I've had my eyebrows waxed at several places before, and Oh! La La is the best. I have very sensitive skin, and this is almost pain free. Plus the redness fades quicker than any place I've been.

Salena has an amazing talent and skill to apply just the right amoutn of pressure to work out the rough spots and leave you feeling completely relaxed! I always walk out feeling like I'm floating!

"My lashes look beautiful and I am getting lots of compliments on them. Oh la la?. I have to brag about this, I feel like a star. Fluttery, Dark, Extra Long and they last almost a month before I go for a touch up. False lashes using a new high tech glue but they look so natural.
Laura is an artist she matched 3 different sizes for me, they look perfect. Can't tell which ones are mine. They make my eyes look huge, and they don?t affect my natural lashes at all. The process to attach individual lashes took about 2 hours. I take care of them and go back for a touch-up after three weeks (some lashes may fall out), they last about 3 1/2 months. Laura is the specialist. Love her. She also waxed and shape and tinted my eyebrows to fit my eyes better.
My own lashes are blond and short. So this is great for me I look like a star.
A happy one.

I went to Oh! la la salon and spa today for the first time and had a phenomenol experience. Gene did my hair and my hair has never looked this good in all modesty. He was extremely prefessional, and really listened to the look I wanted my hair to achieve. He paid attention to every last detail, took his time so it was just right. I loved it. The result was perfecto. Laura is the woman who specializes in the spa services and she also is fantastic. I only had a few spa services done this time b/c I really needed a hair makeover, but all the ones laura did, were perfecto. She's professional, nice, and most importantly knows what she is doing.
Everyone at the salon was very friendly and professional and I cannot wait to go back again. Thanks Ya'll!

I just want to thank my stylist Mounir and his fab assistant/ colorist Mihaela for an awesome cut and color and also the wonderful experience. Everyone at oh la-la was so nice, professional and I felt catered to every minute of my visit. I loved it :) see you in 5 weeks.

Great colorist and stylist (Mounir)...I LOVE my hair!!! Mounir looks at your color and does a great consultation. He cut my hair wet and then cut it dry five or six times until he thinks its perfect! I would definitely go back!

i'm not the type of person who usually writes these (just reads them) but after having such an amazing experience, how couldn't i? This was, to sum it up, the most relaxing, rejuvenating facial..ever. Amazing. Great products used, very relaxing atmosphere, the esthetician took her time..great facial! A+++ I left feeling so great, can't wait until next month to enjoy again!

I am so happy with my color and haircut, Mounir did a fabulous job. I don't think there is a stylist with his talent and confidence,he picked the perfect color and a haircut that did exactly what I wanted.I am getting Complements from my friends, co-workers and strangers every single day, I am so happy!!! the place is absolutely amazing, the waterfall sounds unbelievably relaxing. oh la-la is a real escape and the stuff was so much part of this great experience. Go see Mounir HE WILL MAKE LOOK FABULOUS :)

From the moment I walked in to the moment I left...perfection. I've been to a couple different stylists in this salon, and each time I leave feeling more than awesome. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else.

Worst haircut ever - besides the poodle perm I got back in the 7th grade.
This one. I showed him with two fingers how much I wanted off. Not much. He went ahead and did what he wanted. I am so short that I cried. He said "you had too much hair." really? Well, now I can't even make a ponytail.
Also, color: I asked for ash-brown; they showed me the ash-brown swatch. I was thinking "this is great," because the consult was a good 5 minutes each for color and cut. It is strawberry blonde. Not good.
Further, both he and his assistant kept disappearing for smoke breaks. He's cutting my hair and he and his hands smell like cigarettes. Not nice.
And... they poofed out my hair in the styling. Round brushed it so I looked 10 years older.
One more thing, she kept trying to sell me stuff as I was walking out. Give it a rest already!
Last thing, she looked at my tip and said flat out: how do you want to split this? I told her I didn't know and did she have any suggestions? She said "no, how do you want to split this?" I just shrugged my shoulders, ready to get out of there.
Oh, aaaaannnnd, as she's coloring my hair, she kept moving my head with her gloved hand. But she moved my head by TOUCHING MY FACE with the gloves with color on it. I had hair color all over my forehead and cheeks.

