VCA Covington Animal Hospital

Took my sick dog in, the vet felt her gut, took xrays, found nothing, or saw nothing and still decided she needed surgery asap. To the tune of $2600.00. Took longer working up the estimate than the exam. Decided to get a second opinion, was I glad I did. No surgery needed, just a sick gut. I actually had to consider putting my dog down, although i wouldn't have, but $2600.00 for an unneeded surgery is nuts! I called the clinic back a few days later, and to his credit the vet did return my call. He listened to my story, said he was sorry, and still did not offer to refund the $180.00 he charged me for an xray and exam.. no wonder you get one free exam. This place is out to make a buck thats for sure, I will not be going back..

This clinic gave me an appointment on short notice to see my very ill Maine Coon. Once there, we didn't wait very long, and Dr. Julie Brazeau was thorough in her exam and explanation of test results. A very sad and difficult situation was made a little easier by the efficiency and gentleness of the staff in this clinic, for which I am grateful.

After bad experiences with several other vets, I now take both my cats and dog to Covington VCA. The staff is great, and all three of the actual vets I've seen have been excellent. They explain everything well, are patient with my nervous dog, check-in after problems to make sure everything is going well, and always willing to answer any questions you have.\r\nThey may be a little more expensive than some other places, but it's not by much, and well worth an extra $10-$20 here or there to be able to feel comfortable and completely satisfied.

I have only been to this vet clinic a few times but already know I will never go any wear again. I used to go to one down in Kent but really disliked going there. I started going to Covington because by dog was not eating and I also found a coupon for 50% off vaccines on Wednesday afternoons. (which worked out good for me because that is my only day off). I went in there the first time (a little late because I got lost), but they did not seem to mind, they got me in quickly and the staff I meet were really nice. The doctor that saw my animal (Dr. Julie) was great, she noticed my dog has a broken tooth and has a lot of tarter on his teeth. I did not notice because I never look at his teeth. The doctor also mentioned that they were having a dental promo. going on and the dental is 20% off. I thought that was great because i don't have a lot of money and don't really want to go to a cheap value pet sort of clinic that won't care for my pet the way this vet hospital does. I can also leave him over night at no charge after the surgery if I need too. This vet clinic is the best I have ever been to and will never go any wear else. Thank you staff at Covington Animal Hospital so much or helping my very loved pet Boomer, he is already feeling better:)

My dog Smudge was attacked by a squirrel and her neck was swollen and infected. We took her to the animal hospital and they took excellent care of her. They shaved her neck and gave us some medicine to take care of her.

We just adopted our first dog and took her to VCA Covington for her first veterinary visit. The staff was friendly and informative and it was convenient for us that they have later weekday hours. I felt they were a bit overpriced, but as this is our first dog, I don't really have anything else to compare it to.

Although it wasn't under great circumstances when I visited the VCA Convington Animal Hospital the staff there was amazing and helpful. My minature dauchshoud had broken one of his legs jumping off a high piece of furnature and our whole family was there of course to rush him to the nearest animal hospital. We were all very worried but the staff was soothing and helped put our puppy in good hands as soon as possible. I would recommend this animal hospital.

The Covington Veterinary Hospital does a excellent job making both the pet and owner feel comfortable with every visit. The staff is very friendly and have done an excellent job treating our dog every time we have taken him in.

While we don't regularly go to this Vet, we were impressed with their willingness to help us in an emergency situation. They were kind, caring and very helpful when we weren't regular clients. Thank you for your help.

Everyone here is friendly, knowledgeable, and eagar to help, whether I've gotten some advice on the phone or taken our pets in. I've never had to wait long, prices are very reasonable, and the office is clean.

I usually go to a vet in Maple Valley, but I was doing a mystery shop for this one. They weren't extremely friendly when I came (especially for being a new patient). When we finally got to the examination room, we were kept waiting for about 20 minutes. The vet came in once, then left (it looked like he was eating a sandwich). When he came back, he wasn't the friendliest, but he wasn't mean either. It left me happy that I go to another vet.

We took our cat in for a check-up here and again when she had to be put to sleep. The staff was very kind and considerate both times. They talked us through all the options available so we could make the best choices. They did a very good job of helping us through what was a very sad experience.

My cat likes to get bladder infections and the staff at Covington Veterniary Hospital are very friendly and helpful. While I hate to pay the prices of veterinarian care, they do answer all my questions and send me off with everything needed to care for my cat. They also keep in touch quite frequently during my cat's "visit" so I am always informed about what is going on with him.
