4 years ago I lived in Upstate NY & was pregnant. I found Kim & Amy through a friend. Even though I was almost 2000 miles from my family in San Antonio, TX; Amy & Kim made me realize I wasn't alone. They helped me with pain management (due to a repetitive motion injury on the job 10 years earlier), and with planning my c-section (I'd had an emergency c-section 13 years prior with my first son).

A month before I was set to deliver, my now ex-husband told me he wanted a divorce & to put our baby up for adoption. Kim & Amy & everyone in the office helped me through that very difficult time, including helping me look for adoptive parents. I found a wonderful couple who became parents for the baby boy I'd nurtured. Everyone worked with me in the days leading up to delivery & in the weeks after in preparation for my return to Texas.

They made my Mom feel welcome & from having spoken with Baby's parents, they were treated wonderfully too. That kind of peace of mind & peace of spirit cannot be quantified.

Thank you to everyone in Women's View Midwifery.

If I lived close enough or got back to that part of the country, I'd definitely still be a patient.

The person who left the nasty review about Amy probably heard what she didn't want to hear about lifestyle changes that MUST happen to have a safe & happy pregnancy & delivery. What utter nonsense that Amy was anything less than a caring & attentive midwife.

When I went into labor for my first child in the Summer of 2001, I arrived at the hospital to find that Amy Kranick was on call for the provider I had seen for my pregnancy. I had never met Amy before, yet she made my first birth an amazing and beautiful experience.

Since 2001 I have switched my care to Women's View Midwifery for both my Ob and Gyn care. I couldn't be happier with my decision. Both Kim Griffin and Amy offer me the most professional & knowledgeable care available. I would recommend this practice to all women, regardess of their age.

As for the person who left the negative feedback below...obviously you have bigger issues than this world can mend. Self diagnosing yourself as high risk doesn't entitle you to better or more compassionate care than the rest of us. If you were in fact "high risk" you would have been receiving your care with a high risk specialist.

I've been seeing Kim or Amy since I was sixteen. Seven years later, I still go to Women's View even though I live in Nashville (I schedule appointments when I'm home for a visit) and the office is an hour away from my parent's house.

They are kind and good at putting you at your ease. I know I can always call the office with questions and get great advice.

Ive been cared for by Womensview for 8 years. Both of my children arrived under thier watch. They were previously located in NY and they are so good I followed them to VT. Amy and Kim are both medically sound and spiritually grounded.
They give you the truth and thier recomendations and let you decide whats good for you.
I read a review about Amy that said her bedside manner was bad but its just not true. These women dont sugar coat the situation escpecially about babies. With how vague the woman was about the details I would bet Amy told her what she didnt want to hear. I love them and Im about to enbark on baby number three! I cant wait.

After a recent trip to labor and delivery, my family and i have come to the conclusion that Amy is a rude unprofessional inconsiderate b****, who doesnt seem concerned at all about the safety and well being of her patients or their unborn children.
When told directly by Kim during an exam that i would get rechecked later, Amy refused to do so, she talked about me within ear range of my family and i and was even rude to my own family when they questioned her as well. She said she was going to call in a prescription at prior appointment and didnt, and even told me to not bother coming in when not feeling well, needless to say my local emt's found me unconcious hours later on my bathroom floor with an irregular heartrate and pulse.
Being a highrisk patient you'd think Amy would be more considerate but she is not, where Kim has better bedside manners and actually listens to the patients concerns and introduces herself to family members that are present.
