The on-site manager at One Napili Way is very rude. We were renting three different suites for eleven nights (the whole family went), and many family members experienced rudeness from the manager.

There is an entrance off the main road to the parking lot, but it exits from the hotel to the main road, and it is NOT marked exit only from outside. The gate happened to be open when my grandparents arrived, and so they attempted to come in the exit. Instead of telling them it was exit only, the manager ran over and yelled at them to "go around! This isn't an entrance!"

Also, the rooms are each equipped with garbage disposals, two of which broke and flooded the kitchens with dirty water. The other kitchen also got flooded but this is because the pipe underneath fell off the sink. He lectured that it was our fault and made our grandmother wait for hours to have someone come and fix it.

It was very rainy while we were there, and both of the upper level suites had leaky roofs. It leaked on our belongings and a laptop and damaged them and he replied that we must have left the windows open.

When it came time to check out, we asked if it would be possible to have one of the suites for a little bit later because our flights all left late, and he said no, we had to be out by 11am. When the cleaner came the next day (early), it was just one woman (very nice!) who said she'd be doing all of them, and wouldn't get to ours until after 12:30. The manager, however, came banging on our door before eleven to make sure we'd be out, and inspected everything before we left. He also quite rudely told us to clean up our garbage and as soon as it was eleven, he told us we were now late.

The only saving grace was that it had a great location, close to the beach, and we didn't spend much time there anyway. Note, if you're not renting a car, there isn't too much within walking distance. We all had cars, so this wasn't a problem, but groceries/attractions/anything other than the beach is not close enough to drive to!

ETA: After forwarding this review to the owner, he has answered all of my questions and explained much of the reasoning behind such, though he did not offer any compensation. He did say, however, that this was not the first poor review of the on-site manager, and that the manager is in fact leaving One Napili Way. The owner is very polite and addressed every issue/complaint very satisfactorily. Hopefully the new on-site manager will be better, because with good staff, this place could be a dream getaway spot!
