviews on this web site and others, it is obvious that just about all of these reviews were written by the salon itself. If you notice every review is similar in the way they all give five stars and praise a particular employee of the salon. It hasn't been open for long but, it has more reviews than salons that have been open for years. Also, if you click on the reviewers name, you will see that they have not given any other reviews at all. The salon may be good but, I guess I will never know after realizing how they have abused the review system that I have came to depend on before I spend my hard earned money.

my concept spa experience......

When I went to do my facial with Galina, it was amazing. I had got a microdermabrasion facial with glycolic, It felt like the old skin on my face was gone and the new shiny, silky skin took it's place. There was no redness and no scars after my facial, I was utterly surprised at how refreshed my skin felt, it was like my skin could finally breath again. My face felt young again and I was happy. Galina had done a wonderful job, after I have tried other places where they do facials, my face would always turn out red at the end, but not in concept spa, their staff is wonderful and experienced. Concept Spa is very luxurious and when you are there you feel happiness, I am deffinently coming back there again.

The place to have your hair done!

I went for the first time last week since Concept was booked solid. I got a cut and color from Oksana and was quite pleased with the results. Oksana wielded her scissors and blow dryer with assured precision. She cut my hair partly when wet and partly after she dried it, which no one else has done and I thought it was a good idea. I like my haircut!

The best salon!

I booked an appointment with Erik. He is very sweet and he really knows what works for my face. I tell him what idea I have in mind and he just works with it and makes it happen. He is also very liberal with his use of foils! I have only had good experiences here and would recommend it to anybody who likes to treat themselves to a nice hair experience.

Galina is indeed good at her craft. I went in for a brazillian wax and she was quick and efficient. I am not going to lie, of course it hurts, it's a brazillian wax for goodness sake, but Galina was able to make the pain quick and easy. unlike what others have said here, she was very pleasent and friendly. Not the overly friendly kind, but just pleasent enough. Highly recommend this place if you need a quick and good wax.

I have only been to this salon once, but I had a fantastic experience. Great haircut from a very friendly stylist, plus a pedicure and an eyebrow wax. Not cheap, but not any more expensive than you would expect from an upscale salon.

A very unique place, a refreshing change from all the other salons out there. The girls who work there are young, vibrant and cater to all crowds. You can probably get anything from a traditional layed cut to a red faux-hawk, quite honestly.

Best Hair salon in Brooklyn! I've been going here for a while and I love the stylists. Oksana is really wonderful.
They keep changing the interior, trying to get it right, not sure if they are there yet, but if you can look past that, it is all about getting great hair styling.

I think that I found my new salon and stylist! Not only was the staff great and not at all snobbish (just like other reviewers commented), my haircut was great too! My stylist, Oksana, identified the problem with my previous cut and fixed it. She also gave me a great blowout and I was just like WOW! my hair has never looked so fabulous straight and she said that she just really likes blow drying hair a lot and it was no problem. I've had the cut for four days and several people who never ever see me have commented on how well styled my cut is.

Relaxing, friendly, atmosphere with tasteful, contemporary decor that isn't too chichi. Not too pricey either. I can't speak for the hair salon / nail side of things, but I can say that their waxing services are marvellous.

Yup, my office is right up the street from this place. Otherwise, I'd have never found it.

The decor is pretty - nice lighting, spacious and most importantly very clean!
I've only been there once for a pedicure. But i liked it here!!!

I had a massage here shortly before my wedding and it was sooooooooo relaxing. They gave me a complimentary foot soak and allowed me to chill out before taking me in for the massage. I was looking for a new hair stylist also, so after being treated so well there I made an appointment for a cut. The stylist did a great job -. For a chain, this place is outstanding.

Hot Stone Couples Massage was Excellent!!?

My boyfriend got the couples hot stone massage for Christmas, so we went in on a Saturday afternoon to get them. The hot stone aspect was phenomenal - the stones were used for the massage all over the body, and the massage therapist was great about making sure the stones were the right temp. Our therapists Yura and Vala, and we highly recommend both of them! We're going to go back for another, with the two of them again!! The therapists were very personable, chatting with us and answering general massage questions we had - they definitely made the experience even more enjoyable. Will absolutely go back!!

Most Relaxing Place in Brooklyn

I was having some back and neck pains from workouts and needed some relief - I went here and walked out feeling 110 percent! I went for an hour long massage and I cannot wait to go back. The atmosphere is great and everyone was so friendly. I will be scheduling another appointment very soon! I'd recommend going here to anyone. I've gotten other massages before but none were as good as the one I got at Concept day Spa

Concept Elite was a great experience for me from my very first visit.Everyone is very friendly & helpful.Always with a smile on their faces.As for my hairdresser/colorist,Cara i knew the day i walked-in with my husband that Cara knew exactly what i wanted.She was very honest with me,& i like that about her.Cara is a beautiful person inside & out.I never have to tell her what to do.My haircut & color is always perfect.Wherever i go i get compliments.

I love goint to this hair salon. I am always confidant that I am going to look better coming out than going in. My hairdresser Trisha is the best I have ever had. She always does my hair so pretty I feel like I'm ready to go to a wedding afterwards! The atmosphere is adaquate and everyone that works there is really nice. I have a good experience everytime I go there. I look forward to getting my hair done at Concept Elite!

Mark did such a great massage on my back, I loved it, I feel 10 times better then i ever had in my life. The swedish massage was perfect, I felt so relaxed, so calm, so in peace with my inner-self. My back does'nt even hurt anymore, can you believe it!? I am deffinently coming back for more of mark's massages, they feel so good. I also liked the room where I was in, the aura felt so peaceful and sensual, and when the massage was finished I felt so energized, it was like I had gained a tremendous amount of strength at that very moment. It was the best feeling in the world.

The best haircolor!

I came in with a picture of what I wanted - the blondest color . I am pretty sure that a lot of places would have told me that going blonder would be risky, since I already had spots of bleaching and whatnot, but Oksana handled it well and the color came out perfect! Also, the cut is probably the best I've had. I have very fine hair, and usually it's hard for me to get the type of volume I want, but with the cut she gave me, it's effortless to get it to look exactly how I want it. Not to mention I loved the tea they gave me and the products they used on my hair (oh, the money that would have been spent if I'd had it at the time). Whenever I can afford a full-price cut/color I'll definitely be coming back!

She gave me the name of her stylist - Oksana- and told me that she loves going to her because she treats you with care and precision, as if your hair was a piece of art. This salon is beautifully appointed and they do a great job with everything from cut to color to manicures to facials. The stylist I worked with was Oksana and she did a great job. My hair was too long and dull. It needed some major work, but Oksana did a great job and with some speed as well. She suggested adding a bit of red in the dark brown I chose and clipped chic side bangs into my hair. I really appreciate stylists who take what you want into consideration and collaborate to make your hair look better and Oksana definitely did that.

She is reasonably priced, has an organic and informal approach, and cuts your hair according to what it tells her, which is always perfectly suited to your face, your style and your attitude. Amazing

Kolakao 5 Concept Day Spa

Gala did an amazing job threading my eyebrows. Threading is the technique used for shaping eyebrows using cotton thread. It's more gentle than waxing and proves to have greater results because of the precision. I love it because it's so convenient to work and I can get them done during lunch.
