We were not told until after our meal that we could not use our Groupon with the pizza special (which was not stated when the groupon was purchased). When we tried to talk to the manager (who smelled like he took a bath in cheap cologne)

Well, my date and I got there and were seated immediately, so that was good. The atmosphere was hip, which I don't really care one way or another about.

I ordered spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer which I would enjoy even at a Friday's. The presentation was unappealing and, the artichoke was overwhelming and overcooked to mush, and the cheese seemed cheap and extremely oily. Despite us both being hungry, half of it went uneaten despite being a fairly small portion.

For our entrees, my date ordered a spicy ham and pineapple pizza. The flatbread, cheese and ham were all fine, but the tomato sauce, which was also used in my chicken parmigiana and my flat bread became the conversation of the dinner. We debated whether it was from Stouffer's or Chef Boyardee. Finally, after much discussion, we decided that it was too bland for either, and that it favored Campbell's Tomato Soup.

I am normally one who eats my entire meal when I go out (I know it's a fault), regardless of the portions. These portions were fairly small, and half of the pizza and 3/4 of my flat bread were uneaten; none boxed, as it would not have been appealing at home either. An hour later we were both hungry again.

In short, the meal was awful, and we will not be going back.

If you've already bought their groupon, I'd suggest making the most of it by just going for some overpriced drinks after dinner. With the groupon, they will be priced appropriately.

Pros: Not Crowded at All at 7:30 on a Friday

Cons: Might use Campbells Tomato Soup for Tomato Sauce

The best part of my experience was the food. I actually enjoyed what I ate, however the service was awful. After placing our order the general manager decided it was best to come to our table and inform us that even if we didn't like our food we had to pay for it. I was flabbergasted. I had never been to via, nor do I have a reputation for sending food back to the kitchen and asking for it to be removed from my bill. The General Manager assumed that we would eat some of our food then send it back and expect not to have to pay for the meal. His logic behind being rude and disrupting my beautiful evening out with my man was that other people do it so he wanted to make sure he told us we couldn't before we even started eating. Mind you there were about 5 tables of people in the restaurant at the time and he did not approach any of these tables at any time. He was rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone. DO NOT GO TO VIA.

I've been to VIA at least 10 times in the past 2 months and I've had a blast everytime. The pizza, lamb chops and Calamari are off the chain. Can't forget the smoked salmon bites... Hell all the food is good..

Margarites are explosive, 2 drinks and your starting to feel the buzzzzz. $2 draft import on wed night can't beat it.

This place is so nice, I recently held a NFL draft party for a young man that got selected into the 2009 NFL. So if this place can accomidate a NFL player, you know it has to be TOP CLASS...

Via is the worst place I have ever seen. People are disgusting, kitchen is disgusting. There are people who knows the managers and the owner. They just went to the kitchen and opened the walk in fridge. They had s...*x in the fridge where all the food is stored. The management was fine with it. The staff was fine with it. Just stay away...

Who says there's no where to go in Buckhead anymore?!? My friend, Jonathan convinced me to come to VIA on a Friday - after trying to for at least a month! Well, I did go and all I can say is "WOW!"

The crowd looked like it was hand-selected! I've NEVER seen so many beautiful women in Atlanta! The place is absolutely gorgeous and the music by DJ One (I believe) was awesome! Ryan Haynes and Jonathan Orozco with Haute Couture Media, (guys I've known in the city for years) have done an unbelievable job with Friday nights there and I highly suggest going!

I inquired about bottle service upstairs, thinking it would be expensive - and they sell bottles of Grey Goose for $150.00 on Fridays! Who does that? Especially with that crowd that would rival anything I've seen in Miami!

I didn't try any of the food, but saw people eating and the food looked delicious!

Do yourself a favor and GO TO VIA ON A FRIDAY NIGHT!

I heard this place was decent on a Monday, I went to check it out. The place had a hip feel to it; however, drinks were over priced and is was talentless. People told me positive things about Wednesday. I am debating if I will give this place one more shot.

