I find it curious that this place refers to itself as "kid friendly." I am not sure if I just had bad luck but the minute I walked in very pregnant and out of breath from holding my 16 month old toddler) I was told very abruptly to make sure my daughter didn't leave any crumbs behind from a quarter-sized piece of falafel I couldn't pry from her little hand. Anyone with any child experience, let alone toddler experience, would empathize here. There was no way I was going to take it from her prior to entering the store or else I would have done so. I guess I was insulted that this woman thought I would let my child wander around the store and leave a trail for her to pick up. I'm sure she was extremely busy in the empty store but nevertheless, did I look like I had grown up in a jungle? There was no changing table for my little one either nor was there an offer for some alternative because as all us parents know, as soon as we leave the house, it's cause for a bio break in the diaper even if they've had a change in the last 15 minutes. I was looking forward to the experience as I wanted to shop in a kid friendly environment but I would say the play table was the only kid friendly thing I experienced. Maybe your child has to be of certain age in order for the sales person to be friendly. If I hadn't had such a need for shoes for my little one, I would've walked out of the store. Now that I have a sense for what my child's size is and the brands I like, I think I will stick to online shopping.

This store is chid friendly immediately upon entering the parking lot. The parking area allows you to get your children out of the car without the danger of them being close to the road. Once you have entered the store you see an amazing assortment of shoes, slippers, socks, boots and rain gear. The children are drawn to an area where they can play with the train set or sit on a child size bench and look at a picture book. Staff members are ready to size your childs feet and help you to find just the right shoe for that special occasion or for everyday use.
It is not unusual to find one of the staff members playing at the train table with a child while another helps find that shoe you are looking for.
