this place is wonderful, excellent food and great service. they have a lot of decorations that can be good conversation pieces. and the food never ceases to impress.

Best in the area! Great fish fry ( I call it a whale!) Great comfort food in a family friendly setting. Owned and run by a wonderful Irish family. The Irish is seen through out the menu and everything is great! Whether you try the Newport or the Lebanon Pub you will want to go back!

The salt Hill Pub is a great place to get good comfort food. They have a good selection of not only beer but also some hard cider for you non beer drinkers. Their take out is good and service is friendly!

An enjoyable experiance, their location is absoultely magnificent, in a turn of the century, recently renovated, brick building.

My meal consisted of a tall glass of Magners Irish Cider, and the plowmans lunch; slices of wheat and sourdough bread, with boneless slices of salmon fillet, onion slices, tomatos, chedder cheese, and a delicious horse radish dip.

I was ready for the rest of the after that, this is a great place, after that I would head to Claremont, lots of good establishments there, Sophie and Ziekes, Green Acres Fine Food and wine, there's just so many diamonds to be found in this lower upper valley area!
