If you have this company and are planing to switch to a different one (which i recomend), make sure that you are at the end of the cuarter cycle , otherwise they make you pay for the next one, and you end it up with two waste companies, this people are waste.

I signed up with this company because their prices were a little cheaper; however, I would rather pay a fortune for trash service than use this company.

When I called my local waste providers to get pricing, I found that Allied was the least expensive. Great! My budget is tight and I thought how much difference can there be in quality of garbage removal? Well I'm not sure because they have yet to pick up my garbage almost three weeks now since service was set up. I was told to just sit it out at the curb until I was brought a container and it would be picked up. The garbage was never picked up and when I arrived home from work there was trash all over my yard as well as neighbors yards from animals.This is embarassing! I called to cancel the service. I was told it would be 4-6 weeks for a refund. I cant wait 4-6 weeks for my money back. I need service now. I was assured that someone would be by. Never happened!!

We are NEW customers. We requested service start around the end of June first of July and we have YET to get an on time service. We were told our service date was to be Friday. For several fridays our bin was out and we have returned home in the evening to find our trash still on the curb. We did however receive a bill for June when we were told that the service was quaterly and the $58 we paid would cover us until September. In the month since service start we have only had pick up once and that was on a Monday after we called and complained. We have had to take our trash to the waste site ourselves because it was piling up. I wish someone would explain what is going on because I as well as several of my neigboors would like to know why we are changing our service provider.

Three (3) weeks ago, they did not pick up garbage. I called on scheduled day and it was 2 days before they made the pick up. Two (2) weeks ago, same scenario. At this point I even spoke with a supervisor who assured me it would not happen again. Last week the same scenario. Wednesday is my pick up day. On Thursday morning I called and complained to a supervisor who assured me they would send a truck out that day. Did not happen. I called Friday morning, same story. Did not happen. They were closed over the weekend. On Monday, I called and they assured me a truck would be out that day - did not happen. On Tuesday I called, same story and a truck did arrive (A WEEK LATE). My garbage is now piling up. They just don't care. I just found a new company to service my account and I called Allied to cancel and they want me to re-consider. Yeah, right.

Allied Waste provides poor service--they frequently spill some of your trash on the street and in the lawn and they leave the platic bins in the street. They don't respond to customer complaints. The 4th quarter of 2008 they raised their rates by a whopping 50%. My bill increased from $63.32 to $96.60. Due to this large increase they sent a letter that this was necessary because Gwinnett county might not select them to be a provider for their clean and beautiful program in 2009. Get that, a rate increase of 50% for something that MIGHT happen in the future. AVOID ALLIED WASTE AT ALL COST.
