.

I have to preface this review with the fact that I know very little about West African food. My fiancee is from Liberia. We went here on a Thursday night. It was quiet with a few people coming in to take take out but few diners. The first thing you notice about the place is that it is the cleanest restaurant you have ever seen. The health inspection certificate with a 100% is proudly displayed near the counter.

The restaurant is casual, with simple decor and bright lighting. We ordered Joll-of-Rice and palm butter with fufu. I drank a bottle of palm wine. The food was great! The palm wine was yummy. I've had a little Liberian food that my fiancee cooked at home and this was just as good.

I will let someone who know smore about Liberian food go into the specifics of how the dishes truly reflect the traditional cooking of West Africa but I can say this: This is one of those restaurants that you go to and you are transported to another place. The food, the people, the drinks, all make you feel like you are truly outside of Atlanta and in another culture. The people working there are not only nice and interesting, but they also have the excitement of sharing their culture with others. We had great conversations with the lovely people who were working there.

Overall the visit was a great experience and I will be back.
