To everyone that has a problem in georgia with insurance companys stalling to pay on a claim. It is against the law!!!!!! It is called "Bad Faith' Code - ocga 3.3-4-6(A). Also call your insurance commissioner. and or go to there website There is some information how to send GA mutual a letter stating this law, and your suppose to send a copy to the insurance commisioner and someone else. Do research. Because it is against the law. Good Luck.

I had to file a claim. It was on a tuesday. They told me my adjuster would get back to me in 24 to 48 hours. It took my adjuster until Monday the next week to get back to me. That was 6 days. And every time I called everyone starting with the receptionist had an attitude. And then when my adjuster Diane Mitchell got back to me she had an attitude. Then she sent an appraiser out to look at my vehicle on Monday. They gave an estimate. Its been a week since the appraisal my vehicle is ready and I still havent received the check to pick up my vehicle. Everytime I call her its always something different with her. It should be illegal for them to stall around about paying you your claim. I have never had an experience so bad.I dont understand why they are still in business.

I am an insurance agent and have written GA Mutual Ins. I will never use them again and am re-writing all policies I have with them. Two of my insured's were refunded their premiums in lieu of claim payment that any of my other companies would have paid! GA Mutual Adjusters go out of their way to avoid paying claims and I wouldn't be surprised if a class action suit was filed against them.

This is the WORST insurance company ever. Yes, its true you may receive a great deal but if something happens to your automobile you are up the creek. This company has the WORST employees ever and they never return phone calls. I was involved in a accident and they only sent out information and phoned a total of four times about my concerns with my claim. They are un professional, I was never allowed to speak to the VP of Claims Mike Smith and the adjuster wouldn't half return phone calls. I always got relayed to a voicemail and when I finally did speak to someone they wouldn't hardly speak to me they stated they couldn't debate my concerns any longer. So, if you are ever referred to this compnay, STOP, LOOK, AND RUN!! If you want horrible service then this is your place. I will never go back to GA MUTUAL Insurance!!!!!!!! The statr that is given showed me a half of a gold star because their service and professionalism is negative 0.
