What gives this business the right to do something so drastic to a person without their knowledge or permission. I thought doctors were suppose to explain procedures to their patients. This doctor should be ashamed of messing this woman up. I see where some of the other doctors are part owners to a laser center near them. Why is this doctor's name not mentioned as a part owner? Is it because he is not qualified or are they just not mentioning his name for fear they would not get any business? Also they don't show his picture or put his name on some of their websites. Are they embarrased to associate with him? It looks like the doctor who messed this woman up is not qualified in a lot of things in this practice. May be that this practice needs to replace him with someone who knows how to do plastic surgery. I looked up a z-plasty and it says it's done for scar revision. From what I have heard it was overkill in this situation. Perhaps the doctor made such a mess he had to cut two triangle skin flaps to put over his mess. Whatever the reason this doctor did not have the right to do this procedure. This doctor and practice should not be allowed to work on people if they can't do what is right. This doctor is a big shot board member and must think he is above having to talk to his patients. He's proved he is not much of a doctor. He has no consideration for a person's welfare or feelings. He's not much of a man either. This is pertaining to the doctor who messed up the woman by doing a z-plasty on her. Not only was it not necessary, it was criminal to ruin her life. This doctor will have to live with his actions. I hope no one else makes the mistake of having him mess them up. I would hate 2 B U, you are a disgrace to this profession.

Pros: There are possibly other doctors who know what they are doing

Cons: There is one doctor who is not qualified or professional

I read a review recently on a doctor. It was a praise on how this doctor had explained everything in such detail that he answered all of the person's questions before she had the opportunity to ask. She said the doctor was very thorough and everything he said to expect happened. No surprises! Final results were perfect, This is wonderful and this is what we wish all doctors did. But in this practice there is a doctor that does not take time to explain what is going to be done. He does not give you an opportunity to ask questions. He has no time to talk to you or for you to talk to him. The staff does not tell you anything either. It would have been nice to know what to expect and have no surprises. I was very surprised at what a big mess was done to me. I asked this doctor what aftercare was needed and he said ""Nothing"" and walked out of the room. This doctor had no compassion. This doctor did a procedure on me that no one would agree to have done, unless it was a life or death situation. This was not necessary on a bump. I wish I had known what to expect and had had no surprises. I was never told a thing before, during or after. I had to go on the internet and figure out what I had had done. So I can't praise this doctor. I think it is rediculous and outrageous the way this doctor operates.

Cons: does not care

When a doctor does not reveal what he or someone is going to do to you. Beware because it's the right of the patient to be informed before a procedure is done. There are somethings a doctor or the staff should take the time to do. 1. Spend at least a few minutes with the person who has paid to be seen. 2. At least walk in the room and appear that you are interested in them. 3. At least look to see if something needs to be done 4. Inform the person what will be done (they should not have to go on the internet to find out what was done to them.) 5. Be considerate and at least act like you have some compassion 6. Inform not only of the procedure, but the many risks involved, complications, and the aftercare involved. 7. Get a consent form stating the kind of procedure, risks, etc signed before the procedure is done. I sure wish these things had been done , but this doctor and practice does not think this is important. They obviously just are interested in making money off of you and not your welfare. I sure would have appreciated knowing that a z incision and two triangle skin flaps were going to be done on my face on a hair follicle. I would have never agreed to have this procedure done, but I was never given a chance to say NO to this procedure, because it was not important to give me a choice. Some doctors don't care if the procedure is necessary or not, they just want the money. This doctor who claims to have WON when it comes to standing up to cancer should know the difference of a skin cancer and a bump. Is he dumb, no I think he is smart enough to know the difference. I think he did not care! Whoever did this z-plasty must have not been experienced. My cost has just begun to improve the appearance of the mess this doctor or someone did? Please see the appropriate doctor and see a doctor who actually has interest in you. You don't want to be just a dollar sign!
After over a year, I had hoped someone from this practice would tell me what was done to me. I have guessed something, but I don't know how the skin flap was done, where they came from and why they were even done.Dr. Smith was not interested in telling me. I got my records and the procedure is not explained in them also. It's a shame that their is no one decent enough at this practice to take the time to tell me what was done, how it was done, and why it was done without my knowledge.I do know it was not needed, but Dr. Smith really wanted to do whatever it was he did on me. One doctor told me that he loved to do this kind of procedure. If that is so, then why was what he did to me such a mess. Is he still practicing until he gets it right. I heard this doctor was a good doctor, it may be time for him to retire because if the way he did me is suppose to be good, I would hate to see a bad doctor
He must like a patient like me. He got paid for an office visit and did not even have to take time to examine or consult with me. I was stupid enough to go ba

Pros: easy to get an appointment

Cons: too easy to get an appointment, see a doctor that may take months to see. They're better
