Came here for some chips and queso and margaritas. I've had the food at Rosa but in New York and wasn't impressed at all. Very bland enchiladas. Chips are your run of the mill chips, but the Queso is like you took a brick of cheese and put it in the microwave. It's actually chewy. And after a few bites it's like a brick of cheese is sitting in your stomach. You can't dip a chip, you have to actually kind of cut a piece of it to put on your chip. Weird.

You're totally paying to be seen there, which I don't really understand either. This place is not that nice.

Pros: Location

Cons: Food is not good

This was just a horrible lunch experience. The food is way-y-y overpriced for the quality and taste. I advise anyone looking for good authentic food to please stay away from this disgraceful place of a mexican restaurant.

Pros: Nothing worth mentioning

Cons: Low quality food, broken dishes, small portions, etc..

.

I had the pleasure of going to this restaurant for lunch. You must get the Guacamole appetizer that is freshly made right at your table and served with freshly made corn tortillas. It is worth every cent. This isn't your typical cheap Mexican place. It costs more than a typical Mexican restaurant, but it is worth every cent in my opinion. The food is well prepared and very fresh. The service is professional and excellent. The entrees were great. The small details like the corn tortillas, black beans, margueritas, etc. were extremely fresh and much better than any other Mexican place that I've been to in ATL. The margueritas were strong and they didn't use that cheap marguerita mix junk. I highly recommend Rosa Mexicano if you are seeking a refreshing change from typical Mexican dining.

having lived in texas, i know authentic mexican food. this isn't exactly it, but it's upbeat and delicious nonetheless. we always get seated promptly. they make the guacamole tableside, and it's fresh and yummy. the service is good and attentive. the vegetarian stuffed peppers are so yummy and enough for two people. their only frozen margarita is pomegranate, but it's pink and good. i like going here before catching a movie at atlantic station.

Fabulous mexican food. Definitely upscale and pricier than your standard mexican restaurant. The pomegranate margaritas are fabulous! I would also highly recommend getting the guacamole that they make at your table.

This is such a great upscale mexican place. I love the white sangria--it comes in it's own pitcher!! The guac is to die for and they make it fresh at your table.

The best thing about this place is the decor. It does look really cool inside. We had decent service and the cocktails are good but you are paying for the location. Rosa Mexicano is inside Atlantic Station. The food is markedly more expensive than other comparable Mexican restaurants. Yes, they make their guac tableside but I'll pay less if they agree to make it in the kitchen. I'd go back if I was with a group already going but I'll never go just to go.

This isn't your typical Mexican restaurant...more of a creative Mexican flare lent to food than straight up burritos, flautas, etc that you normally see. Fabulous fresh guacamole made tableside. Very good, and worth the extra expense - a nice place for a splurge.

I am a big fan of cheap yet amazing mexican food and the city has many places that keep me satisfied. So I've stayed away from this higher priced spot for a long time, until now. I needed a spot close by for a movie, so I finally decided to try it. They sat us promptly (had reservation) and our server was very nice. My date and I both ordered the pomegranate margarita- he liked it, I thought it tasted a bit bland. Now I am in college, so most liquor gets an okay from me, but I had to send this back. Our waiter looked at me like I was crazy, but I still had him bring me something else. He redeemed himself when he suggested his favorites, the Tablones and the Salmon en Manchamanteles. My date had the former and I had the salmon. Both were FABULOUS. Both dishes were perfectly cooked and had a melt in your mouth texture. The portions were large, hence we skipped apps and dessert, but we were both fully satisfied, and quite impressed. We will definitely be back, simply for the great food that really is on a different level than the other mexican restaurants I frequent.

Nothing special. $12 guac made with 1 avocado, menu not very large or varied. it was okay. I prob would not go back. i could take it or leave it. Much better places around atl.

Cons: Different menu than what you get at regular latin restaurants, too expensive for what you are getting

Went to Rosa for the first time yesterday. The guacamole prepared at the table side was great. But the good food ended there. Also, the guacamole was a bit overpriced at 12$. For the entrees we had peppers stuffed with goat cheese, mushrooms and spinach, and two soft tortillas stuffed with spinach and mushrooms. Both dishes were served in a bed of mexican tomato sauce. What really got to me was not that the food was mediocre (which it definitely was) but that we were paying a heck of a lot of money for it. The entrees were about 15$ each.
The spinach in both the dishes was too dense and under cooked. The stuffed peppers were too hot and not adequately compensated for by the flavors of the stuffing. The tomato sauce was the only redeeming factor. I pretty much dunked every morsel in the sauce.

