Chiropractic Specialist - Atlas (NUCCA) Adjustments

I have been seeing Dr. Jim for the past several years. I started going to him for problems with TMJ. He is amazing. He can tell me what is going on with my body by examining my spine. I have gone to him on several occasions where he might say "You've been having trouble with indigestion" or "You have something going on with your leg" and without fail he has been right on target. I don't even say it - he just know. I drive about 85 miles round trip to see Dr. Jim. There are probably 10 chiropractors in my town and 100 in between and I wouldn't even consider allowing anyone else to give me an adjustment. I went just a few weeks ago. I could barely turn my head and when I did it sounded like sandpaper rubbing together. Before I walked out of his office, I felt better. Anyone that hasn't seen Dr. Jim is really missing out.

NUCCA is a specialized procedure in NUCCA. I checked with the web site and called the national home office and this Doctor is not a member, has never been to a conference on record , and has zero certification status. Check on line at NUCCA for NUCCA doctors all over the country. Unfortunately, anyone chiropractor can say they do any procedure.
NUCCA is great...get it done right.

My head had always been tilted to the right. All of the other chiropractors that I had been to in the past never addressed the problem. When I saw the x-rays I was shocked. You could see the spine straight and the head tilted.

After the first visit a small miracle occurred. My voice changed for the better. I was studying Classical Voice (Italian Arias) and had a voice lesson a few hours after my first adjustment. My teacher was in amazement at the sound quality of my voice. The adjustment must have freed up the muscles in my throat and released nerves that were impinged. I had a whole new voice that I enjoy to today.

It took a few adjustment to get the head to hold in place. Now when I go in every six weeks there are only minor adjustments to be made.

Overall, I feel like I've been given a new body, and I like it.

I have been going to Dr.Jim for over 7 years now, along with the four other members of my family. And like clockwork, every two to three months my spine needs adjusting. I will have headaches, neckaches, and body cramps that are instantly relieved after a visit. He is very friendly and caring about his patients. Can tell you lots of helpful health information and show you exactly how your body reacts to an adjustment, or when it is telling you that you need an adjustment. Also helps allieviate pain during or after sickness or an accident or body strain (I had whiplash from an accident and it helped a lot).

WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING!

Dr. Jim is probably the most impressive chiropractor I've ever met. He sees more medical professionals than any other chiros I have ever met...he is different from the rest

I have been to quite a few chiropractors in the Cobb county area in search of a medical professional that can provide quality service and education regarding my persistent headaches and inability to sleep and was finally referred to "Dr. Jim" (Dr. James Colina). He is the most genuine healthcare provider I have ever found and is eager to answer any question about any aspect of your health. Unlike others that sell you on care plans in which you absolutely must go 3x/week for months...Dr. Jim actually spends a sufficient amount of time with you each visit so that you only need to be seen 2-3x/month, if that.

This is not your typical "pay $65, get adjusted at the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine and off you go." I myself am a physical therapist and understand the importance of proper alignment and reassessment each visit. What I could not understand about other practices was that they would not even look at you before adjsuting They tell you to lay on the table, they do the same 6 "pops," try not to answer any questions let alone ask you any, and send you on your way. Dr. Jim, on the other hand, reassesses your alignment every time, looks at every level of every vertebra, and looks at every extremity and adjusts accordingly. He is genuinely interested in helping people and is one of the very few healthcare providers out there that care and spend time with a patient.

After implementing his NUCCA technique with me, which was not even one of those rapidly surprising neck adjustments, but rather light pressure to my atlas (C-1)...my headaches had gone from 2x/day to 1x/over 2 weeks and none since then! I am incredibly hopeful to address other impairments in my life through Dr. Jim's help and education. Dr. Jim has done more for me in 3 visits than any other medical professional has done over my lifespan. I'm making sure to tell everyone I know because you just can't find care like this anymore, let alone something that actually works and gives you results!
