5 Stars: This is the BEST creole/cajun place in all of metro Atlanta- bar none (by phoodee)

This is the real deal. From the outside, I'd never thought it was anything other than a HB Hams wannabe, but inside you have family owners and cooks from "Naw-lins". The shrimp creole was awesome and as rich and fresh as you are going to find this side of the French Quarter. When you go, you have to (!) save room for the fresh beignets. I have never had a beignet as good- anywhere. Service was attentive to every detail and these folks are definitely from the delta. Please keep this place in business.

5 Stars: Great food and friendly staff !!!! (by GHo)

This is a place I would recommend to anyone working or living in the Alpharetta area. I love the outstanding selection of dishes. The owners have Louisiana roots and it really shows in some of their offerings like authentic Poboys, jambalaya and gumbo.

5 Stars: If you want real Gumbo, this is the place for you! (by Xeones)

It's hard to spot this establishment, and even harder to recognize what they offer. At first glance, we assumed them to be a "Honey Baked Ham" pretender; far from it.
While they have freezers chock full of meats and other delectibles, they also offer the finest chicken & sausage gumbo this side of the Mississippi! Their Muffulettas and other sandwiches are outstanding as well.
Very friendly employees (usually the owner is around) and a very cozy sitting area make this a great experience for the whole family.
