I like Dr. Duhon, because he takes the time to make sure that I understand what he tells me. He treats me like I have a brain. He talks TO me, not AT me. He doesn't charge an arm and a leg for an office visit either. He makes sure whether you have insurance that will help with prescriptions, before he writes one for an expensive medicine. If you don't have prescription help he will give you samples, if he has any. If that isn't appropriate he will try to find a medication that doesn't cost as much but still works as well.

I can recommend this place with conviction because I have seen all of the Dr.'s, Nurse Practitioners & Physician's Assistants here. All 3 of the men here who treat you are very professional & courteous.

I especially have always been impressed by their ability to listen well. A good bedside manner goes a long way in making a great Dr. (or NP or PA). These guys have it where it counts & they never make you feel stupid or intimidated (as a woman), when you are describing a sensitive problem or issue. They also never make you feel rushed or like you're a number. They treat you like a person. They also try to provide you with lots of samples which saves you money.

I was very sad when my insurance didn't have them listed anymore & I had to seek out another Dr's office to get coverage on my HMO. If our insurance ever gets them back on the list, you'd better believe I'll be back in their patient list.

I've never had a problem with the front office either. Getting in for appointments is not usually a problem. They will squeeze you in same day where possible, (although they are busy because they are so good.) Maybe the only downside is sometimes having to wait a while to see someone, but it's worth it to me to receive good treatment & care.

The front office takes your co-pay at the time of visit & files insurance for you. After your insurance pays them, if there's anything left, they bill you, but they try to avoid billing as much as possible because this keeps costs down.

I should also mention there is ample parking outside & even a pharmacy attached to the building in case you want your meds in a hurry.

PROS: Great attention to patients, reasonable fees, med samples, pharmacy on site
CONS: Sometimes have to wait because they are in such demand, but worth it
