I really like this facility. They take reservations (unlike Piedmont Park) and it is in a beautiful area surrounded by trails, a golf course, etc. There are always happy healthy people jogging around with their loved ones, friends, or pups.

Also, if you are in the market for lessons, they have pro's there that you could book through the pro shop. Unlike many other facilities, their pro shop is (currently) really tiny and they don't have a store to purchase items (read below, as they most likely will in the near future).

It is just a really good energy to encounter and intriguing that, in the middle of Buckhead, this beautiful park is tucked away and you would never know how close you are to the traffic and fumes.

The "Tennis Center" itself is sort of old and funny-looking (you'll be like, "Is this where I am supposed to go to meet my opponent?!?"), but they are in the works to build a 4000 square foot semi-underground building, which will help to conserve energy for them.

One last cool story- Last time I was playing there, I saw Andre 3000 walking by my court (evidently, (per him) he lives close to there and (I am guessing) is health concious too? So, I ran off the court and got his autograph on a tennis ball!!! You would never believe it, but (per him) it was his first tennis ball ever signed! I was ecstatic and offered for him to come play tennis as I have extra racquets, though he politely declined.

Happy tennis playing! Have a blast and good luck!

The facilities here are fine, but their 'reservation' system is terrible. The last two times I called ahead to make reservations, I was told there was no record of them (and therefore no court available) when I arrived with my opponent. I have never had this problem with any other tennis center in Atlanta. For this reason, I only make a reservation at Chastain if everywhere else in Atlanta is booked!
