Horrible experience! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! Rude and snobby staff...I purchased a bridal gown, veil and a pair of shoes for my daughter at this store...during her bridal fitting, her ordered shoes were brought out and the assistant who retrieved them for her placed them on her feet under the wedding gown and later removed them, placing them in the box. Once we returned home, my daughter opened the box to "show off" her beautiful new shoes; only to find that they were scuffed and well-worn on the bottom. We brought them with us for the second fitting in the hopes of exchanging them for an appropriately new pair. Unfortunately we were told that under no circumstances were there any returns or exchanges. What? These shoes were passed off as and sold as in "new condition"; why else would anyone in their right mind pay $250 for a pair of "used" shoes. To make matters worse, the staff was rude and gave significant attitude about the issue, stating "who is going to see them anyway...they are under your dress". I am completely flabbergasted! This is how customers spending well over $6000 are treated? Disgusting customer service! Definitely NOT worth all the hype!!!

bought a Jim Hjelm gown from a retailer who had been in business for over 40 years, Kleinfelds. We paid thousands of dollars for a "designer" dress as well as an alteration fee for their tailoring expertise. We expected first quality designer item and ended up with a dress whose zipper broke 30 seconds after putting on the dress.

I had my last fitting where the seamstress had a hard time zippering the dress. I asked her if there was an issue with the zipper and she said no - assuring us that every thing is perfect and that since the dress is altered to be fitted to the body it was just hard for her to maneuver the zipper since it was a small piece.

We picked up the dress which was stuffed with tissue paper and that's how it was transported for the wedding ceremony. The dress was not touched until the time it was put on to where my nightmare watching the zipper come apart began. An hour late to the church and $300 later, I was sewed into my dress by a local cleaners, but cleary could see the uneveness and damage, not to mention the embarassment of showing up an hour late to the church!

We paid for alterations at Kleinfelds and expected 1st quality alterations by experienced staff - they were the experts on whom we relied and to whom we paid for their services. I as a consumer expected the dress to be first quality and usable for the occasion for which it was bought. I did not expect trauma on a day which should have been care free and to hassle in locating a tailor to come and sew me into my dress.

Kleinfelds offered to pick up the dress, reimburse us for the tailor and to preserve it for me. FOR WHAT?? I need it on my wedding day, not after!! That is not acceptable. We did not get the 1st quality product we paid for and this was a one time only dress, what will I do with it now??!?

I am shocked at their lack of response and attitude towards this and the ruining of a day which should have been perfect. I contacted them and it takes them days if not weeks to call me back. I leave messages, nothing.

I am now going through my credit card for a full refund. This place is a joke....they only care about their show and the "stars" that work there now....if you want true customer service you are better off with a smaller retailer that will provide you with true customer service and not the run around.

However, my mother really wanted me to "go for the experience". I was not planning on purchasing a dress (I already had a small deposit on another dress). WELL, my family and I had such an amazing experience at Kleinfeld's that I purchased my dress! My sales consultant was Rosaria and she was AMAZING! I explained to her what style dress I like and she knew exactly which dress I wanted. My advise for future brides: Go to other salons before Kleinfelds so that you know exactly what you want and so you don't feel pushy. No matter what, definately try to get to Kleinfelds. It's affordable and worth the time. They are VERY professional, the quality of the dresses are uncomparable, and they really care about you and making sure you feel like a princess ;)

their show should be called say yes to the commission and not the dress. they are more concerned about getting u in and out and making that sale then the bride. and god forbid u ask if they can hold the dress for a few hours so u can think on it coz when u come back the dress may have been sold to another bride.its true they said they would hold my friends dress over night (mind u it was the only one left) and when she called 4 hours before her cut off time, they told opps we sold it. and they tried to sell her on a dress way out of her price range. stick to the small boutiques, they really know how to treat ya, and in the end that where she found her dress.

This place is amazing. When you look at the gowns, they are arranged by styles and the room seems like the size of a football field. The saleswoman are very knowledgeable and the place is lovely. There is a nice area for father's to wait. They have all the accessories from shoes, to undergarments to tiaras.

