My wife and I decided to go out for breakfast on our 25th anniversary. My father-in-law recommended "Up For Breakfast" (since we are new to this area, having just moved from the Chicago suburbs).

We arrived there at about 8:30am on Tuesday, and there were only a few other customers there at that time.

We were immediately offered coffee, which we accepted, and it was good-tasting, fresh coffee.

We ordered cinnamon-raisin french toast, Vermont maple sausage and buttermilk blueberry pancakes. (There is a very wide assortment on the menu - breakfast only.) BTW, I ordered the full stack of pancakes, which was three very large, plate-sized pancakes. Almost more than I could eat, and I'm a big eater!

These were all very tasty - especially with the Vermont syrup.

The cost was reasonable. (We paid $28 for this, including tax and tip.)

The service was very good - quick, friendly, helpful. (but, of course, there weren't many other customers at the time) Refills on water and coffee were quick when needed.

The bathrooms were small, but very clean.

We liked the atmosphere and will almost certainly return in the future.

People wait on line for upwards of an hour to get into this teeny tiny upstairs space for freshly prepared, uniquely fruit topped, pancakes, waffles etc. Vermont syrup, Vermont cheeses, it's all here. You really do feel like you are in someone's kitchen. I loved it.
