Jan's Pet Care

Jan is friendly, punctual, very helpful, trust-worthy, and my dogs enjoy getting to see her. You can tell Jan really likes animals, by the way she reacts with them. Her services are very reasonably priced, and I highly recommend this service. It is a relief to know my pets get to have a break if I can't make it home on time.

Jan's Pet Care makes my life easier every day. Jan Haban is professional, dependable, and a true pet lover. My two dogs, Macy and Chloe, absolutely love her and look forward to her visits every day. I saw a big difference in them immediately after Jan began her daily visits. She communicates well and is extremely reliable. I trust her 100% and am forever grateful that I chose her services.

Jan Habans business ad states Excellent Service Since 2003. Not only do I agree, I would say from my own experience, Peace of Mind Since 2004. I finally go on vacation and enjoy myself; I relax and know my pets are receiving top-notch care, my house is safe and the small details that matter to me are being tended to.

My pets love her and the toys she invents for my overweight tabby cat to play with are his favorites and make him beg to play. I wish every business I dealt with incorporated the creativity and high standards Jan does in caring for these beloved members of our family.

It took some time but since finding her service I havent used anyone else nor would I. Jan is professional, trustworthy, great with the animals and reliable. Id recommend her without any reservations.

Jan has provided my two cats excellent care for the past two years. She does everything I ask and never forgets any details, which helps my peace of mind while I am away. I know she cares about my pets and how much I care about them.

I first used Jan to take care of my two dogs in November of 2004. I think she does an excellent job and I would recommend her whole-heartedly.

The extra services she provides like bringing in the mail and making the house looked "lived in" while we're on vacation are a very valuable bonus.

Last June, one of our dogs got sick and was gone in a month. We were devastated. I sent Jan an e-mail telling her the sad news. With her condolences, was a link to a photo site to allow us to see the pictures she had taken of Madison and Bear.

To see the two of them playing in the back yard and mugging for the camera spoke volumes as to the care they were receiving while we were gone.

Today, I cherish those pictures of Madison.

My Kitty Boys say it is 2 paws WAY UP for Jan's Pet Care. I have 8 cats. Most came right off the street and are wary of strangers. Jan tracks down even the shy ones for a conversation and an invitation for food and a pet.

When you return you get a daily report to give you an idea of how everyone fared during your time away. Need somethng special?...just make a note and Jan will take care of it.

I highly recommend her services. She is very reasonably priced for services provided.

I began using Jan's Pet Care in September 2006, a few months after we got our Labrador Retriever, Bailey. I cannot say enough about how great our experience has been using Jan's services. My husband and I both work full time jobs and it is sometimes difficult to make sure that Bailey gets a break during the day. I can call Jan the evening before (sometimes even the day of!) and she will find a way to make sure that she can help us. Also, both my husband's and my families live outside of Columbus, so the majority of our family functions are over a hour away and we cannot always take Bailey with us. Jan has always been able to take care of Bailey when we need her most. Not only does she let Bailey out, she will spend the time with her to take her for a short walk and play with her! I honestly can say that I would give Jan the highest recommendation (and have to several others already!) for any pet owner that can use a little additional extra assistance!

We were hesitant at the thought of allowing a stranger in our house alone with our 3 babies (2 pugs and 1 lab mix), but Jan put us at ease during her initial meet and greet session. Our one dog is usually VERY picky about who he likes and who he dislikes, but he walked right up to Jan - sniffed her face then gave her a kiss - I was in awe! Jan kept in constant contact with us via email and telephone during our week long vacation and even sent us pictures of the pups playing in our back yard! Our dogs absolutely LOVE it when "Aunt" Jan gets to puppy-sit them. I would HIGHLY recommend her to take care of your furry family members!

Jan is the best.The love she showed our two boys from the time they were just pups, they loved Aunt Jan. Reliable and dependable and caring. Jan has a way with my guys, they love taking walks with her or just lounging around when it's raining. To have the busy days my wife and I have, she gave us the opportunity to give our boys some exercise and love during the day. Flexible is one thing Jan is, she will always be one of the family. Jan's services over the last year and a half have been flawless. We are very pleased with the quality of her services and the level of her commitment to our two cockatiels. She consistently goes above and beyond- little things like getting the mail, vacuuming the cage area and leaving it spotless, taking pictures of our pets and leaving daily notes about Iris and Mac.

I am a former client of Jan's (former simply because I moved out of her area): she walked my dog every day for four years, occassionally three times a day when I was out of town. She was by far the best dogwalker I've ever had: she was always responsible, and went the extra mile whenever needed. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Jan has been my pet sitter for several years. I absolutely know that when I have to leave town, my babies are in great hands. My kitties are my children and I never have to worry about my girls when Jan is taking care of them. Its an enormous relief and one less thing I have to worry about when Im away. She is completely reliable is totally committed to all the animals in her care.

Jan Haban who owns Jans Pet Care has taken care of my Giant Schnauzer, Hunter, for a very long time. Hunter knows when she arrives and if you could see how he reacts with her, you would think she was the owner.

She has a very spiritual way with animals. I know Hunter truly loves her. I have recently moved out of the area that Jan works in and she has graciously worked with me so Hunter doesnt have to deal with another change. I spent a majority of my time out of the country last year because I adopted a little boy from Guatemala. I knew I didnt have to worry about Hunter because he was being well taken care of and loved.

The fact is Hunter isnt just a pet; he is part of my family. The extra cost to have Jan come in and take care of Hunter justifies my peace of mind, which in todays world you truly cannot put a price on. I would highly recommend Jan as a pet sitter, one who is honest, trustworthy and dependable.