She didn't rush me, and she was so fun to work with. She has the ability to listen to your ideas and somehow find the dress thats perfect for you, even if you doubt it when you see it on the hanger. I walked in very intimidated by the reputation of the salon and immediately felt like family. They even got the designer to lower the price for me, and so many people came to compliment me and to introduce themselves, even the owner who gave me her home number in case I had any questions or problems. They are so professional and yet make you feel so comfortable at the same time. I would definitely recommend Keasha to anyone I met and Kleinfeld's overall. I left that day in happy tears feeling ready to be a bride. They go above and beyond what is expected of them and they deserve the reputation they have.

I could go on and on about all the things they did wrong. My friend loved a dress she found there, but ended up buying it at a different store because she didn't want to give them her business.

I tried on about 15 dresses but only showed my friends who were there with me 2 dresses! After an hour I was exhausted and wanted to leave. The consultant also forgot to get me a robe so while she was pulling all these dresses, I was left sitting there in the room, by myself, in my underwear!

Before visiting Kleinfeld for the first time, I went to 3 other stores trying on bridal dresses. My first visit to Kleinfeld was memorable. I took my mom, sister and 2 cousins with me to get their input on the dresses I tried on. Upon arrival, everyone there was super friendly. And we didn't have to wait long until my consultant, Rita, called us in. So began my Kleinfeld experience.

I must have tried on about 10 dresses while there. There were a couple I liked, but weren't "the one". I struggled with this concept because I felt like so many dresses had a few things I liked, but nothing really had everything I wanted. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find the dress while there, though Rita was super, super nice and not pushy at all. We also noticed the owners, Mara and Ronnie, there and I made a mental note that it's nice to see the owners of the store there. It makes it feel more personable.

For another month, I visited more stores throughout the area, making my bridal store visit totaling 11 stores, including Kleinfeld. Figuring I try on about 8 dresses per store...that's a LOT of dresses! I was starting to get discouraged and frustrated. Then I got an e-mail from Kleinfeld informing me of a Henry Roth / Michelle Roth trunk show. I looked at the designer's website and loved their designs so I made a second appointment to view the collection.

Back for our second visit, Rita recognized us immediately and greeted us warmly. We wasted no time and I told Rita I was there to view the Michelle and Henry Roth collection. So we wasted no time and pulled dresses and I was trying them on in a matter of minutes. I tried on about 4 dresses before putting on "the one" dress...I think I knew it was the one when Rita made all the necessary dress pulling and adjustments and it took my breath away. Michelle Roth, the designer, was there also and between her and Rita, provided me with all the accessories to show how the look would be completed. I definitely knew it was "the one" when I kept walking around in it and never wanted to take it off.

Needless to say, I bought the dress and can't wait til it comes in!

Lastly, Mara and Ronnie were again present at the store while we were there. I just thought it was really nice to know that the owners of the store are so into their business and dedicated to making their presence known in the Kleinfeld name. I really did feel like family there!

Wouldn't you know there was a terrible snow storm the day of the appointment. I had to go alone. I even considered having my fiancee come and wait in the lobby.
To my most pleasant surprise, Nancy Shishik was my sales person. From the moment she started working with me, not only was she absolutely in tune with what I was looking for, she was beyond comforting.
It turned out that there was an issue with the dress I loved. There was only 1 sample that was not going to be available for me to try on for my mom when she could come in. But that didn't stop the team at Kleinfeld's. Nancy and Randy Fenoli went completely beyond the call of duty to get this dress back for me to try on again. I can not express how pleased and how shocked I was that they took every necessary step to make me happy. 110% customer satisfaction was the only option. We all know how rare that is to find any where today.
Please don't pay attention to any stereotype you may hear. Nancy and this team are beyond amazing.

i bought my dress at Klienfeld and I was helped by a Hispanic women named Blanca. She treated me like her own daughter. She was very warm and helpful and even though I was very overwhelmed and tried on about 10 dresses that had a corset in the back, she had so much patience and didn't even rush me at all.