The pomegranate margaritas were good, but really, when one goes to restaurants such as this one, you expect good food, not great cocktails.

Many of the smaller , less fancy mexican restaurants in Atlanta serve far better food, and more importantly purse friendly food.

Its possible that their meat based dishes are better, but then again an upscale restaurant cannot throw in vegetarian dishes into their menu purely as an after thought.

I would have considered going back there, if the prices were reasonable.

I frequent Atlantic Station often but never tried Rosa's. So last night a friend and I decided to try something new...BAD DECISION. The fact that I payed $18 on flavorless chicken enchilladas comprised of 3 flour tortillas about the size of a saucer and dark chicken meat...no cheese, no rice, not even lettuce (however, they tried to compensate for the lack of flavor by dousing the "enchilladas" with a disgusting green creamy cheese sauce) is ridiculous! I could have went to Moe's and gotten WAY more for $6. The decor is nice, the staff is friendly and helpful, but the FOOD IS HORRIBLE. Maybe I should have chosen something else on the menu, but I would have to PAY EXTRA FOR ANY SUBSTITUTION. Maybe my expectations were just too high...

I think this place has a bad rap, maybe because it''s Atlantic Station, but I've been here several times, and always had a great time. Is it Tex-Mex? No. Is it a restaurant that trying to find it's niche in a difficult city. Yes. The margarita's are strong and tasty. The food is different, but really really good. I've tried something different every time I've gone and overall really enjoyed all of it. I've had the salmon dish, and the steak taco's and the CEVICHE!!! It's to die for. So, bottom line, it's not for everyone, but try it and decide for yourself instead of listening to everyone else.

Pros: Unique

Rosa Mexicano was an extreme disappointment. Please do not go to this place if you have parties over 4. They will not split bills but four ways. They leave you to count your bills on hands, toes, and calculators. The hostess informed us they can not pull tables together, so good luck if you want to seat 4 or more together. You must like everything you order, because management will not allow you to swap entries without paying for what you don't like and paying for a new dish. I would have much rather had 2 bean and cheese burritos, with a smile and friendlier service from Taco Bell.

My husband and I went to Rosa Mexicano for the first time last weekend. Although there was a line at the door, we had a reservation at were seated promptly at a great able. The atmosphere is absolutely breathtaking. Although it is positioned right in the middle of Atlantic Station, while inside, you feel like you're in a completely different place. With High ceilings and beautiful Mexican decor throughout, you know that you are not in your average Mexican restaurant. The pomegranate margaritas are to die for and the guacamole that is made right at your table is a must! The menu was a little intimidating at first because although they have your traditional chicken and steak tacos, the menu is filled with so many mouthwatering choices, it's hard to decide just what to get. We ended to go for something outside of the box and I ordered lump crab meat enchiladas while my husband had red snapper. Two things that you would never expect at a Mexican restaurant, but it was absolutely wonderful! All in all the service was exceptional, the food was out of this world and we will definitely be going back again very soon!

I go back to Rosa all the time - the food and drinks are great and it's a really fun and festive atmosphere. The guacamole is a must try and the frozen margarita is addictive!
The food is really authentic Mexican - and I've been to Mexico a ton of times! I used to live in California and the this is the best Mexican food I can find in Atlanta.
The other restaurants just don't compare...their tex mex...not authentic mexican!

If you like enchiladas, guacamole, and low ball margarita's served with great fanfare, and you like to pay a lot for these things, then head over to Atlantic Station (a.k.a "The Truman Show") and enjoy a meal at Rosa Mexicano. However, if you want better food at better prices, then head to any other Mexican restaurant in Atlanta.

I predict that no one will eat here more than once. After everyone who is curious about this place eats here, it will then go out of business. Until then... don't go here unless you really enjoy the overpriced plastic restaurants at Disney World. This place would fit right in there!

Our waitress said the short ribs were the best thing on the menu. If that's so, I'd hate to taste the worst. They were burnt, dry, tasteless, and $23. The Carne Asada tacos were chewy, bland, and $19. In all honesty, I've had better tacos at Moe's, Chipotle, and even Taco Bell. Any random Mexican restaurant throughout the city puts this place to shame, and costs 1/4 as much. Bad food, terrible prices, long wait, what less could you want in a restaurant? But the dude making the guacamole was nice.

