This is honestly the best restaurant in Madison! I eat there quite a bit. All of the dishes are delicious and served fresh, which may take some time, but is definitely worth it! The staff is all very pleasant. You should absolutely give it a try. Try the zangas (spelling?) for dessert. It is like a fried cheese cake burrito that has a caramel sauce....WONDERFUL!

Tequila Express is new to Madison and a good addition. It's not the cheapest Mexican/Latin restaurant, but it's one of the better ones. Lots of options for vegetarians. Clean too. I would recommend it.

Our family (my wife, two teenage daughters and I) took a side trip off I-20 on the way back to Atlanta from the North Carolina Coast. We spend a couple of hours in Madison shopping and looking around. We didn't see any of the restaurants on Main Street that appealed to us and we didn't want to spend the time or the money that some of the others (Icehouse, etc.) would require to enjoy them. We accidentally came across Tequila Express last night and were very pleased with the food and the overall setting. I wasn't entirely certain what we were going to get with the advertised Mediterranean an Spanish cuisine but what we found was a interesting mix of dishes that appealed to all four of us. I had the pork medallion with a delicious mix of vegetables and a touch of jalapeno---it was great. My wife had the chicken enchilladas with corn tortillas---a very attractive dish with great corn / chicken flavor. Our 16 year old daughter had angel hair pasta with marinara sauce--she called it the "best I've ever had" which, given how much she likes this dish, is no small statement. Our other daughter had the beef burrito with which she was very pleased. If you haven't tried Tequila Express, you should!!
