Really friendly staff. Have gotten two piercings here. They made me as comfortable as possible and I felt well-informed.

Awesome shop, one of the cleanest in town, if not the cleanest.
All the guys in there are friendly and know their stuff.
Talented artists, they're creative and you'll leave with a tattoo that'll make everyone jealous.

"when i went to american classic, the staff was VERY helpful in designing my tattoo (a 2-inch tall pink ribbon) and making me feel comfortable, and the price seemed to be right on. i was thrilled right after i got the tattoo; the color was great and the pain was minimal. however, they wrapped it with plastic wrap, which i later read is a big no-no. shortly after my tattoo healed"
to this lady: they do free touch-ups and pink is a color that almost ALWAYS needs touching up. it's got to do with the ink and your skin color. and plastic wrap, or "saran wrap" is perfectly safe, you wash the tattoo immediately after removing the plastic.

long story short: it was a great experience, but not great work.

I got my first done in Oct 2009 it turn out well. So I decided to return to get another but they were rude and made me feel stupid. I wanted picture of my deceased parents every picture I show him could not do it. He said he would charge me 500 dollars which I think is kinda expensive for a piece on your lower leg.

I got my nose done at American Classic and I must say that my experience was AMAZING. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. You could easily see every station the moment you walk in the door, and from anywhere that you stand. Mark did my piercing, and he explained everything very clearly, and was very professional. The ONLY time he ever got sort of short with me, or seemed irritated was when I kept moving when he was trying to put the jewelry in, and honestly I don't blame him for being that way he was just trying to get the jewelry in and he couldn't do it with me moving so much. He was just trying to do a quality job. I would most definitely go back to them for any future piercings that I may get.

I don't have any tattoo's mainly because I want to make sure that when I do get a tattoo that I'm getting something that I won't regret when I'm older. But I have a few friends who have gotten their tattoo's from here and they are all AMAZING!! So I most definitely will be going to here when I decide to get a tattoo.

I got my very first tattoo done at American Classic yesterday and had a GREAT experience! I went to Midnight Iguana first and was very unimpressed with their staff, and the facility. It seemed really sketchy and unorganized. I went to American Classic and loved it! The staff was very friendly and made me feel very at home. Also, the facility is very legit and very professional looking--- like an actual tattoo parlor as opposed to a room with seats in it like Midnight Iguana. Erik did my tattoo, and he was great! It is exactly what I wanted and would recommend it for anyone!

Okay, so I go with my friend to get her tattoo done here. The guy did a great job, everything was clean, fine. All went well. Then, when it was over and saran wrap was applied ( I understand the use of saran wrap, still okay...) he hands her a piece of paper (to the girl with the glazed look on her face from pain and adrenaline) and tells her how to go about caring for her tat. I look at the paper, it actually says "after you get your tattoo, you should go to the store and buy these items..." Excuse me?! After! But we did, we went to CVS, and before we could find the stuff she needed to wrap and tape it that night, there was blood dripping from her shoulder down her back. I'm sorry, but it was extremely unprofessional for the artist to NOT give her that paperwork and advice the day BEFORE she got the tattoo when she went in to discuss the design and pay her deposit. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the customer service from this place. That treatment was ridiculous.

American Classic Tattoo & Piercing is amazing! I've gotten all of my tattoos and piercings done at American Classic. Not only does the staff know what they're doing but they make you feel at home and welcomed. I've visited other shops with reputations for great work. American Classic is the only one to live up to the talk. Totally recommend!!

I went in to discuss a tattoo that I wanted to get for my b-day. This would be my 4th tattoo. I knew what I wanted but wasn't sure how it would look so I asked Mark if he could draw me something. He told me no and to come back when I was ready to actually get the tattoo. He was very rude. Well a few friends said to give him another shot so I did. I went back a week later and talked with the other guys in the shop and they all were very cool. Mark walked in and looked right at me and said "you again!", I have never been so embarrased and he continued to trash me in front of everyone. I finally just said thank you and walked out the door. I will never go back there and needless to say I went straight to Pain and Wonder and received great service!!

I got my first 2 tattoos done at Pain and Wonder, by John. Decided I wanted a different experience, so I headed to American Classic and that was a *dumb* decision.

The staff there asked where I had my work done, and they seemed highly resentful/snobbish towards P&W for their success. Also, I came in with a design and I had to show the artist--Mark--how to enlarge it and tweak it a bit on Photoshop, which seemed unprofessional (what kind of artist can't use PS). I also suspect they overcharged me, or at least charged more than Pain and Wonder does--they also make you pay up front which, again, made me a little wary.

And the kicker? I get the tattoo on my lower back and he wraps me in saran wrap. Saran wrap, seriously. I felt like a piece of bloody steak. Also, they don't give you samples of neosporin/zinc ointment like P&W does, which was a bit of an inconvenience.