Excited for Friday ladies night, we headed to Rosa Mexicano to start our evening. We were all super excited to try the "new Mexican restaurant" of Atlanta, and we had a lot of hopes for it to live up to it's hype. BIG MISTAKE to think Rosa Mexicano could stand up to any of the Mexican restaurants in Atlanta. From their sad margaritas in the orange juice glass, to their street food at fine dining prices. If they really want to pride themselves on their guacamole, someone needs to go back to cooking school--they should have done their research before attempting to bring a sorry excuse for Mexican cuisine to the mecca of the real-deal Mexican. Rosa, stay in New York--Atlanta knows the difference.

The guacamole dip is very good, but rather expensive at $12; I would definitely recommend that you order it. They say that it feeds 2, but it could easily feed 4 or 5 or more. We had a party of about 15, and everyone got tot taste it. However, the food I got, which was budin de pollo, was not very impressive. It was lukewarm when I received it, and didn't look that good either. It didn't taste like Mexican...very bland. It was just chicken with cheese and guacamole. Boring! While the ambiance is fine, there are definitely more pleasant atmospheres at much nicer restaurants. The service was so-so. When it came to the check, they would not split it among the 8 parties that we had, which became a time-consuming problem. We had to take up the tables for an hour just to figure out everyone's check.

Ive been to Atlantic Station over 100 times and always talked about eating here. So I finally did. The restaurant is beautiful located right in the middle of the Atlantic Station. You can eat and have a great view of whats going on outsite. The wait staff was nice. Service was nice and informative. The lemonade was good. But only one problem. THE FOOD MADE ME WANNA B@RF. Man, i know it was authentic mexican, but that shyt left and after taste in my mouth to where it made me wanna go get some liquor to get it out of my mouth. I ordered the Chicken Enclalada. It came with two of them, in some green sauce. That sauce smelt like shyt. The only good part of my meal was the chips. They were good, but when you got to the bottom of the basket, they started tasting like peanuts.

Beautiful restaurant!!! The aroma suckered me in. I definitely shouldn't have listened to my nose on this restaurant. I'm from Los Angeles where there are Mexican restaurants from high end to low end, good and bad there too!!. First of all the chips tasted old, and I had to ask for chips and salsa, and the salsa was nothing special. I ordered chipotle enchiladas or something, nothing spectacular and it was tastless, same thing for the rice and beans. I paid $21 for aesthetics because I could have gotten a better meal at Georgia Grill or Chipotle. It would have been alright if I were going to Taco Bell for a value meal because there you don't expect much. I am sure that there are other great mexican restaurants in Atlanta, but this wasn't one of them.

This restaurant was a major disappointment. My boyfriend and I wanted to sit down and enjoy some good Mexican food. I suspect that we were enticed by the pretty roses and the decor once we got inside. We examined the menu posted outside and knew that it was somewhat pricey but decided to go for it anyway. After waiting for nearly 5 minutes with no water or menus (5 minutes is a long time when you're thirsty), we finally had to flag down a waiter to find our assigned waiter. Once the waiter came, he took our order, and disappeared. We didn't see him again until it was time to pay the bill. The food came quickly, but the portions were small and the food was not that great. At best, the food was forgetful. I would describe Rosa Mexicano as an attempt at upscale Mexican food that failed miserably. I have never gone back since that day and will never go back. I have not talked to anyone who had a positive experience.

We decided to stop in for lunch one afternoon just to check it out. I had heard that the food wasn't that great so I really didn't have too high of expectations going into this place. All the other restraunt-y places had a wait so we decided to take our chances (how bad can it be right). Our server was great - he was the only positive aspect of the whole experience - he was really on top of things and seemed like a nice guy. We started off with a cheese dip appetizer....what we got was congealed greasy cheesy with puddles of orangie oil. I was going to get a margarita but after the cheese thing I decided that I wasn't going to spend $12 on what probably would be frozen juicy juice. I ordered a mushroom quesadilla. It was soggy, salty and really not so hot. The fountain wall was cool I guess but the decor wasn't really even that great. Should have gone to Casa Grande they are really on the same price point as Rosa Mexican is trying to compete with. Casa Grande is light years better than this place. Heck....Taco Bell is light years away from this place (ha ha).

Pros: There wasn't a wait...

Cons: There wasn't a wait because the food is a-w-f-u-l!!!

