TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE OFFICE STAFF!\r
My husband had cut his hand and required a few stitches. My husband and I, along with our children, are loyal Gwinnett Clinic patients, but that changed today. Upon arriving at the clinic, we were met with the receptionist who often works the front desk, evidently off today, complaining to the other two women working, stating that she was glad she wasn't working because she would rather be ""anywhere but in this place."" After signing my husband in, the other receptionist informed me that we have a balance, which I already knew, since my husband just had a sleep study last month. I informed her that I knew that, but that we received the bill yesterday, and it was not yet due. She insisted that to receive service, I must pay something today. I explained to her that we have been coming to this clinic for years, and have never been late on payments, but my husband needed assistance. I was met with questions, ""WHEN are you going to pay? How much are your going to pay?"" and told, ""You need to pay something today if he's going to see someone."" I cannot believe we were treated this way about a bill that isn't even due yet. After being humiliated by the receptionist, who was becoming louder and impatient, in front of several people in the waiting room, my husband and I left to seek assistance elsewhere. The doctors have always been nice, but the nurses and reception staff are the rudest, most incompetent slobs I have even come in contact with. Their job is to assist on making people feel better, and they fail. If you're that miserable with your jobs, quit, but don't take it out on your patients, or soon you won't have any left to abuse. We will not ever go back.\r
