I brought my daughter here until she could swim in the big pool. The instructors are usually just teenagers that are on the swim team. They are always nice. If you want basic learn to swim and get comfortable in the water this is a good cheap place to go. If you are looking for breast stroke and freestyle this is not the place to go. I think their goal is for the kids to learn to not drown. The facilities are old but still work fine.

took my 12 month old for swim lessons. i liked the seperate baby pool, and the teacher was nice. wasn't very enthusiastic. place itself is old and dingy, it has a musty small as soon as you walk in the door and expecially in the changing room. the price was reasonable though. may or may not take her back

My daughter, 4 years old, took lessons at Swim Atlanta this past summer. She started in the Preschool 1 sessions and enjoyed it.

Once she approached the higher Preschool lessons, I felt they did not really focus on technique but just did the usual routine. They said she could tread water for 30 second, but she could barely do it for 10 seconds! I stopped lessons at Swim Atlanta and moved her to Dynamo.

The instructors were nice but didn't seem to have much passion for what they did. I will not be taking her back here for lessons.

They have a great separate pool so the little ones aren't distracted by the activity in the larger pool. The facilities are old and a bit dingy, but the teachers are nice and make my child feel at home.