Last night?s over-all dining experience was disappointing for my husband and myself. Even though the service was friendly and attentive, the food was at best average. We started with the classic margarita, which was much too tart for our taste. Rosa should take lessons on how to make a fantastic margarita from Pozole. For the appetizer, we tried the signature guacamole, which was very good, but certainly not worth raving about. For our entrees, I had the sea bass tacos while my husband had the shrimp and steak skewer. The sea bass, while moist and flaky, tasted like it had been dipped in a vat of salt. Thank goodness the waiter kept the water flowing. My husband said that the shrimp and steak was spicy yet bland. I knew it could not have been all that great since he didn?t clean his plate. It?s a shame the food was not as good as the service. I would not recommend this place. If you are looking for good, authentic, Mexican food, save your money and head over to Nuevo Laredo instead.

Best Guacamole Ever! Great food, not your typical atlanta mexican restaurant. Love the brunch! Fun atmosphere, too.

I had lunch at Rosa Mexicano today and had some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. The guacamole was as good as the hype: full of flavor, just spicy enought and unbelievably fresh. I also tried Seared Tuna Salad, the Ensalada con Atun, which was light and citrusy. I will definitely be returning to try some of the signature cocktails at dinner.

Wow, I'm shocked that this place has the nerve to charge such ridiculously high prices. The cheapest thing on the menu was almost $17 for chicken tacos! We got the $10 guacamole, I will admit it was a large amount but it was incredibly bland. I kept having to add other sauces to each chip just to give it some flavor. The crab empanadas were good but once again over priced. I'm not cheap and don't mind spending money on a nice meal, but this place is NOT worth the money. The decor is nice and our server was great but I will never go back. Next time I want exceptional Mexican food I will stick with Nuevo Laredo, the best in town.

I"m shocked at some of the negative reviews regarding this place. I love this restaurant. It's some of the best authentic MEXICAN food (NOT TEX-MEX) that I've ever had. And I've been to Mexico and California. To me everything is superb, the tacos, the quesadillas, the Pollo de Pudin and a lot of other Mexican foods. The style even of the tacos is Mexican, not Tex-Mex. I haven't ever had a bad meal here and I go almost weekly. The staff has always been gracious and very considerate even when the place was totally 100 percent packed.

The decor is inviting, romantic and charming. Totally a classier type place than your basic neighborhood taco stand.

THE CON would be for lunch and dinner, I had the exact same meal, except at dinner I paid $6.00 more for the entree. Lunch is definitely a better option.

Great decor and the best guacamole and margaritas in the city! Wait can be long so I would make a reservation! Best tortilla soup I've ever had, and the duck appetizer is amazing!
The entrees I've had were really flavorful - be prepared to be stuffed when you leave.
Pricier than most mexican, but well worth it!

My boyfriend and I were very excited to visit Rosa Mexican for the first time the other night. We were seated promptly, and our waitress made us some of their guacamole. It is very good guacamole, but is not really exceptional or anything. Things went downhill from there. Our waitress just disappeared for a long time. She forgot our drink order. We had to call her over to our table to ask for it again. She was nice, but extremely inattentive. Our drinks were never refilled, and she rarely appeared throughout the rest of the time we were there. My boyfriend ordered the Filete des hongos, which was alright. The steak was good, but it was drowned in the cream sauce. I ordered the chicken tacos with the jicama slaw. The chicken tacos were truly just below average. The jicama slaw was very good at least. It took forever for our waitress to reappear to give us our check, and even longer to return with it. Overall, I'd say some of the food is good, but it is definitley overpriced. Wouldn't mind paying that much for something of better quality. Service was pretty awful. The WORST part though, is that I GOT REALLY SICK after leaving the restaurant. I have never had food make me so sick in fact. All in all, NOT worth returning. AT ALL.

After having a really high recommendation from a friend, my friends and I will NOT be returning to Rosa Mexicano nor will we recommend it to anyone. We have never been treated so rudely by the hostess staff or managerial staff. They refused to seat our group until all arrived, which I understand, however, then would not even seat us together. Our tables were side by side and they could easily have been joined. Now, understand, there were several (at least 3 other parties, 2 larger than our's) who were seated together and we observed the wait staff actually pulling their tables together.) The restaurant seemed to have plenty of staff and there were quite a few empty tables throughout the time we were there. We waited for 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged by a waiter once we were seated. The waiter was fine after this point and food was OK. Have had much better Mexican elsewhere but I think the rudeness of the hostess and manager left a really BAD taste in our mouths. Such a shame - the guacamole was actually pretty good. Highly overrated and I hate to say it, but I hope you don't waste your time or money.

