Wonderful stafff who remembers all the dogs names, each and every single one of them. I noticed there are always people watching the dogs in the back while they play. When a "potty accident" happens you see them get up and clean it up ASAP. It smells fresh and clean, not at all like dogs are there 24/7. I saw one person cleaning the kennel room and doing a wonderful job while others were watching the dogs and cleaning the play rooms as well. They have a nicely rubber padded floor that keeps the dogs safe from slipping and hurting them selves and also during play time with other dogs. The water bowl were filled up and clean. The outside was clean and safe from any escapes. They always put the dogs first. Baths are just $10 dollars and they did a wonderful WONDERFUL job on making her smell wonderful and looking so pretty. Just overall a great place for my dog!

I visited Paws and Play this week when I took a tour. The girl who showed me around was very nice. First thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell. It smelled like pee. When the girl was walking me down the hallway there was a big pile of poop where the dogs were playing and it wasn't cleaned up. The dogs weren't being watched by anyone when I was there. I specifically asked if my dogs would be watched all the time and she said yes. I didn't like that they stayed in crates. They didn't look very safe as most of them appeared to be damaged. It's a cutesy and colorful place but wasn't the place for me. Decided to board with another place in town for my dogs.

I took my dog here who is a 10 month old 90lb Alaskan Malamute. She had a few visits and after the 3 or 4th visit I was told that she was aggressive. They suggested talking with their trainer & I did. I was told that she wasn't allowed back there because she "attacked" another dog. My dog is not aggressive at all, she has two cats and has been very well socialized since 7 weeks of age. she does the normal malamute rumbles, growls, etc when she gets very excited and can sound very mean when indeed she is just talking to you. I was told I was doing all these things wrong when the things I do with my dog like free feeding work for us. And I got all my information from Vets and our trainers. I took her to Playful Pals and they love her there. Said she's in no way aggressive and the sweetest dog ever. However it is worry some when your being told that your dog can't be around other dogs and you start to panic about what your going to do with an "aggressive" dog when you try to go away. She isn't an animal that can sit in a crate all day long. It was a hard week when when we went through this.

I still give Paws & play three stars because the staff are very nice and friendly and were always willing to help. It's very clean and they are great with the animals. They have mostly golden retrievers and boxers and smaller dogs. I think that their facility just wasn't a good fit for me and my hyper active large dog.

This place is brand new, clean, professional, fun and the prices are great! My dog will go here every time! The dogs are cared for by people and there are indoor and outdoor areas for play and potty. Discounts are also available for multiple dogs!
