I ate at this restaurant a few years ago. The food was delicious, if not a bit pricey, but the whole experience was really cool. The waiters walk around with different cuts of meat skewered on metal and wait until you signal for the next

Fogo is amazing, another recommendation from my girlfriend that lives in buckhead, you will not find better service, or more delicious food in the area. Tip- skip breakfast and lunch, it's a huge buffet!

We wanted to try something different for a special occasion, and we weren't let down. Yes, this is on the expensive side, but it was well worth it. Come with a big appetite.

I've always heard stories about Fogo de Chao since I've been living in Atlanta. All good tales of smorgasbords of meat, sides, and cheesy bread. I was nonetheless taken aback when my girlfriend and I ventured there on the day of love, Valentine's Day. It was very busy, luckily we made reservations weeks in advance and were able to be sat immediately. When seated we were given a play by play of how the restaurant works. You have unlimited reign of the well stocked salad and cheese bar. To signal when you're ready for something a bit more heavy on your stomach, there is red/green card on your table. When you're prepared to experience the fine cuts of steak, pork, and chicken, simply turn the card over to the green side and unleash hell. You will be bombarded with "meat runners" brandishing skewers of hot, sizzling, meat for your gastrointestinal pleasure. The top sirloin steak is one of the best seasoned pieces of meat I've ever had. I literally said, "Oh my God!" at first taste. The ride did not stop there. Turn the card to green again for bacon wrapped chicken and fillet mignon medallions. My stomach was in meaty bliss. And lastly, the Lombo, a parmesan crusted succulent cut of pork so good, you can eat it for then entire meal. Couple this with sides of garlic mashed potatoes, plantains, and cheese bread will leave you feeling more than full. But we can't forget about desert. I ended my meal with a slice of key lime pie so rich and decadent, I told my girlfriend that I needed a minute to compose myself. It was that good. All and all, Fogo de Chao is not an experience for the faint of heart. This restaurant is fast paced with meat runners swooping in all over the place to deliver some of the best meat you've every tasted. Leave your diet at the door and quell any inkling of having fish or seafood. Fogo de Chao is about meat, plain and simple. A culinary experience for the ages.

I've been to a few of these Brazillian steak houses and Fogo is the best thus far. Their meats are so tender, juicy, and just plain yummy. They are really fair when it comes to children too. For those who aren't big meat eaters but come to a place like this, the salad bar is nothing to scoff at. I love the palm hearts and artichokes they serve up. Seasoned red & yellow bell peppers, cheese, breads, endives, giant asparagus, procuitto and more... It is expensive, but I think it's worth it.

OK. I'm gonna shoot you straight!!!!

If you are a meat lover, you will really enjoy yourself. I'm certain if there is a such thing as having had a previous life, I was a T-Rex. I LOVE MEAT and good food, but I didn't enjoy all of the selections of meat. I really enjoyed the Bottom Cut Sirloin, Parmesan Pork, Filet and Bacon-wrapped Chicken. I was surprised that I did not like the Ribeye as much, since it's one of my favorite steaks and I was totally disappointed with the Pork Ribs and sausage (which I looked forward to the most) and I just didn't enjoy anything about the lamb.

My conflict in eating at any "all you can eat" is that I want to eat far beyond my normal amounts to feel I've gotten my monies worth. Here, considering the cost per person, I attached an extra stomach. At the same time I didn't want to waste the meats I sampled but did not enjoy, so I was stuffed long before I could enjoy a second round of my favorites.

The staff from valet and hostesses to the servers and bartenders were simply amazing and wonderful people, very eager to make your experience the best ever. My trouble with Fogo is the side dishes offered during our meal (only three) and the unbelievably RESTRICTED selection of the salad bar. It was probably the smallest "bar" I've ever seen and many of the items filling it had nothing to do with my type of salad. Although I didn't really care because I came primarily for the meat, my wife does not eat meat and came for the salad. Many reviews spoke highly of the salad bar being wonderful, but there must have been another that we did not see during our visit. You don't expect a $25 salad bar to be this limited, especially when you could go to Ruby Tuesday's or even Golden Coral and have a great salad for a third of the price.

I love having both my meat and sides dancing on my taste buds together, so to only be offered mashed potatoes, fried corn meal and fried plantains was disappointing. If there were other choices, we were never told about them nor did we see any other table receive something different. All in all it was a great EXPERIENCE, and while I would probably eat here again, it won't be any time soon. There are many restaurants I enjoy for far less that what it costs experience Fogo.

We recently went to Fogo in Atlanta while we were there on vacation. I had been told by a friend that I had to check it out and boy was she right! The food was amazing and there was so much of it! The salad bar was filled with items that are not normally found on a salad bar and was so yummy! The meats were all cooked perfectly and the sides were also wonderful. We had the signature desert, the papya cream and words can't even describe how good this was! The price is very expensive, to me anyway, but the food, service, and experience was well worth it. The service that was provided by the waiters was also great. I never wanted for anything!