Aweful. Went expecting interesting food and atmosphere. Ended up with lousy service, lousy food, and really lousy atmosphere. It's nothing more than a dressed-up, commercialized, casual dining restuarant. Better off going to Nuevo Laredo for Tex Mex and Nava for interesting cuisine.

I had difficulty deciding what to order, too many delicious dishes. Never a bad thing. Lots of unique flavors. The pomegranate margaritas are a must, a bit pricey but very strong. The freshly-made guac was phenomenal. I ordered the carne asada, the jicima slaw is yummy with raisins and pineapple. My date ordered one of the holiday specials, lobster enchiladas. The sauce on the enchiladas completely overpowered the lobster. Less sauce would have been better. Our server could have been more attentive. Our drinks were long empty and our plates had been taken away before he asked if we?d like another cocktail. Also, we had to ASK for the dessert menu. Try the sorbets, the cucumber mint was my favorite (strange sounding, but wonderful).

We were just at Rosa Mexicano this past weekend, on the night of the lighting of Atlantic Station's Christmas Tree. Rosa Mexicano is has a great atmosphere. The waterfall wall with divers is very cool. And the service at the bar was exceptional, but that's about the extent of the good things to say. The food was ULTRA salty - even the chips and the salsas. Our service was very poor. Our waiter left our drinks empty, including our waters (and with all that salty food that really slowed down the eating), so by the time we were ready to go - our watier no where in site, we had the credit card out and ready before we even saw the check.

Neat place to go, but stick to the bar area - eat dinner some place else.

Bed beans were bland. Crab empanadas were great. Service was bizarre. Waiter had strange lingo such as, "Are we enjoying?" Just speak (plain-ol') English, please. The manager came by to explain that our food was delayed because it was delivered to the wrong table and had to be prepared again. (I guess the others took a bite before sending it back.) I just would have expected after that they would offer either a free appetizer while we waited or a reduced bill. Another time, I had the enchiladas suizas, which were delicious. Desserts are so good too.

The restaurant just needs to remember that they are in a service industry, and if they want people to come back, they need to treat people better.

This was all of our first time at this restaurant, and we all enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The bill had not been split, so we all paid cash for the $67.00 bill. A minute after the waitress picked up the bill a gentleman came up to the table and asked us how out meal and service was. We all agreed everything was fine, and then he said quite loudly, "I figured you received substandard service since you left a substandard tip." Those were his exact words and all of us at the table paused on how rude of a comment this man just made. I then asked if he was the manager, he said he was, and then let him know that was very rude of him to say and let told him to give us the bill back. Once we had the bill, we counted a total cash amount of $77.00. We all though that was an appropriate tip so we all quickly left pretty angry at the manager's comments. I will not go here again unless it goes under new management and lowers its prices.

Went to Rosa last night for the first time, they practically force you to order their expensive guacamole, which is good, but everything that followed was HORRIBLE! Greasy, cold and bland food and completely idiotic service, never again will I waste my money on this place. Too many other good restaurants to waste my time!

I went to Rosa Mexicana with another couple and my boyfriend and found it to be an OK experience. We were with friends and all was fine until we paid the bill. Apparently, our mediocre waitress thought she was deserving of more than what we tipped her. The manager came over to our table and asked how the service was. We told him it was fine and he proceeded to tell us that the tip was lower than what is expected and wanted to know why. If he was concerned about service he should have watched what he said. He was completely out of line. A tip is something that is given and not required. When we told him that it was rude on his part to harass us of $2 he smuggly disregarded our argument. Go here ONLY if you're desparate! There are far better Mexican restaurants around that are lively and authentic. The place was badly decorated and too quiet. The food was alright. The service was alright until the manager bullied us into giving the waitress more money. Stay away! This place makes itself out to be something more than it is. It's not an experience, it's a rip off.

Don't go there; you'll be wasting your time. My husband and I went yesterday, everything seemed nice. We sat down and NO One came to take our order. A few waiters passed by and we didn't even get water. We waiting for 15 minutes till be walked out.

We are visiting from Miami, FL and everyone in Atlanta has been so nice upset for Rosa Mexicano.

The worst. The absolute, most over-priced food. Go to Taco Bell, yes, it s#cks too, but at a much nicer price. You gotta be a lost tourist to end up at Rosa Mex, sorry this is a better city than than this out-of-town, chain resturant might suggest.

