I love love love this store. Anyone that comes in from out of town gets treated to a visit. Rita is so funny and yes, she is different and colorful in a great way. I have never seen her in a bad mood, although she has gotten me out of one on many occasions. She does compare some of the items to Neiman's and Saks, probably because she is correct, that is where you would be able to buy some of them (especially the yummy furs. So far I have purchased two at bargain basement prices. I would never be able to afford one were it not for this store). Sometimes I think the prices are a bit high, but usually they are willing to negotiate. Like any antique store anywhere, you have to look sometimes to find that 'diamond in the rough' however that is what makes shopping there so much fun. It isn't a place that you can run into for five minutes, so make sure to plan plenty of looking time. I agree with the poster who commented on getting complimented on her purchases from FFAQ, anything I have ever gotten from there gets commented on any time I wear it. If you don't have a sense of humor and a willingness to have fun shopping, then I would suggest this is not the store for you and you stick to someplace normal and boring like Kohl's. If you want an experience while shopping, then make a beeline, you won't be disappointed

I read the other review and have to tell you she is dead wrong. Yes the sales staff is colorful, but it's fun in a good way. I have been back many times and am always surprised at the wonderful finds. Whenever I wear a peace of jewelry, purse or clothing from there I get compliments. It's a great place to find an outfit for a formal occasion at a very reasonable price, but most importantly, you won't be one of many wearing the same thing. Also, I have found wonderful things for my home that again, I couldn't find anywhere else. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Check it out.

Yelling at each other like they live in a trailer park...this husband, wife and mother team are cut throat sales people with and ax to grind. I had relatives in town and thought I would stop in to show them the quaint Shops on the Square in Marietta. While shopping at Fit for a Queen, the daughter was yelling "Maw"...and "You know what I mean" every 5 minutes. If that wasn't enough the throw back husband from the 70's is yelling at what appeared to be his mother in law. Totally embarrassed, I turned to another individual in the store working. She appeared to be a former night creature that should have not been allowed out during daylight hours. This is as close to the trailer park as it gets. The rejected garage sale, Salvation Army store inventory is deceiving under low lights and constant badgering of the sales lady in black tights. She was quick to offer 50% off and compares her prices to that of Neiman's and Saks. This is not an experience I wish to have again on an empty stomach.
