Have gone to Blue Moon Pizza several times from work as "something different" than the usual eateries for lunch. The food is OK - nothing I would rave about. There are some interesting pizza flavors on the menu. And the prices are reasonable. No complaints, but nothing special.

Daniel and I eat at Blue Moon Pizza at least once a week. We had our first experience during the first week of moving to the Atlanta area. My husband went out for pizza and came back with Blue Moon, Daniel and I were not happy, we were expecting Papa John's or Pizza Hut, but he bought this pizza we'd never heard of. Well, it was the best pizza we'd ever had. We loved the Marietta location, but since moving into our home in Smyrna, we were excited about the new Smyrna location. We take all of our friends and family that visit us. Daniel and I visited Rome this past Spring and we wished for Blue Moon Pizza!

All I can say is....if you haven't visited Blue Moon , you're missing a treat! The food is fresh and tasty. I also appreciate the cleanliness and polite staff. The owners are professional and they have a great repertoire with the employees.I drive several miles to frequent this establishment and I'm never disappointed.

This pizza is delicious. The crust is not your normal crust. Crispy but not too thin. The vegetables are always fresh too. Also, the sizes are a good value for the price. Their personal pizza are other people's mediums.

This place serves great pizza ! The menu offers other selections , but the pizza is the thing. Try one of their specialty pizzas or stick to your regular large pepperoni . The surroundings are pretty minimalist ; families are welcome. Nice addition to Smyrna's pizza possibilities !

Bacon flatbread sandwhich is incredible. Pizza is very good too! Try bacon on the pizza. Garlic rolls are excellent as well.

Great Pizza- lots of yelling children

My husband and I have frequented Blue Moon quite often since we moved to West Village. The staff has always been extremely friendly and knowledgeable (including host and bar staff). The pizza has the perfect amount of crunch, great sauce and fantastic ingredients. The wings are quite good and the salads are incredibly fresh.
The wine list isn't great- but I assume most people who go there grab a beer with their pizza.
Avoid Friday and Saturdays if you do not want to surround yourself with dozens (and dozens) of small children (and parents who don't care what their kids do/scream). The restaurant is just out of control with kids on the weekend.

A blessing and a curse

I had the great pleasure of having a feta and pepperoni pizza at Blue Moon. I was stunned at how incredible the pizza tasted. The ambiance is also very cool. I am from the Northeast and I tend to be a pizza snob, and I found Blue Moon pizza to be truly yummy. I've also had the fresh marguerita style pizza with fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil. They also have a good draft selection and very friendly staff.
This above is a blessing...the curse is that I mostly eat low carb so I can't get this pizza out of my head.

Have to-try to-believe

Got a to-go pizza tonight that was to-die for. Mushrooms, spinach & anchovies. IT was perfect. Not too sauced up, not too cheesy, not soggy at all. Crust IS delicious, as were all the other toppings. I am from the Northeast and pizza is king there. Blue Moon comes close. I will absolutely get pizza here again. Soon :)
Only complaint is a side Cesar Salad that was long on the dark green ends of the romain and short on just about everything else.
Pros: Great pizza, bar seems fun (albeit greasy - needs a good cleaning)

I love the food at Blue Moon. The wings are tasty and the salad is very filling too. West Village is a nice atmoshphere. I enjoy walking through the village after dining at Blue Moon. I recommend the Greek pizza-it's not to greasy and all of the veggies are fresh.

Great pizza by the slice

The pizza crust is great, so is the selection of drinks. The servers are friendly and attentive. I always get pizza by the slice - which usually is ready within 5 minutes of ordering. My wife really enjoys their homemade chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. They actually bake this when you order - - right in the pizza oven. This is a must try if you are in the mood for a beer and a slice.

Best Pizza

Blue Moon pizza is excellent, the bartender there Mark is the best. I really enjoyed the fresh pizza . It was a very cozy envirorment and very welcoming to families with small children. There menu has a variety of other things to try such as salads,sandwiches, and very good drinks. So please give Blue Moon a try for your next pizza experience!!!

Best crust

We love their pie, but the calzones are to die for. Even leftovers in the oven are good. Just make sure you ask for an extra marinara when taking it home. I don't know what they put in it, but it's just freaking awesome. Specialty pies are great, too. Decent draft beer selection, too. Nice people running the place, too. I have always had good service.

Cons: None, other than they should try to offer a Chicago-style pie.

Average pizza

Delivery was on time, pizza was average and very pricey. Advertised as 16" pizza, when it came it looked very small. I measured it and it was 14.5 inches. Not much cheese either.

It is soooo nice that the 2nd Blue Moon Pizza is "as good as the original".. Now we have two Moons over ATL. Keep up the GREAT WORK! The Pizza and the specialty sandwiches and salads cannot be beat. I love just going in with friends and sharing a Pizza, because EVERYTHING is good. I tell them to just order and I will "split with them"... They are all good. Keep expanding and Keep Growing.... We need some GREAT Pizza on Holcomb Bridge.......

Don't bother calling in

They'll put you on hold repeatedly, just to place a pickup order...very tragic when I live 2 minutes from it and can't even get that decent service, worth it to drive to bella's.

Dining at Blue Moon Pizza in the West Village Plaza is awesome. This is a great atmosphere for a date, family, or friends. The food is served fresh and the service is prompt and friendly. You will leave with a box because the portions are plentiful. I love this place , I'm so glad they're in my neighborhood!