As previous folks have said, the guacomole appitizer is amazing, drinks are great, but when it comes down to the main dishes, they were a major disappointment. Both my wife & I were both dissatisfied when we left. Overpriced, & too eclectic are the best ways to explain this place. if you are looking for authentic mexican, steer clear of Rosa Mexicano, if you are looking for New York City's take on south of the border food that is overpriced and lacking Authenticity, this is your place. Overall, not impressed, probably won't go back unless it's just for drinks and guacamole before a movie next door.

I was really excited to try Rosa Mexicano because I had read such great reviews in the newspapers here in atlanta......unfortunately Rosa was a complete and utter dissapointment. Yes...the guacamole and the margaritas are good...but that is about it. The food was terrible I ordered the chicken enchiladas with mole....it was practically inedible, the chicken had not been prepared correctly and there were bits of skin and tendon in the mix. The rice, oh the rice.....probably the biggest dissapointment ...how can you screw up rice???.....well...you can if you add a ton of cloves to it! The clove flavor was overpowering and it was completely inedible as well. On to the portion sizes....my portions were of average size, the rice and beans came in cup size containers however my husbands sides of beans and corn came in what looked like shot glasses and on top of that the beans were ice cold! I dont know if you could even consider them a side! The service was slow and inattentive - our waitress messed up our order twice. The decor is just bizarre to put it mildly. Please, please take my advice DO NOT GO HERE!! There are so many wonderful restaurants in Atlanta to try you should not waste your time here. I do have a recommendation if you want some AWESOME mexican food....go to NUEVO LAREDO on Chattahoochee Ave...it is by far the best mexican food in the Atlanta area!

It's good. But not great. I had reservations for two at 9pm on a Friday. We arrived a few minutes early, but had to wait almost 20min past our reservation time for seating. The bar was packed, but the margaritas, although pricey, were worth shouldering up to the bar. Additionally, the decor is on the cusp between trendy and tacky (I envision a rennovation within a few years).

The service was mediocre. Although our waiter was extremely polite, he seemed to be only somewhat familiar with the menu. When we ordered 2 sample flights of tequila (a flight is a sample of 3 tequilas from either the blanco, reposado, or anejo menu), we received 3 blanco shots and 1 anejo shot instead of 1 flight each of the anejo and the blanco. We were charged for 4 shots also, despite communicating the error to the waiter several times. However, he did adjust our bill for us inthe end.

The food was good, but once again, not great. My date's shrimp and my duck were tasty, but not the culinary treats that the restaurant seems to purport. On a positive note, the tableside guacamole is fantastic!

All in all, I was not very impressed with this restaurant. It definitely does NOT live up to the hype. I could see myself going again only if I was already in Atlantic Station and felt like some guacamole and a margarita. Perhaps in a year or so the restaurant will settle into it's own identity, but for now there are many FAR better options for Mexican or Mexican inspired food in Atlanta.

This is not your usual chips and salsa Mexican that most Atlantans expect. I've been five times, and have been treated like royalty. Usually sit in the bar area, and start with the pomegrante margarita. What an original. Then move on to the tableside guacamole, order extra hot. Mini warm tortillas and wonderful salsas, especially the verde. Favorite entree is the boneless short ribs of beef. Melt in your mouth. I sit and watch the uneducated wonder where the salsa and chips are, with their two to three screeming unruly kids in tow. This is for adults. Very Mexico city gourmet. If you like great inventive cuisine, you will love this. Trust me, I see them wonder in and complain. Totally uneducated, not to mention they really can't afford to eat in a upscale establishment. Viva! Rosa's!

We were a party of 8 and made reservations a week in advance. We originally were going to be a party of 12 and they said they had to seat us in 2 separate tables, that they could not accommodate us on one table. As it turns out 2 couples couldn't make it anyway, so we were able to sit together.
The tableside guacamole was great and we ordered several other appetizers which were all pretty good. I don't drink, but my friends said the margaritas were very good. All of our entrees were not good or just so so. Mine was barely lukewarm and very bland. And it took so long for us to get our entrees that we didn't want to risk sending it back and wait another 45 minutes to get our food back! Service was poor...our server didn't check on us very often. Dessert was good, except they mixed up on one of the orders and brought it out 15 minutes later when everyone else was finished with his/hers! I may go back just for the guacamole and desserts.
