When he tried to contest his charges with the credit card company they did not believe him either and would not give him money back. So the best he could do was to post lies on the Internet. Hired Splendor Koi to come out and upgrade my pond filter, do some cosmetic work, and perform some routine maintenance. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Chuck (the owner) is a slick talker who doesn't deliver. I was originally impressed by his Koi at the showroom and figured that anyone who had the large trucks and original presentation he does should be fairly reputable. Boy, was I wrong. He will show you many pictures of ponds (who know if he has done them) and talk as if he knows what he is doing. Reality is, he doesn't know much, if any, about ponds. His budgeting and scheduling is terrible (took months to finish a "simple day job" (according to Chuck.) The equipment never worked properly and I had to hire someone else to finish the job. He charges by the hour and went well over his estimated budget.
