They recently had an alterations sale and I had pants done where the process involved reattaching the same hem and it look PERFECT! I was so excited they came back that way because I was scared at first they would look different after spending so much money on them. I've also had dresses done when they were too big and the lady there was really accomodating, nice, and professional (don't know what the previous poster's problem was, but he seemed a bit neurotic with his "seems").
I also normally get my dry cleaning done here and my clothes always come back really clean, unlike many other cleaners I've done business with in the city.
And Sam, the guy at the counter, is the nicest guy in the world! I recently found out (to my relief) that this store wasn't affiliated with the business downstairs in my building so I've been taking my laundry to PT now since the other one kept losing stuff in my loads.
If you're looking for great service and results, go here!

Pros: Whites are really clean, alterations are PERFECT.

Cons: Not associated with the business in my building.

DO NOT TRUST THESE CLEANERS WITH YOUR CLOTHES!!!! They messed up my shirt TWICE and then actually YELLED AT ME when I stood up for myself. I needed a simple shirt hemmed. They told me that they couldn't replicate the exact manufacturer's hem, which I was fine with. I told them, "As long as you can make it look nice and professional." I went to get it and was absolutely SHOCKED at how COMPLETELY HORRIBLE IT LOOKED!!!! I am SO glad I checked it before I paid because t there were TWO wavy lines of stitching cris-crossing each other. I told her it looked terrible and she explained that she had a hard time with it. I told her that I wouldn't take it like that. She said she would re-do it so I went back the next day. It was sewn differently, but looked just as bad. This time, the THE ACTUAL FABRIC WAS CUT JAGGEDLY AND WAS STICKING OUT OF THE SEAM AT THE BOTTOM. SHE DIDN'T EVEN FOLD IT OVER TO SEW IT. I asked them if they thought that looked good and they just said, "We told you we couldn't do a manufacturer's seem." How could a tailor not be able to sew a straight seem on a simple shirt without jagged pieces of fabric hanging from the bottom? The seamstress seemed annoyed by me, but she did offer to try again. I hesitated to trust them again because I had already given them a second chance to fix it.

What really made me want to warn people about this place was that I was perfectly calm the whole time. I did tell them that this was unacceptable and I wouldn't pay for it like that, but the "gentleman" behind the counter started actually YELLING AT ME!!! I think he was embarrassed because another customer came in while I was showing the seamstress the jagged material visibly sticking out of the seam at the bottom of the shirt.. But I don't care what the reason was...you do NOT yell at your customers, especially if they have been calm and patient with you. With that type of behavior and shotty work, I don't know how they stay open!!!"