Went to Via for the first time recently. The pizza was fantastic! The decor and vibe were interesting, more reminiscent of Miami than of Atlanta. Not what I'm used to in this town but nothing but good things to say. I would go again.

food is 8 out of 10 - portions could be a bit larger but all in all very good feast. - the hotties that frequent the place are worth the trip. - drinks are pretty strong also.

i have been meaning to try this place out for a while and i would have to say that the entire experience was top notch. (i can't speak for those who did not give the place a good review, but i just can't see this place being that much different than my experience) - others i have talked to agree with me on this....this will be one of the best meeting places in the buckhead area in the near future once the word really gets out. - The food was amazing (especially the pizzas) - i will put these up against any place in Atlanta.

Cons: it is not the biggest place, but was not overly crowded either

Well, this is not L.A. yet. And the concept of a restaurant/nighclub, has not worked here, look at Atlantic Station. Don't get us wrong, and we know the talented Shaun Doty designed the menu, but don't go looking for another Shaun's. Maybe if you are drunk enough, late at night, you might grab a pizza, instead of going to the Waffle House. The rah-rah party scene in Buckhead is so dated!

Well I stopped in to VIA just because the other night for a quick bite. I'll tell you about my experience a little later but right before I wrote this I read other reviews and was downright jaw dropping surprised. I mean just read the outstanding reviews yourself and you'll see, there is obviously an owner, employee, or advertiser spamming the reviews. Most sound more like advertisments than a customer review, and after having my own experience i'm not surprised they'd take their clientele as morons.
The food was not outstanding it was mediocre at best. Salads seemed like they were dressed with Kraft, mussels were rubbery, pizza was okay (I prefer Baraonda). Drinks were a little expensive, and staff seemed a little out there if you know what I mean. Interior looked more like a disco than a restaurant, I didn't feel that comfortable. Not really on my list of place to goto again.

VIA is quickly becoming one of my favorite local watering holes...a more trendy and hip one that is. The food is fantastic...whether you're in the mood for a savory flat bread pizza or want to step it up a notch with the fantastic seared tuna small plate or the delicate crab cakes, you can't go wrong. And the caprese salad is delightful...the balsamic reduction is a treat for your tastebuds. They also have great specials...sign-up for their email list to receive updates! And as many reviewers before me have said...you'll enjoy the eyecandy as well. Buon appetito!

been walking past this place for a while and finally got the itch to go in. - love the ambiance - relaxing, chill music with hot looking staff. Food i would give an 8.5 out of ten just because of the portions (i am used to having a ton of food: read Maggianos) Realistically they are what they should be not what FAT America is demanding. Services was great and the pizzas rock.

Imagine yourself in a soft tranquil garden, with soft breezes at your face, and birds singing in the background all along while feasting on the freshest, most imaginative food yu've ever tasted in your life.

Now open your eyes...

You're in the middle of a nightclub, paying upscale prices for lousy food. You are being over stimulated by the t.v.'s along with the awful techno music.

Not reccomended... Leave this place to the Buckhead snobs... Better they hang out here for the so-called scene and bland food than a real restaurant.

Walked into Via last weekend on a friends reccomendation of a visit to Atlanta she had last autumn and expected an elegant restaurant by the way she described to food, but instead walked into a frat house. She told me of homemade pastas and vibrant flavors and I got frozen products and commercial dressings. Along withthe below average food the ambiance was horrid, techno music and loud drunk patrons. To this day she says it was a grerat place to eat, but I'll stay clear.

Via is incredibly unique and was like something I had never been to before. We went a bit late on a Friday night and was happy that we were more than welcomed to have a few drinks and our meal. We had the wild mushroom pizza and it was bursting with flavor and a fitting meal for the evening. The music was loud but we enjoyed it, and it seemed like the rest of the patrons were having a good time as well. I would recommend it to friends and will definitely be back for more!

Visited via about a week ago to grab a quick bite with some friends. Place was pretty dead, yet we seemed to be an inconvience to the staff and manager. Music was a tad overwhelming and patrons at the bar were yelling over the music and throwing napkins in the air while we were enjoying our entrees.
We started with the calamari, it was a bit over cooked and under seasoned. Then we had the carne pizza, it was full of fresh bold flavors and a crisp crust. Our server never refilled our water or even asked how the meal was, strange. I wouldn't go again based on the ambiance and service alone.