I love, love, love this place. The salad bar is amazing! It is loaded down with bread, cheeses and veggies. But don't fill up on all of that because you have to save room for all of the DELICIOUS, all you can eat meat. The prime rib is the best! I would certainly recommend this establishment if you are looking for great food and superior service!

If you have ever been to a really nice restaurant, then stared unknowingly at the menu, then this place is for you. Why pick one thing, when you can get some of everything. They walk around with huge skewers of meat and will keep giving you different varieties and cuts of meat until you make the stop. You have a little card that is either Green for "Give me more" or Red for "Let me digest".

All of the food is amazing. Be careful not to fill up on the salad bar, which alone is worth the $50 price tag.

Okay so I went there, and I was impressed. I got seated by the fire, which was a lovely delight to accent our meal. It was me and my girlfriend, on a busy busy Saturday night. I expected great food, as I've heard from all my friends that this place has awesome meat. But what I soon realized, is that when you describe a place to people, you tend to focus on what they offer, and what their best meals are. You tend to miss out on telling your friends or coworkers what the service is like. The service at Fogo De Chao was impeccable. I mean truly outstanding. I was not only impressed but I could only wish that if people worked like they did at Fogo everywhere in the United States, the US would be the best place on Earth! My server had his hands full, with seemingly like 8 or 9 tables, and you could see him truly care. He would eye a last bite of a plate, and not just walk over to the plates to offer a new plate, he would run. Literally the guy/kid (he looks pretty young) would eye a soon-to-be empty plate and run to replace it.
What truly made it an experience, was when I said that I like lamb, and he asked me in a sincere voice, which I'd like to try first, the leg of lamb, or the lamb chop! I said the lamb chop sounded good, and he didn't just stop there, he asked me how I liked it, well done, medium, I told him how I liked it and Woof! I felt like I was a King giving an order! His pace was very fast, checking the other tables quickly, but then you see him swing by the corner by the salad bar, and whole heartedly start speed walking (as fast as some people can run), just to get me Mint Sauce to try. He said it goes well with the lamb chop and leg of lamb, and that he thought I'd enjoy it. I didn't even ask for it lol! I am a lambchop lover now! and LambChops at Fogo are unbeatable, especially with the mint sauce! My girlfriend is so impressed by the friendliness of not just our server, but most of the gauchos as well. Some seemed in a hurry, but others were awesome because they'd run, and as they were within 1 foot of the table, they'd act like they were just gently gliding, and slowly offer the meat to us. It was awesome service. So if you go there, have the cremebrulee (one of Matt's highly suggested recommendations) for dessert, and ask for some mint sauce for the lambchops. And dig in. And ask for Matt- I've never had a server like that, but then again maybe every server is that good there. He's the first one I had. I usually don't ask for a guys name at the end of a meal, but he was just that awesome, that I have to brag about him. My girlfriend and I loved it, and will definitely be back. Thanks Fogo De Chao.

Each and every time I come to Atlanta, this is on the top of my list of places to go. The service is amazing, and only surpassed by the quality of the food. The salad bar could stand as a meal on its own, but why would you stop there, when the smell of the grilled meat is irresistable? From the chicken wrapped in bacon to the baby lamb chops, each meat presented by the gauchos is flavorful and filling. Make sure you're hungry, as it is the ultimate "all you can eat experience". I could sustain life indefinately on just the lamb chops alone.

Fogo is easily the best food I've ever eaten. The Brazilian style meats are cooked over open fire to PERFECTION. The meal is decadent and perfect for a first date, second date and every date if you can afford it. The meats are five star quality meats, this is not Golden Coral, it's a five-star resturant that feeds you until you surrender, and believe me you will surrender. When you are served, you can tell them how you like it... if the meat is too rare you can tell them 'well done' and they will make it for you. They will prepare every cut to your satisfaction, no matter how many times you ask them to bring it more or less well done. This place is a meat lover's paradise! Why pay $40-$50 for a 9 oz. filet when you can go to Fogo and get every cut they have for a coupla bucks more?
**The service is amazing, every employee in the establishment will serve you hand and foot.
**The food is DEVINE
**The place leaves nothing more to be desired, if Fogo De Chao does not please you, nothing can.
Tips...

**Don't fill up on the salad bar, you're not really paying for the lettuce
**Go with the regular meats, stay away from the 'Garlic meats'
**The best beef cuts are: Picha?a, Bottom Serloin, Filet,
**Take the lambchops medium rare
**Try everything on the menu once, but don't eat the stuff you don't like, just have them take it away

**THE MOST IMPORTANT THING**
**ASK FOR EVERYTHING YOU WANT, IT WILL MAKE THEM HAPPY TO PLEASE YOU**
**DON'T BE SHY, YOU ARE THERE FOR THE EXPERIENCE, DON'T CHEAT THEM OUT OF THE OPPERTUNITY TO PROVIDE THE BEST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR YOU.**

Fogo is easily the best food I've ever eaten. The Brazilian style meats are cooked over open fire to PERFECTION. The meal is decadent and perfect for a first date, second date and every date if you can afford it. Compare Fogo De Chao to Texas De Brazil. Claim to be the same, but Texas De Brazil is much better and worth the money. Fogo De Chao is more expensive, meat all taste the same and salad bar nothing special. Service was good although it seems they were always in a hurry to beat the other servers to your table. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. If you are looking for a great meal then drive past Fogo De Chao and find a Texas De Brazil!

