I have a MINI Cooper and was looking for a service center near home and less expensive than a dealership. A friend recommended these guys and it was great.
I needed my transmission serviced and my usual non-dealer service guy didn't have a lot of experience with MINIs and said to take it to the dealer, which I definitely did not want to do, too expensive!
Phuong, at #1 Decatur Pro Auto Repair, took the time to discuss the service I wanted done (flush and fill the transmission) and was familiar with the make/model of my car. They were honest about the time it would take and cost of the service. Best of all, they didn't try to tell me I needed a bunch of other things done to the car, like the dealers like to do.
This shop is quite busy, which I think is a sign of good work AND that they don't need to fleece everyone. They're just there to do a quick and efficient job.
Overall, I went away feeling I had gotten the service I paid for and hadn't been taken advantage of, which is something I am wary of in the auto service industry, being that I am a female.
