If you come to Hawaii, you have to stop at L&L's. You get a huge plate for your dollar. Plus all the great local foods. Must check out the katsu chicken.

when i lived in hawaii i loved going to l & l drive in to enjoy the delicious chicken katsu. when i go back to visit my relatives, i can't help but stop by there for old time's sake.
