Please do not rent from ATM. They are slumlords. I had a leaky ceiling+window for three years that was painted over repeatedly without being permanently fixed. Needless to say the leak kept coming back. Be warned: they will NOT return your

I used to live in one of the buildings managed by this company and I wouldn??t recommend it to anyone living there.
Let's start with the SECURITY MONEY. You will never see your security money again. If you are planning to move out from the building make sure that you send a vacancy letter to their office 2 MONTHS before you leave, is something that they will never tell you but they expect you to know even though it is not in the lease agreement. They are going to try to keep your security money no matter what since that is how their business works.
BUILDING CLEANING CONDITIONS, the building is dirty and the cockroaches are everywhere. It doesn't matter how clean you keep your apartment, the cockroaches move thru the pipes. Is really disgusting and unsanitary. An exterminator is supposed to go to the building every month the only problem is that they never tell you when he/she is supposed to be there, anyway whatever product the exterminator uses doesn??t really work.
BUILDING SECURITY, you are not going to feel safe living in the building. The main door sometimes works, other times it doesn't and the back door of the building is always open so everybody can just walk into the building without the need of a key.
RUDNESS, as the previous reviewer stated the people from the office are really impolite, rude and unhelpful. They are not knowledgeable of anything relating to the building and if you have any problem with the heat, laundry machines, water, shower, noise, etc. don??t expect any rapid response from the management office. They will get back to you in days, weeks or sometimes never.
Now you decide if you want to live in any of the buildings managed by this real estate company?.

Let me start with the receptionist, very rude and has no respect for the tenants or the future tenants. The first time I walked into the office she didn't greet me, she didn't even care to ask if she could help me. When I started to ask about filling out an application the phone rang, she immediately picked it up, not even putting them on hold then shut the window in my face. After I got accepted they told me it would be 2 months rent plus a key fee to move in, so the next day I brought the money they added on another months rent, this is after the receptionist argued with me for at least 20 mins. While I waited in the office waiting for my key, there was over 5 people waiting in the office while the receptionist ignored everyone having a personal conversation about her car being repoed with someone at the window.

Now to the problems with the apartment: When I first moved in the heat was working fine. About 2 weeks later the heat wasnt working, my daughter and I were having to wear sweat pants and a jacket to bed. We called ATM and the same receptionist answered and replied with it is a nice day. I don't know who thinks 55 in the day then 40 at night is a nice day, its freezing if you don't have heat. She said the heat only comes on when its 55 or below, which was a lie, I later found out it doesnt come on unless its 40 or below. I have a 10 month old daughter, I would have never moved into the place if it was in the lease that I would have to wear a jacket to bed.

Last week I didn??t have hot water for a total of 6 days. We called several times, each time we asked to speak to someone else besides the receptionist; she refused to give the phone to someone else, changing the subject and even one time hanging up.

To end it all: Let me remind you that heat and hot water are suppose to be included in the rent and they are the very 2 things they fail to give you.
The receptionist needs to be fired; I can't believe they even have her working there. Well lets hope, I don't have a problem getting my deposit back.
