My friend recomended me to go see her stylist Robin at Toni&guy in Gwinnett Place Mall. I have to say I was reluctant to go. I'm usually not a fan of salons that are located in malls. But I also can't seem to find a stylist that can give a good hair cut. I must say I was impressed! Robin gave me an amazing haircut! I have also never received so many complements on my hair before. It must have looked pretty bad before. Thanks Robin!

I have been looking for a stylist for 2 years! Since Whitney cut my hair I have had nothing but compliments on my haircut. She is the best! Gave me a rocking style for an almost 60 year old Grandma! Thanks Whitney!

I just tried out Toni & Guy salon today and I'm impressed! I had made the mistake of coloring my own hair. It was a nightmare! But they were able to not only fix it, but make it beautiful! I will never try to color my own hair again. Go see Adelina she's a genius!

I have been a Toni & Guy client for a year now and my hair has never looked better! I actually had a woman the other day chase me down to ask me where i get my hair done at! That has never happened to me before! I strongly recomend going to see them. The salon is very edgie but don't be afarid of that. They go through alot of training! My hair is classic highlights and a long layered cut (nothing funky). The way they cut my layers is amazing it styles so easy now! I am a believer of Toni& Guy!

I started going to Toni & Guys earlier this year. I've never had a bad experience, at first I was a little nervous about going to a salon that was a little more cutting edge than I was used to, after several cuts and several rounds of color they have taught me how to manage my wildly curly and frizzy hair by changing how I wash and style at home. How to choose products that work well with my hair type, even though I'm a fan of their Curls Rock line they recommended other products. My most recent visit was the best I've had, I decided to go a little more extreme with my color and Stephanie took over. I gave her a suggestion of colors I liked and let her go at it. If you want great color see Stephanie!!!! This is a busy salon, the support staff are swamped but courteous and it can be a little noisy but it's worth it, and prices are on industry average for their PROFESSIONAL services.

This salon does not care about their customers or service. I went in with multi low & high lights I had spent a fortune on; only wanted roots touched up and SHE "bleached" all of my hair which then fell out in bunches. I cried and cried and had to spend another fortune getting fixed. DO NOT GO HERE....VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NOT PROFESSIONAL.

I've been going to Devy at Toni and Guy for the past six years. Since i was 14. I"m now 20 and a hairdresser of my own right. I've seen a lot of hairdressers while in school and at my current salon, and I truly feel like Devy is one of the best haircutters there is. Devy also has done my mom's hair, until i started doing her hair. Devy is basically my hairdresser idol. She's amazing at avant garde and very beautiful, more classic work. The only downfall is that Devy doesn't do color. And, in my opinion, the color that comes out of Toni and Guy is, for the most part, a joke. It's very plastic looking and all of the tones are off. I've also had friends that have had issues with returns. If you buy product, don't try to return it and expect anything more than a store credit. After two months, that $70 check still hasn't come for her. Don't let that reflect on Devy though. Her customer service is amazing, her general aesthetic ranges from beautiful and classy to deconstructed and edgy.

Pros: Devy is amazing. I'd follow her anywhere if I wasn't getting my hair done at my own work place.
Cons: Loud music, bad colorists, iffy customer service

Everytime I get a cut from Toni and Guy, I get rave reviews for weeks on end. The stylists are up-to-date on the trendiest cuts; I believe they are trained and retrained almost every season to help them stay on the cutting edge. I love how the stylists here don't refer to themselves as "hair stylists". Instead they prefer to be called artists. And that is what you will get- a work of art- that is if you let the stylist do her job. I don't see why gals come here to do a little trim. This is the kind of place I go to when I want something funky and playful.
I started getting my hair cut at Toni and Guy when I was living in London and have kept coming back. I find that even though I am now living in Georgia (where I find the fashion scene a bit dated and conservative), Toni and Guy still serves up the international sizzle. Keep it up!

Pros: Creativity, Knowledge of Stylists

Cons: Can get pricey if you are getting more than a cut.

I started going to Toni & Guy in Gwinnett Place mall after my salon closed and moved farther away from my house. I adore this salon, and the people who work there. I always get tons of compliments on my hair, and have to carry their business cards to hand out! The colorists are all great and have new and different ideas. I often go in and tell then to do whatever they want- and I am always happy. The haircuts have changed my hair - it is so much easier to fix. I also love their products. They have made my fine hair easier to manage, and allowed me to grow it long, wear it curly, and basically changed the way I think about hair maintenence and styling. Some stylists will even come in on their days off to color or cut my hair because I am now a "regular". I also have the freedom to see whichever colorist or stylist I desire, as the others don't get jealous or have hard feelings. I love this salon, and hope to be going there for a long time.

I have highlights and went to the salon to have my roots done, but the person let me BLOND. She colored my entire hair. I was very especific that I only wanted to color my roots. Also, she was late for our appointment, and charged me the double she said it would be. Well, first and last time in that place.

I got a horrible haircut from Toni&Guy at Gwinnett Place Mall in Atlanta. I should have known better when I walked in, since all the stylists looked like punk rock rejects... but the place was recommended by a close friend so I continued. I spent a long time talking about my hair and even brought a picture of what I wanted (long, wavy, and layered). Well, the stylist attacked my hair and basically gave me a mullet. All that was left of my beautiful long hair was a few stringy pieces sticking out from the very bottom. She obviously didn't know what she was doing, which was surprising since she was a "Director 2", supposedly Toni&Guy's most experienced (and expensive) type of stylist. I'd hate to see what the less experienced stylists would have done. Before, my hair was long, one length, and full of volume. The stylist assured me that layers would only add to the volume by removing some of the weight that was dragging my hair down. She removed weight alright. Half my hair. Now my hair is so thin you can see my neck through it.

My lesson learned is to never let someone touch your hair if you do not like the way that they wear their hair. I don't like "avant garde" hairdos, striped or green hair, so I can't trust that someone who does would style my hair in a normal way. I like beautiful hair... like Jessica Simpson, Giselle Bundchen, Jennifer Anniston, Eva Longoria. Not a hacked up haircut that looks like I did it myself.

Also, more expensive does not always mean better. I thought that I would get a better cut at a salon that charges more, but that was certainly not the case. I don't know how they justify their prices, because the other people having their hair done at Toni&Guy didn't look like they were getting good haircuts either. I didn't see one person's hair in the place that I envied.