I had a facial recently at Oh la la salon in downtown Decatur and I was very pleased with the service overall. It's a quaint little place (not your typical 'production-line" type places like Natural Body or Spa Sydell) so the service was very personal. I didn't feel rushed (as I did before in other places) and Laura - the esthetician - was very nice and knowledgeable.
I will definitely go back!

Meg Hinton, of Oh La La Salon cuts my hair. It is such a relief to trust a stylist. She never cuts too much, or too little. She did a remarkable job of low-lighting my hair with 2 colors. I'll never go to another colorist.

Mounir had been doing my hair for several years before opening Oh! La La and things have just got better and better since he landed in downtown Decatur. He is hands-down the best stylist I've ever had; judging from the compliments I get, other folks agree. The other staff at Oh! La La have always been friendly and helpful as well; it's a pleasure to do business with them. I also love the salon's decor. There's nothing more relaxing than lying back, listening to the waterfall and enjoying a little aromatherapy while my color "takes." (Except maybe a massage!) The Phyto products are great, and I've had positive results with some of the cosmetics lines as well.
No, the place is not cheap. But unlike some of the other "top" salons in town, you get what you pay for at Oh! La La. The consistently great service and masterful styling are well worth the price.

(Mounir, I'm embarrassed. Thought I'd posted a review back when you first opened the salon. Better late, than never, I hope!)

I went to Oh! La La Spa and Salon to get my 2nd brazilian wax. I was extremely apprehensive because my first wax was the most unbearable pain I've ever been (I actually had to stop it half way through). But the waxer of Oh! La La was amazing. She made an effort to minimize the pain as much as possible through her very quick technique, light conversation, powder, and the wonderful ambiance of the spa. It hurt -- there's no such thing as the painless brazilian, but I do believe that was the least painful brazilian ever. And she's so friendly and comfortable, I didn't feel weird with her all in between my legs! Haha. I recommend sooooo much! WONDERFUL SPA! CHIC! FRIENDLIEST SERVICE! EVEN THE OWNER OF THE SPA GREETED ME! Don't go anywhere else. Well worth the high expense.

I was one of the first clients and I suspect they were trying to get a feel for pricing and service stragety. I must admit, they do excellent work, but I often felt taken advantage of. On a number of occasions, I was put on the spot to get a number of their other services. I understand that is their business, but I just wanted a hair cut, not microdermabrasion. I just wanted subtle highlights, not my entire hair dyed, glazed and some other things I didn't need nor, ask for. (though, it looked pretty damn good) Perhaps i'm an easy target, but I must have told them "NO THANKS" so many times. Their pricing is impuslive and inconsistant. First time, I paid $55 plus tip, then it went to $75 plus tip (for the same service) Then for the highlights, try $375, I did buy some conditioner, but jezzz, my marrige almost ended that day, my husband freaked, and really, so did I.

If you're expermental and have deep pockets, then go for it. For those of us who just want a hair cut, then check out Jaunt or Terra Metra (sp).

I have had deep tissue massages in the past. Sometimes I felt like the person was trying to go straight through my body and other times i've said to myself, where is the pressure.? I had a Deep tissue massage yesterday and it was everything that I needed. I have been having trouble with my neck and shoulders, the therapist ,Tricia, found every point that was bothering me. Its as though she has been doing massages for years, even thought she seems to be young. This spa is beautiful, the decor was amazing. The other employees were wonderful. you have their full attentions as soon as you walk in the door. When I left I called my best friend and I am taking her here as a christmas present. Thanks Oh! la la i will be seeing you guys again, very soon.

