So I give this place a call disregarding the crappy ratings I've come across on almost every other consumer rating site because it??s pretty cheap. The first time I call I'm immediately turned off by the Used Car salesman attitude of the receptionist (who just happens to be the owner).

And yet..I still agree to come in for classes(ignoring my gut feeling about this place). A few hours on the day I'm suppose to come in and PAY I dig a little further into what the course entails.
Come to find out... I'll be sitting in a simulator for 5 weeks(2x a week, 1 hour max session, you cannot go more than 2x a week) before I actually see the inside of a car!!!!

So I politely tell the owner I'm going to reschedule my appointment. At that moment this man had an adult tantrum and begins to argue with me about why his school is the best.....THEN hangs up on me in mid argument. WHO THE HELL DOES THAT!!!

This place has some drama issues to work out. If you don't mind unprofessionalism and being talked down to like a child....Then this is the place for you.

Good Luck(B/c you're really going to need it at this place)

Pros: Prices seem pretty cheap

Cons: the owners HUGE ego can make things highly uncomfortable

I went to this school. I got my license on the first try. Yes, its old and looks delapidated, but this stuff works.
Testimonial letters line the wall. If you have never been in a car this is the place for you. I highly recommend it to the elderly and nervous drivers who have had an accident.

I was a skeptic on first glance. They have never changed their policy....I went there in 89, I paid in cash payments. My niece will be going to the school in the next session. I was referred by a corporation that offered us a small discount.

Yes, they are unorganized but keep the money records and class schedules straight. It is not fancy smansy....but its a great school. In the end I was happy and I remember what I had learned from viewing the videos, which is very important. You get and opportunity to drive under all types of conditions in the simulator, night, rain, skids, curves, etc. This was extremely important when I skidded and I knew what to do......I won't tell you.... join the school.

Pros: Effective learning device, learn what to do under any conditions

Cons: Not the cleanest place or latest cars, No credit cards, Equipment Not always working

there's something fishy about this place... cannot pay by credit card (only check, money order or cash). when i called to ask who i could make the check out to they told me that they would let me know when i came to pay. hmmmmmm. that sounds sorta strange.

and another thing... they kept calling me to confirm my appointment for registration. that's not good service... that's borderline creepy.

The driving movies are informative but the mock cars and steering wheel work of no help in the real world. The driving instructor I had was good, the five hour class teacher was a mess, the communications were poor and setting up of appointments was a grab bag. There was a big lapse because the car broke down. You need to fend for for yourself with this group.

Pros: , location

Cons: , appointment grab bag

.

You watch a screen which shows the driver's seat view of a moving car. You turn a steering wheel which has no effect on the screen, which everyone else is also doing. What a waste of time. I've also seen the person at the front desk write their own testimonials on greeting cards. If you look closely at all the cards on the wall, you can see that most of the handwriting is the same.
