Vino Libro has turned into a disturbance of the peace. It is loud with reckless, irresponsible and inconsiderate behavior of patrons overflowing into the quiet neighborhood's streets.

Great music when available. My wife had my birthday celebration there and another friend had their wedding shower mid-day. All were great experiences. Affordable pricing on food and drink too.

Well....this was the first time I've been to Vino Libro. What a cool place. This is truly a neighborhood club/restaurant/bar. Just that alone is noteworthy. You'll see what I mean when you get there. Anywho, there was all different sorts of comfortable seating. The owner really wants people to relax and enjoy. It looks like a really friendly bunch of people. Serve food and wine. But.........they also had Sasha playing. Sasha!!! My goodness. If you've never had the good fortune to hear him play, you've got to take the time and do so. What a talented guy. Not sure if he's playing here again so call ahead. No matter. Having him there made this place all that more special. We'll be back. Keep the wine coming and the music playing!!

Drink, Eat, Play, Stay, no it ain?t Atlantic Station, ?Vino Libro? is located at ?Glenwood Park?, an eco-friendly neighborhood, with particular focus on lovable, walkable urban places, not far from Downtown, off I-20 East.. I?ve attended 2 memorable events at this Wine and Book retailer with Bistro, and each time enjoyed every minute, moment, hour. If you?re looking for a nice change of pace, well..this is the place, the bistro serves small plates elegantly presented, there?s a full bar, WIFI, and an extensive wine list. Did I mention, there?s a Wine & Cheese Tastings on Wednesdays and something very unique, a Wine and Book club. The atmosphere is casual but quite relaxing, rooms beautifully decorated and accented by a fireplace for those cold days of winter. (Yeah, right..we have Winter in Atlanta) Craving something sweet, the bistro serves ?Kheesekakes by Kelli?, who recently received kudos for ?2008 City Search Best Dessert?, ummmmm ummmmm, I can taste my favorite Kheesekakes by Kelli right now, ?Banana Pudding?, it?s DA BOMB!!!! What a great spot for a first date, I recommend during the week, weekends are filled with special events. I?m free this weekend, call me, I?ll go with you, what are you waiting for, our table awaits.

I've been in here about 3 or 4 times. Twice I've been at the bar area and have gotten good service. Once we sat at a table and it took at least 15 minutes to get drinks each time we ordered. We actually had to chase down are server at several points because we were waiting to order/get drinks. I understand that at places like this you dont get a lot of food for the money, but I ordered some smoked salmon and it came on 4 thinly sliced cucumbers...for something like $8. every other "tasting plate" was exactly that...enough to actually give your mouth a taste of the food and nothing else. What a fantastic concept. I really wanted to like this place as its in my neighborhood but I will not be returning to the bar/lounge portion of this establishment. The one star is for the wine bar itself.

The actual wine shop next to the wine bar is a different story...I've been to 2 wine tastings and they've been a lot of fun and informative. They're only $10, and you get to try several wines. Also, the employees of the wine shop provide good information regarding the wines. This is always the first place I stop to get a bottle of wine for a special occassion.

I recently spent my birthday here with 10+ friends on a Sat. evening. It was a WONDERFUL experience. The owner, Melanie, placed us at the best seat in the house directly in front of the wonderful jazz band. The band made me and my party a part of the show which was fun! My champagne aperitif and my glasses of red and white wine selected by the waitress were great. The platters that we ordered were fantastic. The bruschetta was hands down the best that I've had. The intimate atmosphere of the wine bar fit the exact feel that I wanted for this birthday. I've been to the wine bar on Sunday and now on a Saturday and each time was better than the last. Everyone in my party gave the place big thumbs up! For a great time with wonderful wine, Vino Libro is the place!

The service at Vino Libro was awesome!!! I went for dinner with friends on a Sunday evening and spent 3 hours enjoying wine, food, and conversation. The restaurant has a very inviting atmosphere, the food and wine are both great. The owner is very personable, and I truly enjoyed my experience. I will definitely return to Vino Libro, and I plan to tell everyone I know about this great restaurant.

I went here for the first time on Friday night. It's was raining and I didn't think I would have a good time. Well, boy I was wrong. I met my girlfriend and her date at the wine shp next door. We bought a total of four bottles of wine. When my date arrive we went in the lounge area and ordered wine and Tapas and listed to a great jazz band. This place is for ages 25-55. This is a cool spot and I will be going back.

This place has an excellent food and drink menu and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. Three of us went on a Saturday night and were kinda surprised to see the place so lively. You can't be in a hurry if you come here, because the service is slow...however, they are very polite and know the menu quite well. The seating is a little funky, along with the band...but I think it only adds to the trendy, yet romantic atmosphere.

I enjoyed my first visit to Vino Libro so much I came back wtih friends the next night. Visit the website as it truly does describe the day to evening transformation. This will quickly become a unique new gem in our downtown community that I hope to see expand.

The service is warm and the food is just fantastic - if you like hummus this is the best I have ever had and the smoked salon plate is really unique.

We had high hopes when this wine bar/bistro/bookstore opened in a prime space facing Glenwood Park's central square. We've been in a few times so we've had the opportunity to try many of the food and wine options (as well as drinks at the full bar). The food is very good; tapas style small plates with nice variety, artfully prepared and the wine is just fine. The service has been friendly but slow; this could actually use some improvement. So here it is, the biggest problem with the place is the lack of thought or effort put into making the space work to its full potential. In fact, it really really bothers me. There is an awkward mix bistro tables and sofas that don't utilize the available space or provide for comfortable seating options for various sized parties. It's kind of confusing, is this place supposed to be comfy or slick? Vino Libro fits nicely into the neighborhood and is the type of place the area really coud use. After people have come from all around to try the 'new place at Glenwood', it is the regulars (locals) that will keep this place in business. If the owner could get a little help on this space planning issue instead of buying furniture piece by piece and trying to find a place for it (which she obviously has been doing) the look and feel would be much more inviting and encourage people actually stay around for a while AND come back. I want to like the place more, really, I do.
