I went here to use a buy one get one free burrito coupon and I'm glad I did. Their California burritos are really good here and their location off the UCSD shuttle stop is really convenient.

This is a great bargain for breakfast $2.50 burritos. The burritos are big enough to share! For lunch, get shredded beef anything, because they do not skimp on the beef. Their portions are generous. However, their salsas are really watery. That can be forgiven because they also have really good beans. I am not a bean person, but I will eat their beans!

Located in the Vons Shopping Center on Regents Road, Los Primos opened up last year with very little press. It was only through my friends first experience here that I learned there was actually a Mexican Restaurant that had just opened in La Jolla. Since then I've visited my fair share when in need of a burrito and not wanting to drive to Robertos or Cotixan. I'd personally recommend the California Burrito (either carne asada or pollo asado as choice of meat). Their carne asada or pollo asado fries are also filling. If you are feeling really hungry the monster burrito can fill you up and maybe someone else. Other items on the menu include fish tacos (which are $1.19 on Mondays and Wednesdays), entree dinners (which aren't as filling as you'd think), and desserts such as churros. The salsa bar is also pretty good as it comes with carrots too; plus their drinks are pretty diverse and you can actually refill your horchata! Their breakfast burritos aren't bad and are actually very affordable if you go before 11am. Its hours are also pretty good though they aren't open 24 hours like other Taco shops in San Diego it's not bad for La Jolla (when everything but Ralphs is open all day/night). Overall the service is pretty good and you get your food pretty quick; the extra star is that they take credit card so for you college students who are strapped for cash or are more prone to spending on plastic you can stop by and try some of the food (just don't try stumbling in at 4 am in the morning).