Laura is the best. She is so sweet and so genuinely concerned about you through out the whole process. I have never seen someone so passionate about waxing the perfect brow and doing a painless bikini wax. I was so impressed I even got a brazilian wax. It is virtually painless but her touch and demeanor is so comforting you almost forget what she is doing down there. Now I am hooked! Her brows shaping is meticulous and gentle; brows hold shape weeks after the visits. I would highly recommend her for any service you need. Believe me you will not be disappointed.

This spot just opened and it is FIERCE! I walked in for a cut and color, met with mounir who consulted on what would make me look best and spent 90 minutes of pure relaxation at this superb salon and spa. Its tranquil waterfall and lovely space make for an overall A++ experience. I have bounced around so many salons in atlanta, decatur and midtown but this one won my repeat business for a long time to come! Not to mention friends said its the best cut and color I have had in a while. Check it out.

My hairstylist was Gene. He is one of the Best that this city has to offer!!!!!! My cut and highlights were fantastic. Very professional upscale atmosphere and attitute. I went to mounir the other day for a hair cut and will never go to anyone but him from now on! I went on my lunch break hoping to get in and he fit me right in. No one can ever cut my hair properly but he did. he is very nice and understanding. Any girl looking for a great haircut thats awsome should call him.

Oh my god! Don't ever go here! I went to the owner thinking I would get the best service from him. Boy, was I wrong. He took out chunks of my hair leaving me with bald spots! My color didn't even touch my roots, and it was orange. He was very rude, and acted like it was my fault that he messed up my hair. Stay away!

had a great time and mounir did my hair color for the first time the way i wanted it after trying three other salons, I am very happy and he gave me also a very beautiful french diamond hair cut. loved also my facial and the products. i found a great place finally. i manage a law firm and I am going to send everyone to ypu guys. i promise because you guys also have an amazing place I love it. thank you mounir and laura.

I just moved to atlanta from new york and I met a lady with a great haircut and color so I asked her and she told me where and I looked them up and I set up an appointment. you know when you go to a place and you just feel right, the stuff was on it the service was impeccable and mounir the guy who did my hair gave me just what I needed.he is amazing and very nice he gave me the french diamond cut and some tri-lightes color the same day I had at least 15 compliments.I'm writing this to people that don't know where to go or just moved here like me, go see this guy. thank you again

I had been going to my former salon for about 3 years, but circumsatnces forced me to look for another salon. I just knew that I would never be happy anywhere else, so I was delighted to find that I like Oh! La-La so much better.

I get so many compliments on my hair style and color. I love the way that everyone at the salon is so attentive that you feel like a princess. I love the relaxing atmosphere with the soothing water fall, wonderful smells, fabulous musuc, and relaxing decor. Going to Oh! La-La is like a mini-vacation!

The Phyto products that the salon uses are the best products that I have ever used, and trust me, I have tried every brand! I had a wonderful massage at the salon, too.

Like one of the other reviewers, this is the first time that I have ever taken the time out of my busy schedule to write a review on Citysearch.

The bottom line is that Oh! La-La is simply the best.

This was the best experience I've had going to a salon here in Atlanta! It is very different than the other salons and spas I've been to. There is usually "something" wrong with every place I've been too. But this place goes above and beyond. It was a very relaxing experience. The staff was nice, and attentive to my needs at all times, which is extreemly important with me. I like to be spoiled. I definetly recomend you go here if that is what you like too. Good parking and no drama! :)

Decor and salon style is warm and relaxing. The secret to me is the attention to detail. This focus permeates your entire experience, from the reception, service, and product selection. I heard of this salon through a friend and booked a Cut and Style. I have received several compliments on my new style. Thank you Ohlala. Looking forward to my next visit. I have booked a facial and massage next time, too. Becasue of my wonderful experience I have made a point of posting this review. First time I have done this hope is works. The folks at Ohlala deserve it.