I have been twice to Fogo de Chao for my birthday and then for my husband's. I've been impressed every time. The service is very attentive and the food is great. Be prepared to leave with your belly full. On my husband's birthday, we unfortunately had a car accident when we were only 5 minutes from the restaurant. Knowing that Atlanta PD would be a while, I called the restaurant and asked if they could hold our reservation. This was on a busy Saturday night. The restaurant was so accommodating and told us they'd seat us whenever we could get there. I was very impressed. I'll definitely be back!

My husband & I ate here last night for his birthday. Although I'm a vegetarian this was one of my best dining experiences. There was plenty of options for me on the salad bar (chick peas & potato salad was my fav) as well as the potatoes, bread and bananas that are brought to the table. My husband enjoyed all of the meats served but his favorites were lamb chop and filet mignon. Be sure to try their Limeade, great non-alcoholic beverage. The best part about this restuarant is the service. The waiters were very attentive to our needs, we never had to ask for anything. My husband left stuffed & happy!!!

The food at Fogo de Chao is great, but make sure only to go if you have the appetite to eat all those delcious meats. The salad bar was very delicious and had a variety of items that were also delicious. The lemonade there is slammin. The very best I have ever had. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive...almost too attentive. The never let my glass get empty. It is very expensive, but the food was delicious!!

This is by far the best Brazilian Steakhouse! I highly advise you to avoid trying to cut costs by going to knock-off Brazilian steakhouses. You will be disppointed! My husband and I have gone at least 8 times and have ALWAYS been very satisfied with Fogo. Service is impeccable. The food is seasoned to perfection. You can't go wrong with Fogo! I was prompted to write this review today, because my husband and I just left another so-called Brazilian restaurant extremely upset to say the least. We never have to put any seasonings on our food when we dine at Fogo. Salt & Pepper didn't help this steakhouse. We were trying to avoid the Buckhead traffic due to special events this weekend. We were in the Perimeter Mall area and he was craving meat! We're still kicking ourselves that we didn't just opt for another day since we couldn't do Fogo's.

It's awesome! You can get as much beef, chicken, lamb, or pork that you want all for one price. If you love filet mignon then you can get as much as you'd like. If you like lamb also, then you can get as much of that too! It's a never ending feast until you are satisfied. Service is outstanding. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and taken to our table. There were already two waiters at our table ready to pull our chairs and greet us as soon as we sat down. Through out the dinner I felt as if there was always someone there to answer any question or take care of any thing that I wanted. All around, my favorite restaurant to go to!!! You can't go wrong at this place.

I've been hearing about this restaurant for a while now, so I went with my date. The atmosphere was very nice, the salad bar was great, and the whole coaster flipping thing was brilliant. People walking around with the meat all had some kind of exotic accent, and I even liked that.
Among all the selections of meat, there's three that stood out the most, and they were the Picanha, Fillet Mignon, and the Alcatra. The rest were.....great but not as great as these three. (It's personal preference, mind you.) Their side dishes like the roasted banana was excellent as well. They have a very nice wine list, and I highly recommend having wine with the food, cause it's really rich and greasy, and if you don't have something like wine to wash it down with, you won't get your money's worth.
One negative thing I have to say about the place is the service. I don't know. maybe I dressed too casually. but our waiter was.......always busy with something else. You know that trick they pull on you--"if I don't look at them, I don't have to serve them" thing? He was pulling it all night. Even our payment was handled by another waitress. We even thought they had a shift change until he walked passed us, and served another family at another table. Maybe If I take some Louis-Vuitton bag, or wear Jimmy Choo shoes with lots of make-up next time, he'll pay more attention.
Other then that, it was great!!

Fogo de Chao is the best all you can eat brazilian steakhouse I've been to. The food is great, the meat is fresh, just make sure you're in the mood to eat non-stop. More important, the service is great. I would highly recommend eating at the Fogo de Chao.

I went with my husband who likes meat, he loved it, I've had salad bar, it was good, but I don't think it was worth $20, however $50 that my husband spent on meat was worth it...

Sure, there are many Brazilian steakhouses around by now, but this one tops every one I've tried by a long shot. The best cuts and quality of meat, the salad bar is incredible, lunch is a very good deal, and the atmosphere is one of the best for such a place. If you go to one Brazilian steakhouse, choose this one. Some other fine choices in town, but this one outshines them all.
