My family and I took the second trip to George's this summer. If you recall the movie " My Big Fat Greek Wedding" you would know what I mean by saying my family. Having 18 people in a party would put some restaurants into frenzy. Not at

I was there on Sunday, Father's Day. The place was extremely busy. We waited about 45 min but went to the bar for drinks (which were fabulous). I had a cucumber basil tom collins, wow! very refreshing! Once seated, we had the sushi which was unbelievable. The day boat cod and the pan seared scallops were excellent also. We didnt have dessert.

We would recommend this place if you are looking for the freshest seafood. The view is also spectacular.

A couple next to us told us that they have coming for the past 40 years. This place has been around that long.

Every summer we make several visits to George's of Galilee. Every time my daughters come out from Pennsyvlania, this is where we stop for delicious seafood. My son-in-laws are amazed at how fresh the seafood is at George's and we enjoy the fun outside dining on the deck.Joan and Bud Brown

A large restaurant and famous in the location. Get there early for a good table and order anything because everything is delicious on the menu. The staff is very friendly and accomodating.

Great clam cakes, the service tends to be sub par in the summer due to the amount of clientele pouring into the restaurant to sample the outstanding seafood. I personally have experienced a wait of over an hour.

We always eat at George's when we go to the beach. You can dine indoors or out overlooking the water. The service is good. The food is very good. Reasonable prices. Fun to have a drink here and watch the boats come in.

Horribly disappointing experience here. Would not recommend it (unless perhaps you just want to go to the bar).

Firstly, they have been advertising their new sushi menu like crazy, on their website and in person. The page for "sushi" is even in the menu - yet, we were told that they would not be serving any sushi for at least another month. Strike one.

Secondly - there are only two vegetarian choices on the entire menu (unless other stuff was special ordered). One sounded delicious - the baby spinach & strawberry salad - unfortunately, they were not serving that either. Strike two.

The only choice left was some sort of a "Greek wrap," which consisted of only lettuce, tomato, way too many olives, and feta cheese. Really simple, and really not that good. Strike three.

I also ordered some potato skins. WAY TOO DRY AND OVERCOOKED. THESE WERE HORRIBLE. DO NOT ORDER THE POTATO SKINS. Strike Four.

When I ordered a water, they messed that up too. Because they serve all their drinks from a bar, I ended up with a dirty plastic cup filled with what appeared to be 9 parts water and 1 part iced tea. They messed up the second time by serving me water which had ice that was covered in...some sort of dirty stuff, I don't want to guess what it might be. Strikes 5 and 6.

Overall the food seemed to be typical bar-fare. If you're looking to go get plastered and enjoy some sub-par food, then I recommend this place. If you're looking for a nice sit-down restaurant experience, then stray away. No matter where your placement in the restaurant, it was easy to hear the Jimmy Buffet music permeating through the air. Strike 7.

I will NOT be returning here. ever. Unless, perhaps, to order their beer and stay away from the food.

Pros: Good Bar Atmosphere

Cons: Typical Bar-fare, low quality food, horrible ambiance, were out of several things on the menu, very little vegetarian options.
