Located in the new Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino, Dos Camino is the 4th outpost of a Mexican cuisine Mecca centered in Manhattan, offering authentic, inventive fare with a side of style & spice. Building on classic Mexican staples like guacamole, empanadas & tacos, the menu includes signature items of modern flair created exclusively for Las Vegas from Corporate Executive Chef Scott Linquist, who has overseen the brand's expansion and co-authored the Dos Caminos cookbook, Mod Mex. Whether it's 10 am or 10 pm, don't miss Dos Caminos' critically acclaimed, made-to-order guacamole, now coming to Sin City. Wait, there's still more with that margarita... SALA lounge at Dos Caminos, will put the feisty in fiesta with the hippest DJ styling, bottle service, VIP tables, private cabanas, top-notch people watching, 35 unique tequilas with custom flavored salts, and a late-night tasting menu.

In Short
Dos Caminos has a more modern look than most Mexican restaurants. The 700-seat space uses rich woods, earth tones and curvy design to create a relaxing atmosphere and pumping music fuels the high-energy vibe. The menu, however, sticks to classic Mexican fare. Tacos are made with either chicken, fish, steak or pork and the fresh sides of guacamole comes made-to-order. Hearty meals include the lamb shank barbacoa, roasted chicken enchiladas with mole poblano and salsa verde and a Chilean sea bass veracruzano. If your not bursting at the seams by the end of the meal, order up the flan, the Mexican banana split or the white and dark chocolate fondue.

Key Points

  • Specialty margaritas
  • Tequila Menu & Guacamole
  • Private Cocktail Lounge- DJ

The Inside Scoop

  1. The Extras - Take a flight--of tequila that is. With 35 different ones to try you can sample your favorites.
  2. What to Drink - Sip a Blueberry Pomegrante or Frozen Prickly Pear margarita or try the sangria.
  3. When to Go - The action heats up at Sala Lounge at night when bottle service begins and DJs spin.

Great Margaritas

by Laura M. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 358

I really love this restaurant. They have the best guacamole bowl and chips I've had anywhere in vegas. Their margaritas are delicious as well. I recommend the blueberry one.

Don't go unless you want to pay a lot for bad food

by lasvegasgirl2009

We went the other night with 12 people. The music was so loud that you could only talk to the person next to you and we had to say "What?" a lot. I ordered a salad and you would think you couldn't screw that up but they did. The sangria was horrible. No one liked their food except for one person who ordered the skirt steak. The food is way overpriced. And the servers didn't smile.
The bathroom was the highlight of the restaurant. It is circular and beautiful.
If you want great southewestern gourment food, try Yolo's at Planet Hollywood. Much better food and cocktails, better service, better prices. The chef is from Tao's.

Pros: Close enough to walk to the V Bar at The Venetian

Cons: Too loud and the food is not good except for the guac.

Tableside Guac!

by Nealeo24

Eaten at this place a multitude of times in NYC. Love the tableside guac and chips. The food is pretty standard not the best bit not the worst. A very consistent fare. The drinks are nice and I can finally get a decent marg on the rocks. Great atmosphere with the rest of the package keeps me coming back. Great place to take visiters esp those who have never been. Will continue to frequent.

Awesome mexican

by mjd66

My husband and I always seach out the best mexican food when we travl. Dos Caminos rates very high on our list. The guacamole was great - fresh herbs and tomatoes! We also had pork tacos and the tuna tostados. Both were delightful. Although the margaritas are expensive, we really enjoyed them. We will definately return on our next visit to Vegas!

Mediocre

by macster15

Had high expectations but really, it was just "alright." I get better guacamole at my neighborhood carniceria (that's meat market for you non-Spanish speakers:) The prickly pear margarita was strong and tasty but overpriced, just like everything else on the menu. Don't order the shrimp quesadilla or ceviche sampler plate. It was empty on a Thursday during lunch and service was quick and timely. Honestly though, I think this place is overrated.

Pros: Great decor

Cons: Over priced

Great night out

by bdub2121

Went to Dos Caminos last weekend and it was the best place i have been in Las Vegas for a while. Being born and raise in Las Vegas I am a hard critic on food and service and Dos Caminos exceeded my expectations. The food was out of this world service was great hospitality was five star. They also have the best lounge in Las Vegas. Not club crazy but a great place to hang out without all the night club problems and prices.

Dos Caminos-Great Restaurant, Great Lounge

by franchise2008

I went to Dos Caminos for the first time, we dined in the restaurant and had phenomenal service to add with the great food they had to offer. After dining we all went into the lounge and had some more drinks, it was a very nice venue, the DJ was awesome, the room was packed, and everyone in the lounge had good energy. Dos Caminos took great care of us and I hope that when you go there that you will enjoy it as much as I did

Excellent restaurant and lounge

by JPP33

Dos Caminos exceeded my expectations on every account. Most restaurants don't have a great lounge, and most louges don't have great food. Dos Caminos had both covered. We went in for dinner, and liked the atmosphere so much that we decided to stay to hang out. The food was excellent, and the guacamole is a must have. The staff was very upbeat and fun, and provided great service. We ended up staying there the whole night! It was the best night of my trip, so i had to post a review to let everyone know that if you are going to Vegas, you have to check out Dos Caminos at the Palazzo.

Pros: Best mexican food, best service, best ambience.. They have it all.
